This two teams do not deserve to be in the knock out stage. They should have been eliminated in the group stage. They are just too dramatic. Any small touch, they start rolling on the floor like spoilt kids. |

If Nigeria keeps playing like this, allowing Cameroon to have all the possession, they will get tired by 80 minutes and potentially concede a goal or even two. |

mrBlunt: FACT Osimhen has been involved in all the 4 goals scored by SE in this tournament so far. That is why he is the African footballer of the year. He has a great attitude to the game. He is not getting good supply currently that is why he is not scoring many goals. |

Once again, Nigeria is winning but I am not impressed by their attacking play. The coach has done a great job sorting out the defensive issues. Now it is time to sort out the attack and this needs to be done urgently.
Good thing there is no north African side in our pathway to the semi final |

prinsam30: any team wey meet us for round of 16 we go cage them, e be like say u no sabi our pattern of play ooo Nigeria has been good defensively that is why they made it out of the group stage. But when it comes to the knock out stage, you will be playing good teams. And worse still, you might lose some of your best players due to yellow card and injuries. If your attack is not on point, you are going nowhere. It's like Nigeria coach wants to use the strategy Greece used to win Euro 2008. Defend aggressively and try to score even if it is one goal to win the game. That strategy can only work if you are very clinical up front. The Nigerian players too need to wake up and be more alert. |

If Nigeria continues like this, they might chop 4 nil from a good team later in this competition. Their attack needs to be improved by at least 200% before they can dream of bronze |
