Politics / Re: Atiku Must Tell Us Who He’s Planning To Sell NNPC To - Bismarck Rewane by escodotman: 4:05pm On Nov 20, 2018
LordAdam16:

That has always been their MO. They don't care about the action. They only care about the person.

When GEJ tried to remove subsidy, they were screaming. Buhari removed it then reintroduced it, deafening silence.

When Buhari wanted to sell NLNG to finance the budget, the b*stard did not ask who he was going to sell it to.

Now Atiku clearly says in his plan he'd privatize NNPC to make it more transparent, he's asking who he wants to sell it to? As if there's any Nigerian company with enough money in the bank to buy 90% of NNPC. The PIGB that will be fast-tracked has already called for 40% of NNPC shares to be listed on the NSE. Atiku wants more divested to the Nigerian public for even better transparency, and the m*ron who openly suggested he can't read has been gallivanting on the thread repeating one stup*d question.

-Lord
Don't take those people serious. When another government takes over, they would be astonished by the level of looting that happened in their darling APC. The greatest fools are those still believing Buhari's ''integrity'' nonsense, with what we've been witnessing. The man is wise and cunning, making himself the minister of petroleum to oversee the looting properly.

Privatisation is the way to go but not when it's done by Atiku and PDP. They have the history of short changing Nigerians. The NEPA that was privatised by GEJ. What's the result today? The Nitel that was sold by Atiku, what's the result today. Atiku and PDP have the history of rubbing Nigerians.
So anybody can oversee privatisation but not Atiku? You are obvioulsy an APC supporter who is jittery at the possibility of Atiku's presidency. You've been typing trash, despite different people giving you ilustrations but you blocked your head and refuse to learn. You talk about NITEL, would you rather NITEL is still around and millions of Nigerians are still queing today to make a call? You can't see how technology advancements in mobile phones have changed the world. So Atiku is not allowed to preside over the privatisation of a national asset but your god Buhari is about to sell off 3 national assets to ''fund budget''? Have you asked who Buhari is going to sell to? NNPC has been a conduit of siphoning money for years, with the country's debt profile rising astronomically. We know the looting going on this administration with the 3.5billion dollars Maikanti Baru claims he is using to pay for subsidy under the watchful eyes of Buhari as the minister of petroleum, where Baru himself and the NNPC Financial director are the only signatories to the money. Before you shout who Atiku plans to sell to, let that process begin first and see if it would be transparent or not.

I was actually pro PDP until earlier today when I renounced my support for the party on a thread on the 51 unresolved high profile assassinations that took place under PDP in 16 years.
If you truly love your party APC so much and you want to promote and sell them to the people, doing so under a PDP moniker is cowardice and disgraceful. You should be proud of your APC and have no need to hide under any guise in order to sell them to the people. You claim to be PDP until today, your past posts show you are an hardened APC supporter. Seeing all those posts, the long stories you post regularly, man I must confirm, you are really doing a lot! I hope for you, that you are being paid for this service to your party APC!

Bros,

If you truly read and understood my post, the phrase 'but not necessarily patriotic' is not a yes-or-no declaration but an opinion with a possibility clause.

1) The said European Principal of Katsina Pronvicial School who wrote a recommendation letter for Buhari in 1961 wasn't the same Principal of the school (later renamed Government Secondary school, Katsina) in 2015 when the school released Buhari's Statement of Results.

2)Are you saying both the Statement of Results issued by his Secondary school and the Attestation of results issued by WAEC are non-existent or forged?

If the PDP and people like you who still strongly hold the view that Buhari is an illiterate or has no WAEC certificate are not satisfied, you need to try the legal option to determine his culpability.

*On a personal note, you seemed to have a deep seated hatred for Buhari/ APC (most of your posts on Nairaland in the last couple of months easily point to this).
You have a right to be so but i advise you to be less personal about this Buhari's matter because it doesn't worth it so as not to be seriously disappointed...both APC and PDP are two sides of the same coin.

