Please oo i posted a question earlier but no answer. My school curtin university does SVP and the agent is now telling me that things have change recently, that i am suppose to submit a statement of account of 6 million from my account or account of my sponsor bearing the same surname with me or it has to be somebody bearing a different surname but has a PR in Australia or newziland.
now the whole thing is a big problem, i contacted another agent who is not the school agent and he said his doesn't work that way that the moment i get my eCoe i should send it to along side my document and leave the statement of account things to him.
Please is it advice-able to change from the school agent after getting eCoe?
is they any truth in what this new agent is telling me? cus i got his contact from Australia Immigration portal

My Bro na so we see am. It is possible through the permanent resident route but na long thing; documentation, processes, cost and above all the waiting and incessant request for additional documents! They LOVE to take their time and are very thorough to the smallest minutest of things! The PR advocates here, NNBB et al don tire self! All man na students route with PR in view. There has been just two PR grants here in the past six months......mine will be the next IJN!

I want to thank you guys for the continuous support and words of encouragement. I used Pfl to apply for my visa. I'm a pharmacist and hence very busy schedule. That's why I jst left it to Pfl. That dint mean I dint follow up o or get involved.

Timeline: lodged my application on the 13th of November at teleperformance...got an automatic email reply that same day that my application had been sent to the visa centre. Heard nothing else till today.

Got my visa grant today 7th November, early this afternoon around 2pm ish.

You normally don't get any acknowledgement mail from Pretoria, you will only get your grant on your email.

C/O will only contact you if in case she needs any further clarification (I put she Bcus na so so women full Student Department for Pretoria and I no know y, maybe men are forbidden... hehehehehe).

Anyways, keep checking your email. You can only contact them 5weeks after your submission if you haven heard from them.

I applied for student dependent visa (suclass 573) on the 11th of November 2015 (about 3 weeks ago) and since then I only got a mail from teleperformance that my application has been sent to the Australian embassy in Pretoria ( on the 12th of nov). I haven't been contacted by the embassy itself that my application has been received neither have I been assigned a case officer. My questions are:
1) Do I have to call the embassy and make enquiries about my application?
2) Is it a must for a case officer handling ones application to contact before Visa is granted?
3) What is the maximum number of time required to wait before a case officer is assigned? And the average time required to process the application?
My oshc will start on the 20th of this month... Pls I need your advices on what do and clarifications. Thank you

No P really. Just need another clarification. The lady at Zankli said I should come with a polio card. I just got my yellow card from the Ministry of Health. On this yellow card, it was written that I got yellow fever, CSM and OPV vaccines. I know "OPV" is polio. I'm not very sure if this 'yellow card' is what this lady is referring to as 'polio card'. Please clarify. Thanks.

i did my medicals yestrday at fatayi williams. though my agent booked an appointment for me i also noticed that if u come early u will be attended to.

i paid 30k for the medicals den 2500 for the polio vaccination.... den dey gave me a referal leta to go for x ray at st. nicholas hospital where i paid 5200 nd then left. so in all i paid 37, 700. hope it helps u triggersman

Hold about 45k, that will cover for Medicals, Chest X-Ray and Polio Vaccination.

Check their Contacts on the Site and call them to inform them about your Coming. Also don't forget to go with 2passports foto.

What type of Visas were you refused within 5months? Is it the same dependant Visa or you applied as the Student? Pls elaborate more.

I applied for a subclass 573 dependant visa through a MARA agent in Australia, my husband did all the documentation and I also sent some through DHL to him. My question is since I didn't do any 'Biometrics' along with the application is it going to affect the decision of the CO. Note that I have been refused my visa grant twice already within 5months. Your Visa Application is to be submitted by yourself at Teleperformance after paying your tuition fee and have gotten your eCoE.

