Terabyteck:A good reason they always ask you once they see you for the first time....are you Nigerian? If you say yes,.they ask further , are you from Lagos? ![]() |
Lipscomb:You can say that again. Though I'm not a fan of the useless apc and it's members who always take power by force with the help of inec. Let inec repeat the nonsense they did last year in 2027. Igboro maa daru ni. They'd see the anger of the masses from north to south. Has obaseki not betrayed the pdp members whom he ran to for help when seeking a reelection, shuaibu wouldn't have said he'd run for same office. It was Asue that he brought which angered shuaibu cos they had a plan of zoning the governorship to edo central and picking from among those pdp members who gave him the cover which they needed at such a critical time. This is a lesson to all. Never feed your enemy or show empathy when in dire need of help. He'd end up swallowing you up. Obaseki deserved the treatment meted out to him. He was booted out by force cos we knew the election was far from being credible. I don't see them winning the case if challenged in courst because baba awon manipulators is the president of Nigeria. He's bought the judiciary over. |
Steady leader. Despite all the noise from the enemies camp, he remained resilient and unperturbed. That's the quality of a good leader. A good example to all |
INTEGRITYA1:You already know the answer. In case you still don't, ask NNPCL for being a middleman man to cover up their subsidy fraud. If they can allow dangote to sell to the market direct, the nnpc office will be set ablaze by Nigerians within 24 hrs for defrauding Nigerians for ages. Cos dangote petrol will be way cheaper, despite still using the crude he bought from America. Dangote is only coming out to say this cos NNPCL is saying he cannot meet up the daily local consumption, which is a blatant lie. Dangote presented figures of trucks that have loaded in 24hrs. He said he can even supply more than enough. Nigerian politicians and those defending them are the Nigerian enemies. They wanted to frustrate this man out at all cost, cos of their selfish interest and that's why they're saying they'd apppont 3 oil marketers to import petrol to complement Dangote's supply, the decision which angered dangote, after they've succeeded in dictating his petrol price. I pray God keeps exposing the enemies of this country as they reel out more of their heinous plans. Amen! |
We already know. We have greedy people in government. Had dangote been allowed to sell direct to the market, subsidy fraud of the NNPCL and their sharp practices would have been uncovered. |
Racoon:Their foolishness is pro max. At times animals act more wisely than human beings. Not that some people don't know what's right but because of their selfish interests which always override the interest of the masses they, tend to act without sense. Did the constituency they belong told them to defect? NO! Did they consult those who voted them into those positions before breaking away? NO! That's why Nigeria can never move forward, unless politicians truly change |
I hope Atiku is seeing this |
Even tinubu wears makeups lol. Allow baba look natural and you'd know his real age ![]() |
frog12:Did you read my post well? Where was Asue when those obaseki met in the pdp after oshiomohle-led apc delegate screened him out of the race? Those he met in the pdp already had a governorship candidate, who's from edo central. Obaseki begged him to allow him run and he'd hand over power to him after his tenure. The pdp stalwarts in edo begged this man and he stepped aside. That would have been the pdp candidate's opportunity to run and win cos obaseki had been screend out of the race already as an apc candidate and replaced by pastor ize iyamu. Why not fulfil his promise? Why pick asue who wasn't in the picture, from nowhere? That's greed and every Nigerian politician is guilty of same offence. They need to be dealt with cos masses aren't mumu. I'm not a fan of the apc and I dislike Tinubu's style of politics, FYI. |
Akinboboz: . That's what it is. I won't join anybody in hunger protest in this country again. By the way, I like the way obaseki's candidate was humbled. You don't faulter on agreement. Instead of picking his successor from among the pdp members who.rescued him duting his 2nd term bid, he went and picked a newcomer. That's betrayal. People were just attacking shaibu for nothing cos he left the pdp. Shaibu didn't have any interest in running for that position in the first place. He's a great politician. He met with obaseki and begged him to fulfill the agreement with the pdp members that they met on ground, those who rescued them at the time they needed them the most. One of the agreement was that the next governor must come from edo central and must be from among them cos they had already zoned their ticket to that region before obaseki came and the candidate stepped aside. Instead, he went and brought asue ighodalo. At that point, shaibu was left with no option than challenge his decision and contest for the same office. |
