Not good for your mail domain reputation. If someone says stop, then stop or you can ask them a polite question and still stop if they don't respond. Else they'd report your mail as spam and block. The more people do that the more your mail company's algorithm reduce your reputation and the more that happens your mails begin to go to spam folder. What I do is once they say stop and are not willing to discuss, I go to my CSV file and delete their names.
