Judolisco:I don waka for 2am before for lagos sef not once. We had a delayed flight in Abuja one evening.. aero messed up. We had spent barely 25 minutes in the air when the pilot suddenly came out to address us, that there was a technicali issue. It was one of their propeller aircrafts. He said we'd have to fly back to Abuja to fix the problem. On getting to abuja, the problem was resolved but a lot of passengers on board said they wouldn't want to risk flying the plane to lagos, they went straight to the town. When we were about taking off, the engine shut down about 2 minutes after starting it. That's why passengers actually disembarked and left the tarmac. They came to tell us that they needed to refuel. We now left Abuja around 12:45am. I still met people on the road as I was driving home on arrival in lagos |
Lift Him Up! May his soul R.I.P. He came to our church around 2016 in Lagos. He wasn't looking 70 back then. |
Judolisco:That's right. Though it was accepted majorly in the northern universities |
Judolisco:Several, in my time. Unilorin,OAU,UI,Lag among others. I left the system decades ago, I'm no more current in that field, that was why I asked. |
Oyebanji will never stop tasking . Lack of strong opposition is retarding ekiti's development. Taking over governance from him would have been so easy due to his poor performance. |
Wickedtruths:NECO candidates rarely meet up . Till today I no check my son's neco after tearing waec |
Are they accepting their results in the universities now? |
Noblechykk:Did linda Ikeji not say worst things? She carry feminism for head like woman's business and a lot of women were following her gullibly. Today, she's a mother of a handsome boy. |
Dem don start again. Irọ pọ. Where's the result of the 1st dubai mou, the first one signed in qatar nko? Mtcheew. I thought Nigeria had grown past all these deceits. As usual, sycophants will soon flood this thread drooling over this. |
franvincoop:Hmm..all I see is tribalism in your post. Quite obvious. You almost vent your anger on me sef. Easy ooh! Smh! Saying kwakwanso is a featherweight politician is a proof you know nothing about politics and has made me limit my response to you. His candidate sent the ruling party apc packing in Kano yet, he's featherweight abi? Continue. The Kano vote alone will swallow what comes from up to 4 states in the south. The game is on. |
richiemcgold:In the best interest of Nigeria, yes! Atiku needs to do this. His terms are gone too. He can still be relevant cos Obi is his boy. The manner in which northern youths especially in the core north have been agitating for Obi's candidacy recently has been unprecedented. They soon realised politics of old doesn't seem to work anymore. As it stands,.Obi is the only one who can defeat Tinubu. We never believed he lost in 2023, only apc supporters did, despite the obvious. His votes were reduced to size, while atiku's were left untouched, to avoid troubles. The inec guy was his tribesman. Tinubu cant try what he did in 2023 this time around and trump had also warned him...those who knew better than we did. |
Wise man . Only Obi can challenge tinubu and win. He's got the card in his hands. Man of the people. Atiku won't get 20% of what he got in 2023 , should he try his luck once again. Obi's supporters have never reduced in number rather, they're increasing. The masses are his constituencies . Obi/Kwakwanso will seal the deal. Imagine Tinubu's praise-singers saying kwakwanso can't be his running mate. They're definitely not mature politically. Biden factor will play out next year, should Atiku eat his humble pie. |
cyberbro:Ogun should have it then, if boundaries commission has ceded it to them. |
cyberbro:Alaska and Hawaii are different scenarios. They're both far from the US, though both states are US territory. Alaska used to be Russian territory before the US acquired it from them The national boundaries commission should wade into this matter and give the land to Ondo. The island is even closer to Ondo than it is to Ogun.Look at the map very closely. |
Rossychy:Common sense . The map says it all |
duduade:Terrible ! Most of them are middle-aged. Once you commit a single offence it must be documented under your profile which is accessible everywhere, and if such persons do not have a green card under this regime and they're caught by the ICE, they must find one reason for convicting them, either by quoting one or all the offences committed and ensure such persons are deported. Not all DUIs for instance are major offences. Some could be minor and inevitable and will be documented as DUI. Once you exceed a certain speed limit, they document it. They always assume you can't be in a right frame of mind and commit such offences. That said, I took 2 of my friends to America almost a decade ago. I told one of them who was loyal to me to not buy a car yet, to avoid DUI because such offences could determine the outcome of his green card application and he obliged. Today, he's a green card holder with 10-year validity while the other one had got like 2 DUIs charge, one of which ended in court. Today, he's got nothing and if trump's stoppage of the AOS for Nigerian nationals is anything to go by, he'll soon be out of status and once this happens, anything can happen if caught by the ICE. I'm not surprised to see our people's names topping the list. As soon as they arrive in the US,they'd be living large, attending parties, taking pictures and be spending heavily on birthday parties meanwhile, time waits for nobody. You see them driving expensive cars, etc. Whereas, an ibo man will start his AOS as soon as he enters, saving everything he has towards it. I've been visiting America for over 2 decades now so it's what I knew very well. As a detribalised Nigerian, I dont spare any tribe when wielding the stick and that's why some of my people hate me. I dare anyone to counter my narrative above. I mentored one ibo guy I met here on nairaland under travel section. The moment he got his us visa I told him not to dull himself. He applied for asylum under trump before he was out of status and it was granted under biden. Today, he's a nurse doing well. He didnt buy a pin whilst the process was ongoing. He spent his penny on schooling too. Look at those caught very well, they mostly should be in their 50s, meaning they've lived there for years and without papers. Some started when it was already too late and never invested in Nigeria. Congrats to those who had invested. They'd be fine when they get home, if deported. I hope they can appeal and still jelọ |
