These are supposed to be leading developed nations in the world due to Christ's presence but Nigeria lost its position due to corruption and religious extremism. God have mercy |
ayoolataiwo:Better be careful, before they begin calling you either ibo or omo ale. Thats how far they can go, promoting their insanity. |
Bsssss:Your points are so valid. Same applies to my Church, the Christ Apostolic Church. The moment God called Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, none of his children took over the church affair. His wife didn't even near any of the leadership roles. Today, it's a different ball game. God owns the church and not man. I don't want to mention denominations where church leadership had been made family affairs today. They know themselves. Had God not lifted the founder, would they have been so relevant? If they dont hand over to one of the children, they'd hand over to the wife. Church has become a business empire. God isn't a respecter of man. Hes God of all generations. Imagine Jesus' family controlling the affairs of Christians globally. God owns everything. We're all Jesus' family members, those who believe in Him and are called by His name. Happy Sunday all. |
Nothing must be wasted. Even the Ghana must go bag wey dem take pack ęja kika, gaari, ęka, egusi, go abroad, dem still take am sew clothe |
MadamExcellency:If he didn't score at the prelims, how would they have gotten to semi? They would have been probably knocked out at the group stages. Those are the deadly stages in every tournament, not the last 2 stages. Once you scale through those stages, your chance of getting to final is bright. |
GanagiBitrus:This performance isn't encouraging. Let the serious-minded nations represent us in west africa jare. See as everyone wanted to score, sagging pants everywhere on the pitch. Bunch of unserious minds. Super 🐔 |
budaatum:See this one. Just mark today's date. It shall happen, sooner or later, I reiterate. |
budaatum:We're not ready yet ni. If we yorubas want to go, no amount of the Abdulsalaam Abubakar's 1999 constitution (as amended) can deter us. We're the ones still holding other tribes. This shall happen, only that we dont know when. |
seunmsg:Sense! More characters needed..berrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, seuuuuuuunseuuuun, seuuun, seuuuuuuuun |
Mama don do botox for her neck. Who noticed that the deep hole seen before becoming first Lady had suddenly disappeared before her husband was sworn in? Its not as a result of any illness but one of the signs of ageing. Wonders shall never end |
Tinubu should give this guy food. He's hungry . Once a nollywood actors is always a nollywood actor |
Hamachi:They're called SPVs...special purpose vehicles. I remember the late Femi Fourscore too, on whose one of the twin tower projects collapsed . This happened sooner after he was being showered encomiums all over town as property guru. He said he once sold ties and suits in Abuja streets. He boasted of building exotic towers in the UK and Europe. Those ikoyi towers belong to a notable politician whose name I'd not mention. He was fronting for him. That's why I always advise youths not to put themselves under any undue pressure when they hear of guys who rose to whealth suddenly. What's behind 6, is more than 7. Its a local adage. Recently when theyre celebrating a fashion icon in Abuja, and his exitic car worth over 1billion naira, one guy was so excited to call the guy Vivid Imagination in lagos who's now a grandpa sef. Some lazy genz can go that far in showering praises . I remember the Invictus Obi too. By the time it gets to Obi Cubana and chief priest's turn, I hope their fans won't cry foul. Don't be under any pressure. Believe in yourself and trust God for His provisions and you'd be ok. |
bobbiiee:Don't be surprised Nigeria is nearly 300m in population. Our leaders know our exact population figure but always hiding it. That's why they keep postponing sensors. |
Judolisco:Yes..and it's population. Sadly we are blessed with both but not using them for our benefit. See India, China, even Kenya and Ethiopia today for instance. Blame bad leaders for our woes as a nation and those voting them into political offices out of sentiments |
iwaeda:I wish I had read your post before dropping mine. We're on same page bro. Anyone who reads mine would think the monikers owned by same person hiding under 2 moniker as many of them do here. Lagos situation is worrisome. I could post some pictures taken each time i walk or drive past them but not necessary. Some of them are NL members. I need to protect their privacy. Anything can happen anytime in this nation and I won't be surprised. Nobody saw endsars coming afterall |
This is scary. Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder. I made a comment on this a few days back. Come to lagos and see them playing either snooker or chess at every junction. They argue over messi and ronaldo from morning till evening, doing nothing. Some of them are artisans but no customer. I really pity this generation. Sadly, most of them still vote the leaders who had rendered their lives worthless out of sentiments. |