Hello guys, well i just got my visa grant via the PFL agent used. I didn't get to know about this thread until after my visa application and all but i hope all I am going to put here helps someone out.
I had no idea about the front loading of the medicals and so it was after i had lodged my visa that i did the medicals.
Visa was lodged on the 13th of November, apparently it got to Pretoria on the 17th of November which was the same day i did my medicals. Fatayi williams sent the results in on the 19th and after then the waiting begun. How i applied to the school is a different story but i have been in India for the last one year and i applied using IDP India to Macquarie and Swinburne Uni of Tech. Cos of Swinburne's toughness and admission conditions changing i settled for Macquarie University, Sydney. The final decision on my visa was made today 3rd December 2015 and i got it this evening. Using this as a point of contact to my brothers and sisters here that yours is already loading and u will receive it soon. Cheers and well done to all the Gurus here for loading up all the knowledge and information. I still learn new stuffs everyday going through all d pages @2posh i hail u o and @futuredon ekuse o and to the other people i forgot to mention......I sight una God bless u guys.

My timeline: submitted my application on 2nd November, medicals on 4th, the application got to Pretoria on 6th, granted on 20th. Pfl said the stuff was delivered to their junk box , called Pretoria today and was told about the grant since last month.
I'm elated. On to IOM now.

babahafusaa visa was not granted and my heart was like jumping harder, i checked my B.P it was more than high like say e smoke. My poeple am am currently facing a psychological trauma of the highest order.

I have been using this trend as a compass to guild me, and the gurus has been to my help cos and it has been working for me instead of wasting thousands on agents that don't even know their right from left just after the money (some don't even know the colour of Australian flag)

Zoology was my first degree.

After graduation i enroll fully as an apprentice for mechanic engineering specializing on Automobiles and heavy duty engines, but i have been learning part-time but not enough time was dedicated due to undergraduate. i now have Engineering Apprentice cert 1 and engineering cert 2 respectively.

One funny thing is that this workshop is my Grandfather business before he died and my youngest uncle is in charge full, Now the property is my dads property via inheritance but no engineer to take over Now i worked years as an apprentice but i want to take everything to the next level but no finance

I have decided to go low with advanced diploma in mechanical engineering at chilsolm abi wetin at australia

admission offered. fee payed, Coe out at a stretch my agent tight

Now my SOP Needs to be reviewed, i have evaluated my chances with guru erictack203 Risk Factors Assessment
which are below?

3. Change of Discipline catch mee how will i cover if not sop and zeal for degree through apprentice
4. Gap in Study catch me but covered through apprentice
5. Previous Weak Academic History.. passed 2.27 gp
6. Bringing Spouse/ Dependants..... my galfriend break ma hrt
7. Previous Qualification is higher than the current applied course catch me bsc to advanced diploma
8. Financial Documents - from the Applicant or Parents account/ Study or Bank Loan/ Direct Relatives only. svp

I also stole some idea from babahaussa mistakes which are:

1 work experience in previous study, and courses selected to justify reasons to undertake the courses intend to practice in Aussy.

2 (GTE) Genuine Temporary entrant issue where my uncle swear an affidavit that the company (Workshop) i intend turning it into company ) belongs to me after study. and i have shown my interest to study as genuine by my part time and full time apprentice training due to i have non engineering degree

3 no money for Bsc in engineering so i opted for an SVP
4 i have an agreement signed by uncle with a lawyer as a witness.

please who will review my sop and critics my issue and what documents do i need to add to secure this grant.....

Gurus have helped but i am really tensed kindly pour more critics and advice pleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

i will be going for medicals on monday want to use this week to gather all gatherable

My Timeline
1. Medicals for me and wife: Mid October (I unwisely filled so many things on the wifey's form for HAP ID and she ended up doing so many tests! Not the best thing to do, please just say no to most of the questions -- I'm talking particularly to the health workers here. Yes, you don't plan to enter an hospital, you don't plan to deliver there, you don't plan to do anything, no? You just want to be on your own there )

2. 11th Nov Gathered all my Docs and Lodged at Teleperformance Abj after making an appointment online

3.. Application got to Pretoria on 13th Nov

4. Decision made on 27th Nov

5. I got the email on 30th Nov

I didn't include my statement of account. I'm self employed and I have a valid Tax Clearance Cert so it makes a lot of things easier.
your sop is very, very important.

Westerners, in my little interaction with them, are generally thorough and they don't just assume and over look stuff. So please take time out and repeatedly review your docs.