Look, whether it was the same principal who wrote recommendation letter and statement of result, it does not matter at all. Statement of result by a secondary school is different from a WAEC result or certificate, this is what you should understand. A university drop-out could also give you one or two statement of results, but the most important document is the one that evident the individual completed the school process which would be a certificate. You can continue to look up my posts even since last year, APC agents/supporters and your likes would definitely call it ''hatred''. This is unbelivable! Are citizens not entitled to hold their leaders accountable again? When has airing your views on governance in your country and the state of the nation became ''hatred''? You said Buhari has ''failed'', but what have you done about it, sit down and look and not speak out? This is a democracy, any citizen who criticizes a government should be seen as ''hating'' the leader at the helm of affairs whose the buck stops at his table? With all the indices international organisations have placed Nigeria on, people should just be looking and not speak out like you and APC supporters? Do Wole Soyinka, Northern Elders and Arewa forum, Northern Youths Forum, North Central leaders whose people are being killed by fulani militials, Middle Belt leaders, Afenifere, PANDEF (Niger Delta), OBJ, General Danjuma and so many others, also ''hate'' Buhari? Did Buhari take their lands or houses that would make all these Nigerians and leaders ''hate'' him? WE ARE NOT SLAVES IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!! What is the essence of DEMOCRACY if people cannot voice out and speak to power, air their dissatisfaction about how their country is being governed so that APC supporters and your likes won't term them ''hating Buhari''?

Bros , i guess you were around when the Government college, Katsina released Buhari's Statement of results and now that WAEC also issued his attenstation, yet you aren't satisfy.

Sir, what exactly do you wish to achieve from this Buhari's certificate saga?

1) To demarket Buharu's candidacy and make people not vote for him?

2) To make Buhari disqualify himself from the 2019 presidential election?

3) To get justice for a case of perceived perjury?

Points numbers 1 &2 will not be achieved. The PDP and their sympathizers had used this method in 2014-2015 and didn't work and it WILL NOT work in 2019.

On a personal note, Buhari has failed abysmally but the PDP can't win this election based on their present strategies.

Most of the PDP online supporters are people who hate Buhari for one reason or the other but not necessarily patriotic Nigerians. Their approach to political issues is largely emotional and sometimes irrational.

*Zombie is a derogratory and dehumanizing term but Wailers is NOT sir. If you were around in the 1970s ,you must have heard about 'Bob Marley and the Wailing Wailers'.

The Wailers were the energized youths who were complaining about the poor state of their Caribbean country and agitating for a better deal from their leaders (mostly through Reggae music).

Hey man, what makes you think you have a right to declare which Nigerians are patriotic and which are not? This is democracy. Patriotism is subjective. To some people, it is you who is not being patriotic by supporting a man, an obvious lie, over the Nation and rule of law. You said Katsina college released Buhari's statement of result.... You still don't get, do you? No one is saying Buhari didn't start schooling but the issue is DID HE SIT FOR WAEC EXAMINATION BEFORE LEAVING SCHOOL TO JOIN THE ARMY? You mentioned the statement of result his principal released but you failed to mention a recommendation letter also written to the army by the said principal, stating that Buhari would sit for and pass WAEC (not that he had already sat for it), which eventually enabled him to join the army! This should tell you that Buhari didn't enter the army through due process by using a certificate. Again, I don't remember telling you here if Buhari's government has failed or not, what I've been talking about is the WAEC certificate issue. And whether he contests or not is non of my business. The word ''wailers'' has been used to disparage and abuse anyone who sees differently or doesn't agree with the government. Whatever it was used for in the past in music has become irrelevant unless you want to feign ignorance that it's not being used to ridicule and abuse anti-APC people.

2) "Affirmati Non Neganti Incumbit Probatio" He who asserts must prove.
The most appropriate thing to do is to get your 'hardcast evidence' and take the matter up in court.

The late Gani Fawehinmi immensely contributed to the entrenchment of democracy in Nigeria by doing this.

*On a lighter note, you can debate maturely without all these 'Zombies' every now and then.

Oh really? You reject the ''zombie'' label on you but you feel comfortable calling people ''wailers''? Whether anyone wants to take Buhari to court is not the issue here. The issue is lying every time he wants to contest that his certificate is with military which, has become his modus operandi, whereas, his principal recomended him to the military without a certificate, thereby committing perjury by swearing on the contrary. Buhari has contested several times with the same claim about his certificate being with the military, and when he became the Commander-in-Chief, he couldn't order the military to produce the imaginary certificate.

You keep parambulating without establishing a prima facie case against Buhari.

What exactly are we dealing with? Has Buhari committed any crime or a misdemeanor?

