Atiku only needs to do well in the Northwest and Northeast, unlike how Jonathan did in 2015. The rest of the country are already completing the job for him. |

michoim:Mr man those are presidential appointees who came to Aso Rock with the president and would follow any president out of Aso Rock once he loses or his tenure expires. What I referred to were the real staff of Aso Rock who are civil servants there. |
Printerscanner:Eyha, it really pained you. |
Now that's a floorless victory there. Anyway, Southsouth, Southeast, Northcentral, half of Southwest and half of Northeast are locked down for Atiku. He just needs to do well more than Jonathan in the Northwest for a total floorless victory. |
ENUGU – PEOPLES Democratic Party, PDP, Senatorial candidate for Enugu West, Senate Ike Ekweremadu swept all the votes cast in his polling units, Amachalla Primary School Mpu. Deputy Senate President, Ekweremadu, also delivered 100% of the votes cast for the PDP Presidential candidate and the House of Representatives with the All Progressives Congress, APC scoring zero. There was wild celebration by the youths as, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officials concluded counting of the votes. Speaking to newsmen shortly after the counting of votes, one of the PDP stakeholder from the community Mr. Bright Ekweremadu said it was expected because Awgu is for PDP and it is the Deputy President of the Senate’s ward, “so we don’t expect any other party to come in.” According to him, ” in this community we are overwhelmed, we are happy; it’s a sign that our Senator is representing us well and we are happy with him and the only way to pay him back is to cast our votes for him. NaijaRoyalty:If it is true, then Atiku tried. The idea is still for Atiku to do much better in those places Buhari won with wide margin in 2015. Other zone should complete the job for him. |
Whereas some people have been spewing words like he would be sent to political oblivion |

Afamed:Obasanjo didn't win his polling unit when he contested and won presidential election. |
Corrinthians:I think you need to have your brain tested. You should have opened the thread and read it's content to see if they were just a polling unit. |

Hoodlums have disrupted the planned disbursement of TraderMoni to traders at Lafenwa Market in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Our correspondent gathered that the suspected political thugs disrupted the planned disbursement when officials of the programme were compiling the names of prospective beneficiaries at the stall of the Iyaloja, Mrs. Ramotalai Olatunji. It was gathered that the prospective beneficiaries were forcibly dispersed by the hoodlums. It was also gathered that the Iyaloja was whisked away by the hoodlums. When our correspondent visited the market after the disruption, some market women were seen sitting under the canopy waiting for the officials of the programme. ‘TraderMoni’ is a Federal Government intervention programme for petty traders under the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme. https://punchng.com/breaking-hoodlums-disrupt-tradermoni-disbursement-in-abeokuta/ Lalasticlala |
Ray97:That's better if he agrees to return his looted funds which would be invested in the country, instead of going through years of court battles without any result or telling him to join the ruling party and keep his loot, right? |
Buhari always has the propensity for dictatorship and tyranny, overruling the constitution and the rule of law. |
President Muhammadu Buhari courted controversy on Monday afternoon when he threatened that anyone engaged in ballot box snatching or other forms of electoral violence would do so “at the expense of his own life.” The President said at the caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress that he had given security agencies the order to “deal ruthlessly” with anyone seeking to disrupt the elections. He said, “Anybody who decides to snatch ballot boxes or lead thugs to disturb it, maybe this is the last unlawful action you will take. “I really gave the military and the Police (order) to be ruthless. “We are not going to be blamed that we want to rig elections. I want Nigerians to be respected. Let them vote whoever they want across parties. SEE ALSO: Snatch ballot box at the expense of your life, Buhari warns during APC caucus meeting “I am going to warn anybody who thinks he has enough influence in his locality to lead a body of thugs or to disturb the voting system, he will do it at the expense of his own life.” The Electoral Act (2010), however, does not prescribe death for any electoral offence. The maximum sentence for snatching of ballot boxes is 24 months in prison. Section 129 (4) of the Electoral Act states, “Any person who snatches or destroys any election material commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 24 months imprisonment.” The Act further states that anyone who directly or indirectly engages in electoral violence shall be liable to three years in prison or a fine of N1m Section 131. (1) states, “A person who- Threatening directly or indirectly, by himself or by another person on his behalf, makes use of or threatens to make use of any force, violence or restrain; (b) inflicts or threatens to inflict by himself or by any other person, any minor or serious injury, damage, harm or loss on or against a person in order to induce or compel that person to vote or refrain from voting, or on account of such person having voted or refrained from voting; or (c) by abduction, duress, or a fraudulent device or contrivance, impedes or prevents the free use of the vote by a voter or thereby compels, induces, or prevails on a voter to give or refrain from giving his vote, (d) by preventing any political aspirants from free use of the media, designated vehicles, mobilisation of political support and campaign at an election, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of N1,000, 000 or imprisonment for a term of three years.” https://punchng.com/fact-check-what-electoral-act-says-about-ballot-box-snatching-violence/ Lalasticlala |
Lol. Has the EFCC botched this case again? The other day, Babachir Lawal was all smiles in court when he was arraigned because he knows the case would be thrown out at last due to the well-planned script between him and EFCC which would see him discharged |
