Not true. AD was a pan yoruba party which many believed was a party riddled with tribalism. I fell for the tricks of our leaders and voted falae in obj's 1st term. Are you saying people like oyinlola, fayose,olusegun agagu, mimiko, ladoja among others were fulani or ibo? There were yorubas who were founding fathers of the pdp so, it was never seen as a party from other parts of the country at all. Rather, the leaders we had preached that to us but we were wiser 4 years later by voting obj

I've learned a lot about the Nigeria's political terrain especially as touching pa awo and Jonathan. About Awo's mistakes because he was pan yoruba/west in nature. Had he gone to the north and picked his running mate, his victory would have been certain. Nobody cheated awo, he caused himself the defeat. The political arithmetic after the votes were cast didn't favour him. I voted in that election as an under-aged. They just came to our house and packed all of us to a polling station built with iron sheets then, to vote. Many of us voted twice sef and still, he lost by way of what I'd call the political arithmetic as enshrined in the electoral law. They were just castigating pa Richard akinjide for nothing. On Jonathan, he permitted a lot of impermissible in his government. Those he ought to have jailed for disrupting his government through protests, he ignored and they kept distracting him. Nobody dared do such to obj, not even terrorists and their sponsors. Had he jailed them back then, he'd have done 2nd term and Nigeria wouldn't have been in a mess today cos he really worked and his economic team was solid.

Yes and that's why gullible minds should stop being tribalistic. I used to be one of the tribalists but I quickly realised it would only make Nigeria's situation get worse. Ibos saved this man twice but they say they're the most-tribalistic tribe in Nigeria when every sane being knows the truth.

After voting falae in 1999, I told myself I'd not be lured into tribalism again and my voting pattern had changed ever since. Since the return of democracy in 1999, no leader, dead or alive had done half of what obj had done as president. Records are there. He built power plants which the apc cant even sustain today. There's blackout nationwide as we speak. Tinubu has returned Nigeria to 1918 when there was no electricity in Nigeria. All they're after is 2027 so they can keep looking.

OK. But not in lekki phase 1. A plot of land there is around 500m so, how much do you think you'd need to build a house in such an area?. If you talk of lekki phase 2 or ibeju-lekki, area, all na still lekki, you can build even up to 6 duplexes with the 4bn naira. There's a building on a plot of land which my friend is in charge of, after gtbank lekki phase one that sells for 1.2bn naira. The owner has refused to remove one naira from it

I'm not doubting this story. It happened to someone I know very closely about 18 years ago. He was deported from the US. The CBP said his visit was suspicious as his destination was different from the airline ticket and hotel reservations he was holding. He was detained in a cold cell and deported 2 days later.

Luckily for him, he got a schooling visa to one of the leading EU countries, now applied for a vacation as a student on an exchange programme. His visa was approved and he's been to USA like 5 times now. He lives and works in that European country now.

Don't give up bro. I was younger when I founded my company. You too can rise, just believe there's a reason for everything. Your story showed you're a child of God. He'll restore you and give you a sense of direction .

Yes, you heard me.right. Do your research 4bn naira isn't up to 2.9m USD. Check out the cost of a plot of land at lekki phase one. To acquire land to build a university or poly, you'd need several hectares of land.

Exactly. That's the same way that Lagos popular influencer's death was linked to a hospital recently, not knowing the hospital had earlier objected to the procedure due to the 2 bbl she had already done elsewhere before then.
After her insistence, they made her sign a consent form with 2 witnesses before she went under the knife which eventually took her life.
That hospital (name withheld ) can't be blamed for whatever that had happened cos proofs were there. I remember one Dr Olaleye who was wrongly accused of rape by his wife and mother inlaw out of bitterness. Dr Olaleye was later set free after winning the case. The wife wasnt feeling comfortable seeing the celebs around him, those he was using to promote his cancer-free campaign.

I'm not siding this Dr but people shouldn't castigate him yet.

Why are we still creating polytechnics in 2026? I thought we all knew HND education isn't worth it and it's better to shift attention to technical schools and then universities? I think education at the polytechnic level has proven to be a tool for career discrimination, and there's no single HND graduate who hasn't experienced this.

4bn can't even set up a university's faculty in the first place. It would have been meaningful when dollar traded for less than 500 naira before he came and spoilt everything in 2023. Even the subsidy proceeds, we no see. Ask them how much they've saved so far and stories will start.

They keep telling their gullible supporters that naira rose to over 1,350 today because the federal government had stopped saving the naira with dollars. But by the time you asked them why cfa, the Benin republic currency that used to be among the worthless currencies in africa had miraculously met the naira and left it very far behind, they keep quiet. They think everyone is as mumu as they and their supporters are.

That 4bn naira will only buy 2 or 3 duplexes in lekki phase 1. What an elephant and deceitful project. Smh!

Hello my people. Please,I submitted a group application for a family of 3 on January 30 , 2026. The only person that needed biometrics did it on February 5 or so . My self & hubby have been to Canada in the last 10 years. Aside the update on our biometrics, it appears nothing is being done on our application . It's going to 2 months now ..I thought they will use Can + for us .
Please, who else is experiencing this ..

Based on my experience, can+ only works if you've been to both the US and/or Canada and without overstaying, not Canada only. Again, you've added an applicant who had never been to Canada in this application so, long processing time is expected. I don't envisage any issue on your renewal though,only that processing could be delayed for up to 4 months or even more so, take a chill pill.
