dederocs:Come to Alimosho and see aworis ride okada. Aworis are core lagosians too. So,where do you want to send them...Igando,ijegun,ijeododo in same Lagos or outside their state? |
Guestmale:In the Nigerian context the judiciary are. |
maiunguwar:Yorubas, hausa, ibo and other tribes do this business in lagos. Before 2027 election, they'd allow them cos of election as usual. I don't know why Nigeria's version of humans are different from others globally. They easily forget the past, love suffering and smiling |
It would be hard to dethrone him. Decorum and the rule of law had left Nigeria since May, 2023 |
lionshare:Let me start from your last paragraph. Who controls the AG? Who's in charge of the judiciary? If you can answer the 2 questions from the Nigerian context without bias, then it's fine. Now on the supplementary budget, you don't seem to get the message clearly. The supplementary budget has nothing to do with payment of subsidy to enrich the rich further. The supplementary budget i was talking about was provide palliatives for the hardest-hit section of the society by the removal of the subsidy which the president could have done. He could borrow money later(as he's done multiple times) to address it. Palliatives such as purchase of buses for all states, provision of drugs and equipment into hospltals, empowering the artisans financially and elderly, reduction of school fees in public schools, etc, could have been taken care of, by the supplementary budget but he simply looked the other way. Despite promising palliatives to be put in place in a matter of months, nothing has been done, 2 years after. Even if he chooses not to borrow to take care of budget deficit, what happens to the proceeds from the subsidy from 2023 till today? Do you and I know what had been recovered so far....? You may tell us, if you do |
Chukwudi4naija:You are sensible with your post. The supplementary budget would have been able to dowse the economic tension a great deal cos he had the opportunity and right to raise it as president. After all, he raised a supplementary budget in other areas too. That shows the height of insensitivity to the sufferings of the masses and act of wickedness. The supplementary budget would have taken care of the palliatives for subsidy that was removed. How can a president promise palliatives on resumption on an empty budget? Since 2023, he's not revisited that side. Like I've always said, democracy is primarily set up for the masses. Call a prado jeep any amount, the rich can always afford it in any economic situation. The man has proven several times he's not for the masses. See the osun state LG allocation he's been withholding for 7 months now. Thanks to the adeleke family who have been paying them salary steadily from their pocket. He wanted osun to boil but this never happened. I hope Nigerians are seeing what's happening. If those who voted him dare make same mistake again, they'd see the version 2 of the ongoing economic woes |
Ezmans:Yea buhari did before he left office. It wasnt part of the 2023 budgetary provisions. |
Buhari was a good man and I never regretted voting him in 2015. He was a father indeed. Even when it was deemed necessary to sanction some states not ruled by the apc and declare a state of emergency, he never did so. He never withheld any state's LG allocation unlike what tinubu is doing in osun and all the LG workers are at the mercy of the adeleke family who have been paying the Osun LG salary for 7 months now and without making noise over it. How can you withhold a state's funds and suffer the masses cos of your political ambition? Isn't that wickedness? Buhari and tinubu always fell out on key political and economic issues and the reason they didn't get along throughout his 8 years administration and Buhari's actions were geared towards the love for the masses. I also remember him settling the oil-rich state which gave wike the opportunity to do a lot of projects in rivers. He didnt withhold the funds. When buhari came to lagos to commission the Ayinke House and the newly rehabilitated airport road which Tinubu's firm constructed,I was there as a sub contractor inside lasuth but tinubu was absent. Buhari came to commission dangote refinery but tinubu left the country ahead of his visit. We've not missed Buhari yet. We will miss him more in the next 2 years. |
dawnomike: I hope they listen. It will be like a movie the day they show them a lab result of testing positive. They should go to UCH and see fresh-looking chaps waiting for their ARVs. E no dey show for face at aaaaal. Now that Trump has even scrapped USAID, it will be difficult for victims to assess subsidised ARVs. Na pesin wey don chop belle full go fit afford am for pharmacy shops henceforth, cos the last batch of subsidised of ARVs don dey finish now. So, why take the risk? OP, you forgot to mention FACCA,SFH,APIN/PEPFAR. I supplied them immune-based drugs back in the days. That was where I started my entrepreneurial life. |
kollingz:This was exactly what I told my son this evening and he got emotional . I be realist. I prefer south africa to these super chickens to rep africa. Should these guys rep us and we face Italy or Argentina by mistake, we go chop dozen goals. Everyone wanted to score, like the way secondary school students do on the field. A set of irresponsible guys, only known for fashion |
Nchoje34:Where did you sweep the statement he made before the unfortunate death that if he dies, nairamaly should be held responsible with his friend...under the carpet? Allow God to do justice, not you and Im sure He will. |
BannedUser:Japanese too. I have 2 of them as friends. They're married but without any plans of having kids. They'd face a severe ageing population in near future, like Europe is doing right now |
