A twitter user identified as @Mobenjaminmusic has alledged that a drunk police officer arrested him, collected his phone and asked him to pay the sum of N300,000 to free himself. He stated this on his Twitter handle. Benjamin noted that the incident happened on July 1, 2020 at exactly 9:58pm when he was heading home. He said the police man made all the people he was with, to stand out without face masks for a while.
