I'm yoruba partially from akoko and ekiti, in Ijero local government, and i used to go home to see my mum until her passing last year. We had to pass okemesi to ikoro before getting to ijero due to bad road. But why do you guys always defend bad governance and you always think anyone who doesn't support you in this manner is a non-yoruba? Same applies to the ibos when you spot a bad thing that any of their governors is doing. Mr tribalistt, Nigeria can never move forward with this your mentality because you and I are the ones always bearing the brunt, not those you're defending blindlyy cos they don't live with us. Oyebanji comes from lagos once in a while, like fayemi did in his terms as governor. He only stays more in ekiti than fayemi. The earlier you decist from this mentality, the better for us all.

Apart from Lagos, where else is that infrastructure your mentors are developing? Had those governors before Sanwo-olu not stepped on toes and called the bluffs of tinubu, do you think they'd have done what you and I are seeing today? It almost cost fashola his 2nd term while ambode was removed cos he refused to give room for corruption but a good person will be remembered forever. Fayose can't be forgotten for road infrastructure in ekiti.

Obi himself is yet to test real presidential primaries. LP just gave him ticket but Ameachi came second contesting with big weight at APC primaries so even if Atiku no contest he no still sure say obi go get that ticket

One thing is to dash one ticket and another is to prove his worth and obi had done that, gallantly even without much effort. He didn't bribe to win, no structure, no godfather, rather he was backed by the masses who contributed for him. Same will happen in 2027. Amaechi was in the APC when he came 2nd at the primaries. This is ADC. The coalition backs obi/elrufai more than amaechi. Ahead of 2023, nobody knew the obi's worth until he left the pdp at the 11h hour for labour and garnered over 6m votes. This time, It won't be about who has more money to bribe but who can actually pull the crowd and win election. Amaechi can't win more than rivers where he had strong base, unlike obi who has bases everywhere. Don't forget, the primary will be about who can defeat tinubu and that combo will do a perfect job. He will win many APC states in the south as some governors have defected due to their selfish ambition. Atiku will not win cos south must complete 8 years. He's most likely going to step down for obi, whom he can really trust. Age isn't on his side as well. His term has passed

Weather obi won the 2023 elections but was slapped by tinubu and APC is an issue we'll leave in the hands of God. Amaechi is a feather weight in the Nigerian politics today.

That's why I loved buhari and voted him in 2015 I had to change my mind 4 yrs later cos of those who made up his cabinet. They were the ones who destroyed his government. It took buhari over a year before changing his wardrobes. Tinubu was part of those who wrecked his government by asking him to print more naira notes, which was part of the causes of the inflation today which he later denied but can internet be wrong?

I made a comment last month that a notable leader would die in June but nairaland barred me immediately. Buhari didn't die just now. He had passed weeks ago. If anyone had noticed the recent gathering during which shettima blabbed over the removal of an elected governor which had rattled the APC camp over fubara mater, everyone was looking moody in that gathering. I didn't know why nairaland would block such an important revelation. Who says God doesn't exist? Only fools do.

Truly, tinubu isn't Jonathan and I'd explain why. Jonathan didn't deceive the north with the same faith ticket, an act of desperation to win but still lost.

The 2023 elections' outcome had shown that, people's voice can't be suppressed by the minority greedy fellow, who have littered our political space. Despite the massive and glaring rigging, result still showed that the masses own democracy and not the politicians, those who are supposed to be our servants but have turned out to be "the served"

That's how they always plant their children in key positions. I only pity those supporting them on empty stomach, who can't even near their residential gates, let alone share in those juicy positions and offices

If someone who didn't have godfathers, bribe any electorate, governors, senators, party members, etc could pull over 6m votes in such a very short time and won federal seats, state assembly seats, etc, compared to Tinubu and atiku who spent millions of dollars on delegates alone at the primaries, then proceeded to states and bribed governors, sponsored thugs and paid them heavily to harass voters, bribed electorate at the various polling booths nationwide, could garner over 6m votes against atiku's 6m plus and Tinubu's 8m plus and with a paltry difference , which was never comensurate with the billions spent singly and by his party members at various levels, then he's a man to beat and a good candidate for presidency.

All he needs is little effort and he'll win in 2027 massively, still without bribing and those who will make those little efforts count, especially in the north are already on ground. They said he was a social media candidate and without structures but he defeated those with the so called structures of election rigging and bribery in their family compound and backyard, without spending kobo.

Like I said above, all he needs is little effort in 2027. Inec must be careful this time, or they cause chaos in Nigeria and I'm sure they'd not try that, now that everyone knows they're the enemies of democracy.