Yes, our people, after fasting and praying before getting their visa will be talking ill of God and men of God back home, all because they're no more hungry and they can now see small change to put in their pocket. To them, they've seen comfort. Na by salary dem dey make am? There are a lot of them who even say God doesn't exist whereas same God helped them fight their ancestral war when they were in dire need of that Visa breakthrough. Everyone should tell Rotimi Daniels, aka awikonko that America is more religous than Nigeria and with much more number of churches that here in Nigeria. I just pity those he's leading astray all in the name of isęse. By the time the devil is through with them,, they'd sing horror music |
Obi this, obi that...haba! Make una leave this man alone nah ![]() |
Is uncle Doherty we want this time. Your quick run to join ADC was burned out of desperation. Go and rest jare. Let's join hands together and elect Obi as president. You may be picked to serve as a minister from lagos. |
This one na okete naw. Okete ati ọbę ila pelu iyan to gbona felifeli |
mastermaestro:You can say that again. The cost is always huge, what's supposed to be a free consultation with baba God. Believers don't know what they are blessed with |
EmmyMaestro:is this TemplarLandry 2nd moniker abi you just copied his style? |
A good reason prayer is needed when dealing with anything in life. God would have spoken and caution would have been taken. Only wise people seek God |
anonimi:Hahahahahaha. In life, there are lessons nobody would teach you...you teach yourself, even without being coerced. Everybody will learn by force, especially those bigots. Me I don see these coming and I shouted enough. What did i get in return? Unprintable names! |
treesun:APC supporters are being given scholarships nationwide to study up to any level. Please tell them ooo. |
Starhearts:No be only upper iweka, na obalende. Enough said |
Politics. That's all am seeing. Uzodinma weldone ooooooooo. Your era will soon pass, both as party and position in Nigeria |
As if tinubu cares....the primary duty of a president is to protect lives and property, others are secondary and if he's failed in this, he's failed in all because a secure environment is where peace and progress can thrive. Na lagos dey fear me now. At each junction, you see able-bodied youths playing ludo, snookers, draught from morning till night every blessed day, begging for 1k to feed. Most of them are artisans but no job. May God not allow them to turn criminals cos the idle hand is the devil's workshop. Something urgently needs to be done to address this. When we say vote wisely, its never a statement made out of sentiments. The masses bear the brunt 💯 . They can afford to run away, or hire the best security to guide them and their family. If I feel my biological brother isn't fit for a political position, for the sake of the masses who are supposed to be beneficiaries of democracy, I'd not vote him. We won't stop running to the west to seek shelter and living because this is what's obtainable there(merit over sentiments). |
I'm a fan of Davido but the man's right. See davido's suit like say na one quack sew am. The whole arrangement wasnt impressive to say the least. |
According to Ribadu,Nigeria is now safe and people can now travel from Abuja to Kaduna, including ministers. This isn't about politics, tinubu isn't doing well on security. I travelled from Benin to Ore to pass the night so we could leave the following day and get to lagos early. Around 7pm,the Benin ore expressway was so dry, as if there was war in the country. No single police on the road, no single army at their base on the expressway, everywhere looked so deserted, the road that used to be busy even till midnight with travellers. I can never risk that again in my life. I had not driven on that road in a long time I almost vomitted my heart ,due to fear. Things have really changed |
CaptainFM1:Don't mind them bigot. He thinks its a family affair |
Baawaa:Is he God? Let him have his plan while God has His. After all, Jonathan too did, but what happened in the end? Orubebe sef shock😲 Tinubu can't spend half of what Jonathan spent cos during his tenure, there was so much to throw away in 2014/2015 by GEJ. It will be tough for Tinubu this time, especially now that his party members who knew about, and participated in the electoral fraud that elected him had left the party. |
Let's do justice to this debate by answering the following questions: 1, Which region is hardest-hit by Cholera outbreak in history? 2, Which region is always plagued by highest cases of malnutrition in Nigeria? If anyone in the north can honestly respond to the above? The debate will be put to a permanent close |
Please go to Abraham adesanya and all the estates near the manor house where you have the VFS(visa fast-track sercive)Centre and do the same. Epidemics linger, should they fail to do so now! |
iwaeda:They're illiterate and I've since stopped tackling them. Pls do the same. Its not worth the effort |
Amudeneogu:Nope. Its US I wonder why some Nigerians always refer usa as a less-religious nation when abusing their country Nigeria, despite the obvious. If you visit Joyce Meyer ministries alone youd count over hundred thousand congregation each Sunday. Why won't God keep blessing them? The European countries you mentioned are majorly the present day Americans. Trump's family emigrated from Europe. They called the US a new world. If you enter America today, each state is identifiable with the nation in Europe from which they emigrated to America to live and their generations remain till today. That doesn't mean there are no churches in Europe . By the time you mention top 20, I'm sure European countries would be among. Remember population plays a major role too check the population of the top 10 nations above. Most European nations are less populated than lagos alone |