1) Is it a case of forgery of a WAEC certificate by Buhari, which is a criminal case?
2) Do you think Buhari lied under oath by swearing an affidavit that is false, an equally grave allegation punishable by law?
3) Is it that Buhari is not educated and ineligible to contest for an election?

What exactly is the bone of contention?

The PDP and its wailers need to be specific on what they feel is wrong which can be challenged by legal means instead of throwing tantrums all over the cyber space.

Your present crying on Nairaland will not yield anything,so save yourself the headache and file a suit in court to stop Buhari from contesting. This is the most appropriate and civilized thing to do, not abusing people online or drawing unrelated cases into the matter.

Every case should and will be determined on its merits (not what happen elsewhere or in another case).

It seems you don't even understand what prima facie means. Buhari swore to an affidavit that his certificate was with the military and he has been the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces for over 3 years now and couldn't order the certificate to be produced. Are Buhari and his zombies not deceiving themselves.... http://saharareporters.com/2018/10/28/video-how-army-denied-being-possession-buharis-certificate-2015 . https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/175303-dont-buharis-original-certificates-nigerian-army.html The military denied that Buhari's certificate was with them and that he didn't enter the army with certificate but with a letter from his school principal. And you think this is not a primacie case of perjury and lying under oath? Zombies should really go and get educated before coming to social media to display ignorance of professional terms they know nothing about. For you to be suffering and typing to defend Buhari doesn't change anything.

The problem with people like you is that you attach too much emotions and less of logic to your arguments.

You don't read the constitution but you assume that your opinions must be equal to the law

Section 131 of the Constitution is crystal clear on who is eligible to contest for an election.

The interpretation clause in section 138 further clear all forms of ambiguity.

The electoral act even enjoin anyone who feels the information a prospective candidate supply in his forms is false to challenge it in court.

If the PDP and the wailers think they have any case, the most appropriate thing is to challenge the eligibility of Buhari to contest and not cyber or media blackmail.

The Law is an ass, the law at times may not necessarily agree with our opinions, expectations, preferences or wishes but the law is the law.

Buhari with a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from an American military university (The US War College) is adequately qualify to run for an election.

Calling people that separate personal hatred and prejudices from rational debates zombies don't and won't change the law.

No matter how much you try hard to prove your god's educational background, by even trying to make the law his alibi, it still doesn't change the fact that a publich office holder is not a private citizen. Your statement on going to challenge a public office holder's credentials in court is nonsense. If it were an opposition's educational background that is generating much controversy like Buhari's, zombies wouldn't mind setting the country on fire. Buhari didn't ask Nigerians, including his zombies, to go to court to check if Kemi Adeosun's NYSC's certificate was fake or not before sacking her. APC didn't ask Nigerians and the zombies to go to court to ''scrutinize'' if Adebayo Shittu was eligible to contest Oyo state governorship primary because he DID NOT SUBMIT NYSC CERTIFICATE before he was prevented from contesting after he bought the form (remember, just as buhari didn't submit WAEC certificate). It is a known fact that there are companies in Nigeria who still double-check the credentials that their employees submitted by contacting their varoius institutions. I guess in the eyes of zombies, the rules that apply to Nigerians do not apply to Buhari! Asking people to go to cour, so that the courts would ask WAEC if Buhari actually had certificate is hilarious! Calling people who want the law and due process to be respected ''wailers'' and ''IPOBians'' wouldn't change anything.

b) FOI act will only come into this issue IF Buhari had submitted the certificate to INEC, which you as a citizen or 'Move for Nigeria' can request for to scrutinize it but you can't rely on the FOI act to request from WAEC to furnish you details about a certificate that was never submitted to any Nigerian institution.
4) Section 131 of the construction is clear on eligibility for an election.
The constitution require that a prospective candidate be educated up to at least school certificate level or its equivalents.
The interpretation clause in Section 138 explicitly states the meaning of 'Its equivalents' which include being able to read and write in English and working in any Government office for up to 10 years.
There is no mention of WAEC certificate in the constitution or even the affidavit sworn to by Buhari.
The spokesman of the PDP campaign organization in 2015, FFK brought the issue of WAEC certificate into the matter.

5) If the PDP , the wailers, IPOBians and others feel that Buhari is not educated up to School certificate level or that he lied in the affidavit he sworn to, stating that his CREDENTIALS (not exactly the same thing as WAEC certificate) are with the Military Board, they can approach the courts which can determine whether Buhari indeed attended a Secondary school and many Military institutions he claimed to attend.

