An old man or woman in Ekiti still eats same amount of pounded yam he's been eating since he was young, nothing has changed. He still treks kms to and from his farm daily, burns calories and sweats like no man's business as he works in his farmland. He gets to farm, plucks fresh vegetables, even plucks the traditional pepper that acts as a detox with lots of health benefits, grinds it and adds the vegetable with locust beans, no seasonings, only salt is added. He catches rodents or bush meat eating his farm produce and eats it fresh. He goes to the swampy area of the farm,cuts the cane sugar and eats almost a whole stick under a cool environment where he inhales fresh oxygenated air, free from free radicals. He drinks water at the streams, water that has travelled kms or those coming from underneath the rocks which had swept off calcium and magnesium as it travels along its course, which are vital to the body. Many of them walk straight even in old age without using a stick.
