PoliticsRe: Full Text Of President Jonathan 8th Presidential Media Chat Today by Eromsboy: 7:55am On Feb 12, 2015
He explained that he was 'a bit aggressive' at his presidential flag-off in Lagos because he had been provoked by statements from the opposition before that date.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Interview With CNN Christiane Amanpour (Full Video) by Eromsboy: 12:29am On Feb 12, 2015
OREMUSSANCTUS:
Buhari is close to his grave, I pity him. Just as asiwaju of corruption used and dump ribadu, tinubu willl use and dump him. And for dose yorubaz who wants buhari to contest so dat wen he dies a yoruba man will rule again all planned by tinubu, just know ya selling ya birth right cos a time will come wen ya will nid votes from south and east and ya will get non. Tinubu won't be here forever, he will soon die and dose shouting change will pay for it.
I can see u are already even dying. May God not let u die before any of them so that you would learn the hard way that death does not come with age.
Just because of Jona who is neither your father or ur father's brother, u are wishing someone else death. If u were responsible, u won't post stupid messages like this. I wonder when u became God to know when people would die.

If at this stage, you are still brainwashed to see like this and reason this way, then I beat my chest to say some people are a misfortune to this country. I really feel sorry for you. I am from south-south but I don't reason like a lizard.
PoliticsRe: North Rejects Election Postponement; To Resist Any Attempt To Sack Jega by Eromsboy: 8:40am On Feb 08, 2015
naijaking1:
If Jega doesn't want to resign it would be so easy to disgrace him out of office, for instance, how come he is a part of the northern leaders meeting trying to oust GEJ while at the same time he is supposed to be the arbiter of elections between GEJ and a northerner?
How come he has been using lap top computers 'donate' by northern leaders to register under age youths for the election? Why accept computers from one side of the fight knowing fully well that these computers talk to each other and could be manipulated to rig resultshuh
Why, why, whyhuh
Bros, it is painful that you only hear things from the enemies of Nigeria like Edwin Clark and then conclude. If u had waited patiently till last night (and had not slept off), you would have watched live when Jega said he had never met with any group like he was accused of by Jega. He also slammed the media for not investigating the accusation before publishing the story and that it was because he was too busy, he would have gone to court.
I want to tell you that we journalists (I inclusive) are part of the problems facing this country. I often tell my colleagues that we cannot be exonerated if anything happened to this country as a result of this election because we daily light the ember of discord with the way we write our stories to satisfy the sponsors just for percuniary reasons.
It is shameful and that is why one must digest a story well before believing it.

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo Chides Jonathan For Attending OIC Meeting by Eromsboy: 8:35am On Feb 04, 2015
brainpower:
This same 2013 he was fighting insurgency while Buhari didn't fight. GEJ was trying to use every means necessary to see to the end of the insurgency. Osinbajo should stop cleaning the image of Buhari, whether he wins or not, he is a fundamentalist and an extremist. His statements and actions are there to prove it. And please nairalanders, I know Osinbajo as a seasoned lawyer but what I don't know is what he brings to the table as far as politics is concerned for the APC. His CAN and PFN has abandoned him, so it means he is politically irrelevant. Which also means that by any reason Buhari is voted in and he starts misbehaving, Osinbajo doesn't have the political might to stand up to him. Votewisly.
When u say Osinbajo's CAN and PFN abandoned him, please remember to add that these pastors were allegedly giving billions of naira to betray themselves and Nigerians. Thanks.

Interesting, when even APC official media outlet is doubting Buhari's choice to back out of debates, then you know water don pass garri.
Anyway, I have decided, GEJ till 2019
This is just an opinion which can be written and sent by any individual. It is not the view of Sahara Reporters and that is why the person's name is there for u to see.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Refusal To Participate In Debate Shocks Supporters by Eromsboy: 7:43am On Jan 30, 2015
The average Buhari supporter would not be shocked by this boycott. In fact, I was telling some friends four days ago that were I Buhari, I would not attend the debate.

See what happened in 2011. It is not like those commenting here do not remember, but they want to be mischievous.

Again, how can the debate group prove their nrutrality when the members either belong to PDP or are loyalists of the PDP? Need I mention Raymond Dokpesi of AIT. Then see BON, NTA and the rest.

See how AIT has gone against the ethics of the profession in the quest to sell Jonathan!

Abeg, you guys must consider yourselves as human beings and think straight jare!

PoliticsRe: Buhari 'Not Sorry' For 1983 Coup: Does Corruption Justify Military Action? by Eromsboy: 7:22pm On Jan 20, 2015
It is saddening that some Nigerians would see the current situation of the country and continue to act as if all is well.

We should always remember that we have children who would love to live in this country called Nigeria.

As I am now, there is nothing you can dig out against Buhari that will change my opinion. Nothing. So just get tired of rooting out irrelevances and ask ur candidate to face real issues.