TOPCRUISE:Yes but the advantages far outweigh it's disadvantages. Amotekun is a case study. Despite the noise made back then, how many times have they fought or been used to fight opposition? How many times have governors sent them to harass the opponents? Don't they bear arms too? The federal police are worse. In my presence in lagos, they've snatched ballot boxes, intimidated voters, been used several times by politicians nationwide to harass their enemies. With the State police, you'd know everyone in your domain and if an officer misbehaves, you know where he's coming from, who sent him and his family and you can call him to order. |
Long overdue. But it's easier said than done. They're all after winning tge 2027 elections at the expense of the masses who are the voters, whose life have been made vulnerable to attacks. Instead of implementing it, they'd rather suspended it and use the start off funds for elections. These people dont like the masses. Wake up! |
How many times would this man borrow in 2 years? Later, they'd say tinubu isn't borrowing. O ga oo. Enough patience is needed ahead of 2027 because this is just the beginning. He's sent off a lot of multinationals who used to generate revenues for running the government's day to day activities with their poorly performing polices. Again, hundreds of thousands of SMEs that FIRS used to generate revenue from have shut down operations and sacked their workers due to low revenues, still cos of Tinubu's bad economic policies. I visited the FIRS and their tax controller was lamenting. They had printed loads of letters to be sent out to companies to please remit something, alas! Recently, fed govt contractors stormed Abuja for their 2024 contract arrears. Very shameful. Despite all these, some people will still be defending them out of sentiments. They think because he's from among us, he'll be spraying money on their heads and be reeling out infrastructural development in our region. There's no single FG project ongoing in the south west as we speak, apart from the lagos-calabar coastal road which is neither here nor there and the rehabilitation of lagos-shagamu expressway. When late buhari was in power, the so-called ex military man oo, the entire apapa road was completely reconstructed. The airport road, from MMIA down to isolo was completely reconstructed and widened. It was still Tinubu's hitech that got the contract. I really don't know what he'd campaign with in 2027 that will appeal to the masses. The palliatives he promised in 2023 for removing subsidy, we no see. How much have they saved from the subsidy and how much of it have they re-invested, nobody knows. |
chukwutee:Dey play. He didn't want to declare his worth for the reasons best known to him, but we already know. Do you know the cost of one jet? He has 3. From there you can guess his worth |
But his NL warriors always differed each time I told them ahead of the 2023 election that he's not originally from lagos. Now that the coast is clear, that Oyetola is his brother and from same town and family, and same was the head of alpha beta, Tinubu's tax company here in lagos before becoming a sponsored osun governor, and now that Tinubu is giving back to his roots by moving the federal university of agriculture to his town of Iragbiji instead of either Ekiti or Lagos, they have been keeping quiet. If you're being deceived but you dont know, it's ok. But when you know you're being deceived but still don't care, then, there's a problem. |
They should just remove africa from the country name and leave only south cos it doesn't look like one. If your eyes were covered from Nigeria and you were thrown inside the plane and 6 hrs later you landed in their airport and driven to one of their cities and someone said, to you welcome to Germany or France, you'd never doubt it. The country is un-african. I blamed the colonialists for granting us independence in 1960. They should have stayed here for at least, 30 years more in the wake of crude discovery and we'd have had a better country. Today, nearly every state would have been linked with train with better roads. There's a town called Odo Owa in Ekiti. There's a street there where the colonialists asphalt is still standing. No passable road from itawure to aramoko ekiti, the only major road linking osun to ekit state. Aregbesola did the osun stretch down to the akure-ilesha highway. The situation is the same in most states in the country. By now, doctors and professionals wouldn't be japaing. We dont know the consequences of this until in the near future because the trend will never stop. No wife of a colonial master will enter lagos with almost 80 convoy like oluremi did, with their security harassing us on a broad day light just because they're passing. They'd not also spend 2bn usd on refineries that will never work. Snake won't swallow money under them rather, it would have been utilised. You get paid very well, on your job and that's all. I asked my south african friend why he always spends his annual vacation in south africa and not in the west. He said, can you tell me where I can go in the west, that we dont have its replica in SA? He said he can't afford to waste his money outside his country. Doctors from Nigeria are everywhere in south africa doing well. After the apartheid ended, dem com get good leaders to carry on. See Zuma being held and jailed over corrupt practices . That's a responsible nation. Here, they'd be celebrated for slapping them in the face. |
