happy with him and the only way to pay him
back is to cast our votes for him. And we have

PoliticsZamfara, Rivers APC Remain Banned – INEC by escodotman(op): 4:18pm On Feb 21, 2019
The Independent National Electoral Commission says the All Progressives Congress will not be allowed to participate in any elections except the Presidential poll in Rivers and Zamfara States.

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, said this at a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday.

Yakubu’s position comes despite a letter written to INEC by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), asking the commission to recognise the APC in Zamfara.

The APC in Zamfara and Rivers states had threatened that they would not allow any elections to take place in their states if they were not allowed to participate in the governorship, National Assembly and state assembly elections.

Buhari always has the propensity for dictatorship and tyranny, overruling the constitution and the rule of law.
PoliticsFact Check: What Electoral Act Says About Ballot Box Snatching, Violence by escodotman(op): 8:06pm On Feb 18, 2019
President Muhammadu Buhari courted
controversy on Monday afternoon when he
threatened that anyone engaged in ballot box
snatching or other forms of electoral violence
would do so “at the expense of his own life.”
The President said at the caucus meeting of the
All Progressives Congress that he had given
security agencies the order to “deal ruthlessly”
with anyone seeking to disrupt the elections.
He said, “Anybody who decides to snatch ballot
boxes or lead thugs to disturb it, maybe this is
the last unlawful action you will take.
“I really gave the military and the Police (order)
to be ruthless.
“We are not going to be blamed that we want to
rig elections. I want Nigerians to be respected.
Let them vote whoever they want across
parties.

“I am going to warn anybody who thinks he has
enough influence in his locality to lead a body
of thugs or to disturb the voting system, he will

The Electoral Act (2010), however, does not
prescribe death for any electoral offence.
The maximum sentence for snatching of ballot
boxes is 24 months in prison
.
Section 129 (4) of the Electoral Act states, “Any
person who snatches or destroys any election
material commits an offence and is liable on
conviction to 24 months imprisonment.”
The Act further states that anyone who directly
or indirectly engages in electoral violence shall
be liable to three years in prison or a fine of
N1m
Section 131. (1) states, “A person who-
Threatening directly or indirectly, by himself or
by another person on his behalf, makes use of
or threatens to make use of any force, violence
or restrain; (b) inflicts or threatens to inflict by
himself or by any other person, any minor or
serious injury, damage, harm or loss on or
against a person in order to induce or compel
that person to vote or refrain from voting, or
on account of such person having voted or
refrained from voting; or (c) by abduction,
duress, or a fraudulent device or contrivance,
impedes or prevents the free use of the vote
by a voter or thereby compels, induces, or
prevails on a voter to give or refrain from
giving his vote, (d) by preventing any political
aspirants from free use of the media,
designated vehicles, mobilisation of political
support and campaign at an election, commits
