It's not about reverting to old price issue. This party came to kill, steal and destroy. That naira floatation was the worst policy any leader would make in a poor economy as ours where people live below 1$ daily. Tinubu only favoured the rich few with it at the expense of the extremely poor people. A leader who truly loves his people would not do that, after removing subsidy. The purpose of floating the naira has been defeated cos there's still pressure on the naira and the dollar isn't still available as usual. Importers still have to struggle to get fx legitimately.

The entire world was hit by the economic meltdown, people were crying, stocks were falling, business owners were shutting down while some committed suicide due to massive debts they couldn't repay and others were hit by high blood pressure and stroke due to anxiety and shock. But here in Nigeria, we didn't feel an inch of it and world leaders began to ask how Jonathan did it...that's leadership.

Leadership isn't by turn, but by divine arrangement, irrespective of religion and ethnicity. Tinubu desperately used all the tools at his disposal, including lies, intimidation, electoral fraud, propaganda, religious bias, bribery,etc to gain power. Any sane human being should know he's doomed to fail. God doesn't dwell in such a wuruwuru arrangement. Where are those fake alatęnuję pastors predicting milk and honey under Tinubu's administration? What do you mean by 25K ? A truck load of fuel is 45k Liters, that means less than one truck a day? that's not true. The current Dangote capacity is 2,500 trucks a day, multiply it by 45,000 = 112,500,000 liters, subtract 66,000,000 = 46,500,000 surplus daily. You can further verify this online. With Dangote Refinery alone Nigeria is self sufficient, beside, the 66m is NNPC figure, use in defrauding Nigeria with subsidy claims, our actual consumption is less than this.

I meant to say 25 million litrs. While our daily consumption is estimated at 66m ltrs daily. Dangote can't match that. If his refinery can only deliver 52m ltrs daily, there will definitely be a shortfall. Let's wait and see. Though the Dangote refinery is a way forward. We pray for more of such

The crude sold in Naira means less crude in normal exchange for forex or dollar and thus lower forex inflow. But once Dangote starts refining beyond local consumption capacity, which may reduce very drastically if smuggling stops, it means the refined crude will earn more forex than it usually would have in govt hand as raw crude oil because value has been added and it sells for higher. It is still a win on the long run as long govt doesnt make petrol artificially lower than in neighbouring countries.
Heard the FEC is the one dictating final prices and that points to an arrangement where FG bills dangote for crude lower than intl rates just to allow it come out as refined crude product lower than market rates while preserving Dangote flat profit margin. Dangote is now acting a lot like public refineries should under FG on a level playing field.

Unfortunately, every refinery has its production capacity and contrary to your first paragraph, Nigeria's local consumption is estimated at 66m liters daily while dangote's daily pms refining capacity is 25m liters. There's still a huge shortfall. We can't stop importing except those local refineries truly commence refining sooner than later.

So in essence, you know nothing