We need more of it as promised by Elrufai. We want to know how they connived with the INEC and shut down the server then, rigged obi out |
E go reach everyone. They'd still say it's politically motivated, as if they don't know the truth. Leadership is not about Jaujau and protests . Everybody will have their own share of this government of propaganda |
uniquetechng:When he was busy praising tinubu, I knew he wanted to skip justice. Was it azman and air peace that went to Addis Ababa to paint their plane in Nigeria colour and brought it to nigeria for commissioning? Same air craft went back to Ethiopia and resumed operations in its scheduled routes a few days later. Nigerians are so gullible. They forgot all that and still supported same party. They're eating your future at your presence but you're happy about it. Slavery is much better than this act. |
Just vomit what you stole. Nobody is asking you any questions. You've really slapped Nigerians and your likes won't go unpunished. Its a matter of time |
How does that concern the suffering Nigerians? They should protest and fight for their right or they go on strike. Leadership isn't about emilokan. You've got to have great plans and be prepared to lead. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Leadership isn't about jaijau style and the number of convoys you and your wife parade each time you enter lagos, with security harassing those going about their legit business cos you dey pass. |
muyico:Did Elrufai say he's running? He'll be a running mate to a southerner. Get that |
DiarisGodoo:Ask her why guys over there aren't getting married and ladies are crying for a life partners even at 40s...nobody. men are running away for bills. If she needs to hear good advice, she should get married before leaving, even get belle join because she doesn't know what shes gonna meet out there. She should just invite her hubby later |
Reference:You'd not understand. Family and being genius or being engaged in a success-driven business are 2 different things. We have Warren buffet, Paul Allen, Jeff Bezos, Walton family, bill gates etc who are also billionaires. They don't joke with their family. Can you compare...? Being trans by his son is a dent on his reputation and the consequences of how he handles his family while building his business empire. |
irumole1975:In as much as this appears as a cooked up story, I concur with you. We men face a lot. UK, Canada or America is good only for singles or a young couple starting up a family life. I told one man who is in his late 40s recently to not try to relocate his wife and children else, he'd have himself to blame. Is it sexx or romance that would now appeal to you in your 40s that you've never enjoyed in life? Go alone, put your children in good schools back home and set your wife up in business. Take good care of your family and visit them once a year. You can also arrange for their visit but not for staying. Children can relocate after graduating, the wife too and this time, you go don take money do good tin for naija cos you'd spend less, living single. Your genital no go even rise due to work stress except you dont know what you're doing and there are useless men like that. Dem plenti for dia Those living abroad with their family are seeing wheen as I speak. Many people don't know why a lot of them who had lived 20 years cant even boast of a 3-bedroom flat in Nigeria. Bills are just too much and i always pity them. The system is so wired such that you can't out-smart it and if you're trying to be smart, the law is there to deal with you. Schools are free for citizen's but to some extent. There are hidden bills you cant skip too and you've got to also weigh your income and ensure you counterbalance the divide...parents, in-law, friends who were loyal to you while at home but now living a poor life, mortgage(if you choose to live like abroad people) , feeding , etc. If your credit rating is now poor, you're on the long thing. I've not seen most of my friends who left 20 years ago back in Nigeria. When they look at the flight ticket, they get discouraged. Time runs like doves too. There are some jobs you cant do in old age. At times you'd ask yourself if you came to this world to work cos there may be no moment of enjoyment. You see men in their early 30s already growing greyhair everywhere. It's stress. I really salute my fellow men cos I'm also one and I know what I'm carrying. |
A great dude of Nigerian origin. See both of them playing like kids . I was also privileged being in same hall with barak Obama years back in the US in recognition of our efforts in Nigeria and sub-region. He came to give us words of encouragement in DC. When you're good at your job, you'd dine and wine with kings. A man's talent makes a way for him and brings him before kings. Na the holy book talk am. |