They should go and sit down. For the first time, I like what's happening right now. Politicians are seen to be more powerful than God in this country. They go their own way once they get to power to do and undo without considering the opinion of the masses who put them there. I condemned how obaseki treated shuaibu, someone who's a grassroots politician and supported you all through the journey, even jettisoned his loyalty to his political mentor, in person of Oshiomohle. I have this man's number and I do call, just to tell him to listen to what the people are saying. He was my former client when he was still heading his company, afrinvest at ikoyi. He'd not pick my calls, he'd read my WhatsApp message and leave no words. As if that wasn't enough, you ran to the pdp to contest and they gave you their backing, even asked the then candidate to step aside and allow you run under their ticket. You guys had an agreement which you didn't keep to, in the end. There are ways to appease your deputy, even if he's insisting on running for governorship and he'd listen. What obaseki did to that man was very bad and I hope politicians are already learning from this. Asue was brought up from nowhere, instead of picking his successor from among the pdp members he met in the party. Our politicians are so greedy. What's happening in edo right now will definitely befall other politicians, regardless of the party they belong to. In as much as I'd have wanted the pdp to retain edo in view of the way the apc has messed up our economy at the federal level. May the new governor's tenure witness peace and prosperity in Edo. God bless Nigeria. |
Jorussia:Leave Egor alone. I knew the margin won't be so wide cos of the edo central fight and the federal might. Look at the difference in Egor, it won't do any magic in the over 30k leading votes of the pdp. |
senatordave1:They still won't meet up. See the margin on the irev portal. I no tell you? I've been reading your posts here and there. Better get a good job and leave politics for politicians ![]() |
LegendHero:Jittery, how? Abi They're watching with an eagle eye? They already have the authentic, certified and signed results by every party member at the polls already in their hands. They know apc can reprat what they did last year. They can't be trusted one inch. PDP has won this election already. Argue later. Like I said days back, this is the worst time for the apc to contest any major election in the country. Except they redeem their image, the trend will continue till 2027 and beyond. The streets aren't smiling at all. |
press9jatv:As expected |
press9jatv:I was expecting a landslide win for the APC in Edo north. Pdp really proves they're still relevant despite the fed might enjoyed by then. The margin is so narrow in most places. Edo north is the apc's strongholds |
aaking:Say it loud! |
ClearFlair:Nigerians are so easily deceived. We mostly act like illiterates. Imagine tinubu saying yesterday to some ex-presiding officers at the national assembly that he's not in power to seek money but to work. Whereas, your company hitech where your son was appointed a director after you stepped aside to contest as our constitution demands, was awarded the most part of the lagos calabar highway project That's not all, the accusing fingers of the Malta blending facility are all pointed at you. Oando which you owned and operated by proxy is also there. Yet, some people will still believe his lies.. |
But why did you award the large portion of lagos calabar coastal road project to your company, hitech where your son is a director, to oversee the affairs of the company the moment you stepped aside to take the number one citizen job? Who owns oando and the disputed blending faculty in Malta? Who's the member of your economic team accused of fraud in the oil and gas sector working for? When i hinted people here that oando had bought agip over, your illiterate supporterstook swipeat me, saying nothing like that and now, its no longer news, me know say you be baba awon oniro before. Na your followers who have been hypnotised by your lies I dey pity |
Melagros:True . Yorubas aren't this wicked. Tinubu is just a bad man. |
Racoon:Not even by juju will APC win edo. Argue later |
175:Don't mind them..if anyone enters your house unauthorized in America, they believe they believe they want to attack them. Imagine the way some people talk here in response to what she said? America can't stop the use of gun. They can only curb gun violence by amending the law. You must have strong proof that you'd not abuse gun before licence is given, that's what the dems are planning, not absolute eradication of use of gun. |
WritterNg:That's the next president Pls attack me later , not now |
SamaritanGirl:How? |
kedeojo:Hayden may have been existing for donkey years for all i care. You can keep the insult to yourself. The expansion of the heyden outlets since dapo took office is a proof they're all using tax payers money to expand their business. I knew when he moved his office to inside ikeja GRA with nothing happening there for years so,I don't need your stories. A slave will always be a slave, no matter what |
Political businessmen dem. If I say vote them out now, I'd offend their slaves. Dapo Abiodun owns Hayden petroleum marketing co. They use state funds to boost their businesses. I wonder why their slaves are so happy being slaves. How can someone be using the money that is meant for the development of your state to boost his business and you'd still be worshipping him after.giving you 2k? Your wife will be groaning at labour but no equipment to use on her. They'd say they'd carry out a C/S in her but government hospital won't save her and her baby cos there's no equipment despite voting billions of naira of taxpayers money on Healthcare. You'd now land her in a private hospital where you'd be asked to deposit 500k and you'd now be cursing your political mentors. No be mumu be dat? Meanwhile he's given you 2k to shut your mouth during election. Can you run to him to pay the bill? Bigotry will continue to hurt many in this country. If politicians want to do business, there's no point contesting any elective position under the guise of serving their people. They should continue doing their business and allow those who truly want to serve to contest. I always blame the electorate who are always at the receiving end. |