.
Read all those things you put up there again. You are trying to twist facts or trying be clever by half! You said General Buhari was not a public office holder then but you forgot to mention that he was aspiring to be one, and had even became a candidate of a political party! Are you saying they should have allowed General Buhari to win the elction first and become a public office holder before they could scrutinize his acclaimed credential? What kind of twisted argument is that? Again, you said FOI is only inding on Nigerian institutions, is WAEC Nigeria not domiciled in Nigeria, on Nigerian territory and bound by Nigerian LAWS and as such not a Nigerian institution? You said since General Buhari didn't submit any certificate, FOI wouldn't come into play, what is wrong with Nigerians?? So all Nigerians who want to get into higher institution or get a job can just submit an affidavit and tell their prospective employers that their certificate is somewhere else even if they are lying and possess no certificate at all, and the claim shouldn't be probed or scrutinize because they didn't submit their any certificate all?? How did Nigeria get here? You argument that the constitution says a person must be educated up to a certain level, now, how do we know such a person is actually educated if he/she has no prove, which is a CERTIFICATE? Your argument is typical of zombies who all always try to twist obvious facts to cover up their incompetent god. 1) In 2014-2015 when this issue came up,which you said 'Move for Nigeria' wrote to WAEC demanding for verification or replicate of Buhari's Sch cert result, Buhari was a private citizen and NOT yet the President.

2) Scrutiny of the conducts and lives of an office holder doesn't abrogate the rules of law, regulations and organizational policies of corporate international bodies like WAEC.

If Buhari had applied to study or seek for employment in an institution called 'Move for Nigeria', then they have a locus standi to write to WAEC for a verification of his results but they can't wake up from the wrong side of the bed (after good sales at Alaba or Onitsha markets and drenching themselves in cheap orijin or Sapele water) then write to WAEC demanding for copies of Buhari's certificate.

You or 'Move for Nigeria' can't write to WAEC to demand for verification of your Governor's or LG Chairman's results because they are holding public offices.

ONLY the courts have such powers.

Buhari may be a bad man and you can hate Buhari for whatever reasons but this may not necessarily affect the position of the laws.

You are wrong again. Go and find out about FOI ACT (Freedom of Information) which became a law during Jonathan's administration. Once you are a public office holder, your life, past and present also becomes a public property, you are no longer a private citizen! This is to ensure the people elect leaders with integrity and also check if the credentials presented by an elected leader or a political office appointee is genuine or not. It was because of this FOI act SERAP wrote to the NYSC to demand the status of the former minister of finace which should have been her personal property, why, because she was a political office holder! It was on this same premise of FOI Act that Civil Society Organisations wrote to the presidency to demand for the amount Buhari spent for his medical trip. This same FOI Act enabled PREMIUM TIME newspaper uncover the fact that the minister of communication didn't undergo NYSC. There are many other examples, just to prove to you that once you become a public office holder, you are no longer entitled to your privacy.

That "dullard" word is a word reserved for your god from futa djallon in Guinea, and he loves his cow more than you asslicking him.

Mr dunderhead kindly go and trade in your brain for a working model. What you have in your head is a knocked engine.

Having a headquarter in Ghana does not indicate data location.

In administration for sake of ease of record keeping you decentralize.

Nigeria has A NATIONAL WAEC OFFICE
Ghana has A NATIONAL WAEC OFFICE

Nigeria also has A WAEC INTERNATIONAL OFFICE.

It is expected that all data concerning Nigerian candidates must be domiciled in Nigeria and not in Ghana because we are responsible for our information due to knowledge of your country and its people.

We cannot access the information about Ghanaian candidates here in Nigeria because it is none of our business and they cannot access information about Nigerian candidates because it is none of their business.

The letter written demanding for buharis proof of candidature was to their NATIONAL OFFICE and not their INTERNATIONAL OFFICE as we have in Nigeria.

I am sure even the knocked engine you have In your head should know that NATIONAL means a restriction to the country it covers which in this case is GHANA
You zombies' case is a lost cause. No matter how much you try to educate a zombie, he/she will always remaina zombie with a dead brain. Zombies are programmed elements and cannot change. Your brain is fried.