Thanks.

The way some of u react to stories on NL gets me ashamed. We are educated for God's sake.

First, the OP misled readers here by attributing them to the APC when, of course, the story did not say so. He crafted a wrong headline for the story.

Then in a haste to comment, many refused to discern the intention of the OP before commenting. A big shame on those who attribute the story to APC. If by tomorrow it is discovered to be caused by angry PDP youths, what would be the consequence of this misinformation?
PoliticsRe: Northern Elders Fault Jonathan’s Comment About Statesmen by Eromsboy: 7:31am On Jan 09, 2015
When I first read President Jonathan's comment calling elderstatesmen touts, I told myself that statement is unpresidential.

He is always mentioning America but he refuses to take a clue. President Obama is often criticised, but he never returns insults for criticisms. He would tackle issues and continue to drum his administration's policies on the people till they get convinced.

Here we have a president that doesn't mind his choice of words, yet he wants people to trust him.

Jonathan and the PDP should also tell us their relationship with the Association of Witches and Wizards who endorsed him sometime ago.

See planted story...a source in the know.

This story is not true at all. When we went to interview Pastor Tunde Bakare towards the end of last year, I remember him say he travelled to London with two other people where they met Buhari who was holidaying there and they tried to convince him to return to Nigeria and slug it out in 2015.

So how did this half-baked journalist get his information?

Top 10 quotes from Rev. Fr. Mbaka’s tirade against GEJ (READ)

by Azubuike Azikiwe

Rev. Father. Ejike Mbaka, the founder of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, is awfully displeased with President Goodluck Jonathan.

Only two months ago, the cleric annointed First Lady, Patience Jonathan, and prophesied that her husband would win his re-election in February.

However, he seems to have had a change of heart, going by his prediction during the end-of-year Adoration mass to usher in 2015.

Delivering a sermon tagged, “From Good luck to Bad luck”, Father Mbaka urged Nigerians to vote out Jonathan, while adding that he got a revelation from God, which proved that the president would lose at the presidential election.

We present to you, 10 noteworthy quotes from his diatribe against GEJ

1. “All the other birds I released flew away but the healthiest of them, which is Jonathan’s bird, could not fly. I tried to make it fly but it could not fly.”

2. “NEPA is not working because of corruption. The privatization of public companies has not yielded any fruit because of corruption.”

3. “Jonathan surrounded himself with very corrupt officers who advise him. Nigerians are sick and tired of wasting innocent lives without government doing enough to stop the destruction.”

4. “President Goodluck Jonanthan has disappointed Nigerians and means no good anymore for the country.”

5. “I love President Goodluck Jonathan and I used to be his ardent fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Goodluck Jonathan and vote General Muhammad Buhari. I don’t care if Buhari is a Muslim and from the North; all I care about it’s that Buhari can save Nigeria.”

6. “Nigerians are calling for change. We need a change,” he repeated. “We don’t want to move from bad luck to bad luck; Nigerians want to move from bad luck to good luck.”

7. “The men of God only go there to dine and wine with the leaders for their own welfare without telling them the truth. But I’m happy that I, Fr. Mbaka, I’m not that type of priest. If you want money, I dash you money because the God I serve has blessed me abundantly.”

8. “I don’t know Buhari. I have never sat with him before. I am not being partisan, but I want total change in Nigeria.”

9. “Buhari cannot make Nigeria an Islamic country because we are in democracy. It was IBB government that dragged Nigeria into OIC. When Buhari fought corruption, people became careful about their actions. Anyone who says Buhari will Islamise Nigeria is not being fair.”

10. “If a northerner will rule the country and insecurity will stop, so be it. If a Yoruba man will rule Nigeria in 2015 and we have peace and stop the shedding of innocent blood, so be it. Nigerians are tired of wasting innocent lives.”

Nigerian army says they have Buhari’s certificate
Posted on January 3, 2015

Yesterday, a military source told Vanguard that the military does not have Gen. Buhari’s certificate. Today, the director of public relations of the Nigerian Army Brigadier Olaleye Lajide, dismissed the reports, saying the military have his academic records, that they’re just waiting for him to apply for it

From Sahara Reporters

The military spokesman made the disclosure while responding to a text message from SaharaReporters seeking clarification about the status of Mr. Buhari’s records. Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates.

According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or her original copy of records, the concerned officer must officially apply for copies from the army. He stated that the army responds to such requests in an expeditious manner. Brigadier Lajide told our correspondent that he was a former director of records at the Nigerian Army headquarters and had seen records of older and retired generals. He added that he was in no doubt that General Buhari’s records were intact. Brigadier Olaleye insisted that the claim in a major Nigerian newspaper, that the army could not locate Mr. Buhari’s record was untrue.