Omoawoke:Your last paragraph says it all. They really need to call themselves to order. Recently, I read a story in which they were asking Nigerian ladies to stop coming to the home office in the UK to report their husband. It's really shameful. Western ladies lack cultural values, agreed. You don't blame them cos it's the environment in which they grew up that caused it. But when you hear an American lady who married a Nigerian saying Nigeria is such a place to be and she loves our culture, you see her wearing our traditional dresses and says she doesn't want to go back, you'd be wondering if she's been charmed...far from it. What she's simply saying is...so there could be a place where such a nice culture as this exists? Her body language will tell you she's grabbed something which has been missing in her natural self from birth Let me shock you with something. There are a lot of American envoys and embassy staff, who had refused to go back after their term. Dem full abuja. Many of them have bought houses and naturalised codedly. They realy love to live here cos of our culture. I don't want to mention names to protect them. If you're relocating to Nigeria, they'd not hesitate to relocate with you, especially if they've visited once, before saying you're relocating back home..she'd even be the one to hurry you up. There's this lady called queen aneeva aneeva, who is one of king sunny ade's wives. She's American. She followed him to Nigeria once and went back to pack her things. She said she's found a new home and country. Now, she has a wearable art gallery at lekki. I mentioned her because she's in showbiz. Same applies to their male counterparts. On the contrary, a cultured Nigerian lady would get abroad and start misbehaving. The good husband once upon a time suddenly becomes bad to them. This has to change else, they'd be destroying their homes and future of their kids unknowingly. |
Biodun556:NNPCL of course Were they not same people who said his diesel was fake? His diesel isn't substandard anymore and now, his fuel supply not enough after they've chosed to dictate selling price and despite dangote showing the figures of liters lifted so far to the entire puclic. They know they're losing heavily from the subsidy fraud so they want to continue importing. That's why they say they're are importing. NNPC is FG and vice versa |
True. I know a number of them. You can never know the real character of your wife until after she relocates with you overseas. Many of them copy the western ladies who don't even have a culture, those who have children like dogs for several men. They always don't enjoy a happy home. No single mum I met ever told me they're living happily as single mums. There's one of them, whose children always say they miss their dad and they'd like to see him. She always got angry hearing this. One day she agreed to take them to a meeting point with her ex. On getting to that place, she kept a distance and asked the children to go see their dad briefly and come back. She actually timed the meeting. When the time was almost up, she faced the wall and started crying uncontrollably cos of the bond between the children and their dad. They were gisting, cracking jokes and laughing aloud. Instead of 2 hours, these children spent 5 good hours with their dad. They didn't feel like leaving. I told her to reconcile and seek a reunion but she's still doing shakara. She's a very successful nurse in a major hospital on 3rd avenue in NY. I won't mention the hospital. Whoever knows that place would know the hospital I'm talking about, built with red bricks with many floors. The man had moved on. As an aeronautical engineer, he's not doing badly too at Boeing. He got that job 1 year after the woman chased him out and took custody of the children. Amazingly, he's still single. I guess he's taking his time cos of the horrible experience |
Can I hear someone say...Tinubuuuuul ![]() That's the first propaganda message we heard from the Nigeria Stock Exchange immediately after he reeled out that heinous policy of floating the naira. Importers and businesses are even struggling to get fx now than they were doing before the policy so, the purpose has since been defeated. Nigeria was said to be giants of africa yet, our per capita income didn't reflect this. That policy is anti-SME, it's anti people. Whenever Tinubu's supporters say, people should endure the hardship because Nigerians would soon enjoy, just the way their lying leaders always reassure them, I always wonder if they were living in the moon when they said same to us during the Buhari's administration. Now is even far worse than then. |
What's wrong with our men? This is becoming embarrassing. Earlier today I read of a Nigerian in the UK who impregnated his wife, his wife's mum and another blood relation of his wife. |
Dreal1247:But he's hiding the truth about himself. You don't pity such a liar |