In all their baldersash, a whole FMC hospital(secondary facility fa) lost a patient who was still conscious on arrival to snake bite? Are they trying to rubbish the claim by those who heard them say they didnt have the anti snake venom injection on arrival? They were just beating about the bush. This has confirmed my several stances on the state of federal institutions nationwide. They're mostly glorified hospitals with nothing to care for patients in the event of emergencies. Most doctors have relocated overseas yet, awon alailẹri okan will be showering praises on this failed apc-led administration. Eni to ku, tie lo gbe ni Nigeria. The trend continues. No hospital will ever own up in Nigeria in a situation like this. One thing is real, karma. |
Consider a change of location asap. |
Natbrowny:Anyone who can expel demon from a human being is an exorcist. A pastor can be said to be one so, they're the same. Whenever a man of God expels demon out of a member during a deliverance session, he's doing the work of an exorcist. |
In the end, everyone will trace their steps back to God. There are strange illness that can't be cured by any medication but only prayer cum deliverance can. |
Abi after a thorough body rejuvenation. Only tinubu will spend days outside in the name of state's visit. LOL |
I'm not surprised. End time tinz |
This is my honest advice to the ibos, the tribe i love so much as mine as a detribalised Nigerian. Go and develop your region, move your investments home and let other regions be coming to you to buy. Let's see if you'd not grow economically. Like I've always said, there are over 5m ibos living in lagos alone and abuja is next. That's huge. Can someone tell me of a street in lagos where there's no ibo shop? Move your pharmaceuticals, hospitality, transport, banking head quarters to the east and empty alaba market and ladipo market, move them to Anambra and see what would happe. You contribute greatly, not only to the SW vat but also to all the states where you're sizeable in mumber. 70% of Abuja hotels are owned by you guys. You own a lot here in lagos too. Vat comes from.all these areas. |
lawani:Ibos in the south west are pretty much, especially in lagos.they're over 5m in population. Yorubas are scanty in the east. We're only much in the north and ibos are there too. I'm very close to them. As a matter of fact my wife just returned from Imo today though shes also yoruba. Since I've been going there, I rarely see a yoruba man or woman and that's not to say they're no Yorubas resident there, maybe civil servants. The day I saw my sister selling agbo in ihiala, I felt at home cos I didn't let her go. I told her I sighted my tribeswoman today and she started laughing. Come to lagos. Hardly would you see a street where ibos aren't resident or own a shop. These people contribute to the VAT from our region. Its not same scenario in the east. Should they go to their region to live and develop there, they'd generate much more revenues. Imagine moving the hqs of the likes of Diamond bank, UBA, Zenith, Fidelity etc to the east and their staff follow them. Im not talking of the likes of Emzor, Elbe,Orange Drugs, nestoil, oilserv etc. Move the entire alaba and ladipo autoparts, building materials market at odunade/coker to Anambra and we go there to buy from them. They'd come second with ease. South south only has oil and non oil revenues far surpass what Nigeria get from oil. While we will maintain the lead, they'd come second and closely. Even the apapa wharf are under their control in terms of importation. |
VEE2010:Don't mind the sycophants. Let's see what happens before election. Obj did much better. Subsidy was being paid while obj was in office yet, he built our foreign reserves from the scratch. At that figure did tinubu meet it? That's a question they'd not want anyone to ask. |
Obj performed much better. From 4bn to 43 bn that's massive |
gracealonev:What a wise submission. I'm also from same region. Those posting the news repeatedly know what they're doing. They're the same sycophantic beings we've been talking about . Our region houses the corporates HQs of many establishments. That's not all, those contributors aren't all from our region. You can imagine the ibos who are leading in pharmaceuticals, hospitality, banking, transportation, aviation, etc all move their corporate hqs to the south east, what would you think would have happened? Unfortunately, they dont know how much they're harming their region economically by citing industries outside their domain. We won't do that as a people. They could have come 2nd after the south west but the entire SW revenue would be reduced to half. With this move, their region would have received much more allocation than what's seen on the newspost |
JohnAOne:Sleep mood remains active. Our leaders and those following them like mumu are to blame. |
So, e no fit waka commot? Who hold am down? |
Obidients are the sensible portions/categories of the populace. The rest are sycophants, ignorant and gullible souls who prefer to maintain the status quo |
No wonder the woman insisted on being tried in the UK when the call for her extradition toned high, as she could be killed on entering Nigeria over her revelations. I don't trust these politicians one beat. They're in the pdp today, apc tomorrow and another day, you find them in the ADC.I pity those flexing their muscles over them for nothing |
TheStoriesOfMan:Im telling you. If he had said the jacket was too heavy on him as he wasn't feeling too comfortable as a result of the severe weather, it would have made sense. To say I be tinubu eeh, I go sack am once I return. The statement looks like mockery to me. Anyway, his followers will take that cos they like being lied to. |