You got me wrong, he has to get a Packaged Offer from Post Graduate Diploma towards a Masters degree. He will get CoEs for the both Courses, duration in total will clock 2.6yrs.

He may not be able to get a direct entry into a Masters program, depending on the Sch he finished from. I will advice he do a packaged Offer from Postgraduate Diploma towards Masters. Try that. 2yrs go land.

exactly that's where the problem lies, did your friend knew before hand that the agent is the middle man between him and the school and might go an extra length to cook up issues for her so the school will turn down d offer, please just run away from that agent as simple or use another agent after you might have contacted school about the whole extortion of which you can't afford and tell them your opting for a new agent ( there are schools in aussie apply to any even using an agent in australia just like me, they don't even collect kobo) and hope the agent did not tell your friend of the financial involvement if no just report the agent to school and verily apply for a change of agent- that's how I will handle this if its me ohhhh, just avoid problems

In Addition to Justwise's contribution, ask your friend to make "SURE" the hungry Agent details in not on his/her Visa application forms, on the page: where it's asked that- Do you want the Department to contact you via email or fax? She should put yes and put her email address. The other part where- Do you receive any assistance in filling this form? She should put no and she should also make sure sh didn't indicate any Agent details there.

Also, there is another form(957-advice by a MARA Agent/representative), she should not sign any form authorising any1 to represent her or receive any information on her behalf.

All correspondence regarding her application should be emailed directly to her email. With this, no one even the Minister of Immigration don't know any right/power to mess her Visa application up.

Please house is it possible that an agent can instruct embassy to delay a visa application because my friend agent is treating her that if she applied for visa behind his back that he's going to make sure she got denied unless she applied through him and pay for his guarantee visa charges which is very high that he will send her particulars to the Pretoria that if she applied they will notify him by then he will ask them to deny it that she must pay him to apply for her so I ask is it possible and how she got to know these agent is through the school she applied because the school ask her to apply through an agent. So is it possible

No need to declare any form of Finances, the School has already sorted that out. Focus on the other factors and see how you can reduce the numbers of factors applicable to you as outlined.

Dear Trigger,

SVP applications are assessed by DIBP according to the following risk factors and if four or more risk factors from this list are applicable to the applicant, SVP is rejected.

Risk Factors Assessment

        1. IELTS < 5.5
        2. High Risk Province
        3. Change of Discipline
        4. Gap in Study
        5. Previous Weak Academic History
        6. Bringing Spouse/ Dependants
        7. Previous Qualification is higher than the current applied course

So, study the factors and address your case before you submit your Visa application.

Did you used any Educational Agent or Migration Agent? If no, then understand that 572 Visa (SVP) takes upto 7weeks to process these days with Pretoria, esp if it's an independent application. I will advice you wait for their response, they do a lot of verification processes these days even on SVP, that's y the wait takes sometime longer. The advantages of using Migration or Educational Agents is that the Embassy believes that the agent has scrutinised your application documents in collaboration with the University/College/Tafe before submission. That's y you will find out that application lodged tru the above subject matter takes within 2weeks in Streamline.

Once they are done with the verification processes and found no discrepancies. They will advice you to send them a delay start Letter from your School or a next intake deferment Letter. Hope your program has room for Feb 2016 intake?

Hello house, I need some advice here plz...I submitted my student visa application class 572 SVP on 27th of Oct with Teleperformance Lagos..the application got to Pretoria on 30th same month/week. But ever since then I haven't received any feedback from the embassy...my commencement date as stated on my ecoe is 1st of December and I indicated 28th of this month as my departure date....i mailed them on Monday and I was replied immediately stating that my application is still under process. Iam yet to do my medicals sef.... also waiting for their directive before doing that...today is 19th my departure date is 28th commencement date 1st of december.....i need advice and opinions pls...what step do you think I can take @ this stage?.....Thanks

Get to Australia and notify changes about your passport, you can travel carrying both Passports and your new passport carries your old passport number like this "Previous Passport" and then it still has its own new number.

@bellong it's a new addition which started around may or June this year. If you renew your international passport now, your old number will be printed on your data page. I'm a witness..
