This country is under a spell.

These principalities in government are always looking for ways to impoverish us through any means possible.

Health / Re: What Would You Do First & Differently When Coronavirus Lockdown Is Lifted? by ernie1234(m): 6:35pm On Apr 13, 2020
Macsjebs:

I will try to monitor more closely how my kids develop new traits in their growth and development as a father.

As we countdown to the end of the coronavirus lockdown, one thing is certain - things would be a little different from the norm

Let's share those things we would do first and differently

Here are things I feel would be first & different happenings when the lockdown is over:

1.) Businesses will try to make up for lost times and things may be a little fast paced

2.) Religious leaders will channel so much energy into propagating the 5G and other conspiracy theories in order to justify their inability to render 'spiritual/miraculous' assistance in the fight against covid-19

3.) A good number of broken homes and marriages would be reunited and there will increased cases of pregnancy

4.) A good number of church members would be hesitant to attend large religious gatherings for a little while

5.) Citizens will indirectly be made to pay for expenses govt incurred in the fight against covid-19 through heavy taxes and levies

6.) Prices of commodities will remain a little high for a while

7.) People would still practice good hygiene for a little while like regular hand washing and few others will still continue to wear face masks in public.

8.) Few persons will be richer than they were before coronavirus and there will be a lots scandals and accusations here and there.

Feel free to add yours.

Nairaland / General / Can We Ever Be Equals Even In Lagos??? by ernie1234(m): 8:45am On Mar 29, 2017
Good morning Guys,

On my way to office through Maryland this morning, I discovered there was posters of different individuals been placed at the middle of the road before you get to the army barracks
The posters carried the celebration of Lagos at 50 and how Lagos is doing great. Well that's a beautiful thing because I am also a part of the greatness Lagos has attain and would love to be celebrated.

On checking the names of the guys been advertised on the board, I discovered names like Banky W, Olamide baddo, Funke Akindele, Desmond Elliot and other celebrities. But on going through the names, I discovered among the celebrities been advertised, names of ordinary Nigerians were also advertised. But the funny thing I noticed was that the names of the ordinary Nigerians were not mentioned as other celebrities names were mentioned on the bill board.

One questions borders me, what difference does it make to simply mention these ordinary Nigerians names to create this sense of equality and ownership of Lagos by all of us Why the deliberately removal of these individuals names to make them feel irrelevant.

Well

It's up to us to make our nation great by having these sense of love, family and togetherness as far as our great country is concerned.

Hello Guys,

I was formerly a contract staff working with ECO Bank Plc until I was relieve of my job duties in February. I have worked for good 8 years without any issue but was thrown out as a piece of thrash.

My challenge is that other of my colleagues that left before me through the same manner was given their entitlement through the company that outsourced for ECO Bank in the space of 2 to 3 weeks. After a form is filled, their account is credited but this company refused to make payment after ECO Bank has paid my little entitlement to them.

Please house advice me on the legal step to follow In other to get my dues remitted back. I am a Family Man with wife and Children to Take care of. More so I suffered and worked with ECO Bank Plc for 8 years and cannot be left out just like that.

Thanks

Mod........ Help an Oppressed Citizen of Nigeria and take this to the front page.
