If Osimhen want to contest for the golden boots, this is the game to take advantage of. Score as many as you can.

Anything I can do to make it better?
Turn off personalisation service, turn off bixby, turn off background scanning for wifi networks and Bluetooth, turn off sending of diagnostic data, etc.

Genuine idiot at that
Truth be told, I would not give all the blame to Osayi. The other players running forward did not open into space. Osayi was left with no option but to try by himself. I wonder what these people do during training.

Nigeria trying to protect one goal against the host nation. grin
That is asking for a draw.
Iwobi looks tired. He needs to be substituted.

Nigeria is yet to register a single effort on target despite having so many corners. Says alot about the effectiveness of their attack.

Osimhen does not know how to run into good spaces.
SportsRe: AFCON 2023: Ivory Coast Vs Nigeria. Patriotism Vs Reality(opinion) by esemes256: 2:51pm On Jan 18, 2024
The Nigerian team prefers prayer to working on their tactics and attitude to the game. As I type this, they may already be holding praise and worship sessions already. And before the match starts, they will also congregate for prayers, as if to show the world their piety. Forgetting that the other team is also religious too.
The point is, if they don't work hard and improve their game, they will be humiliated out of the tournament.
Car TalkRe: TOYOTA COROLLA: A Wise Choice Decision To Make In Nigeria Today? by esemes256: 10:31pm On Jan 13, 2024
McLizbae:
Where do you guys get these theories from!? Because, according to toyota official ratings, no camry is more fuel efficient than corolla.
If you are comparing camry and corolla of the same year, the corollas usually have about 2/3mpg better than camry, in terms of gas mileage. But if you compare some newer camry with some older corolla, you will find a few instances where the camry has slightly better gas mileage on the highway than the corolla, even though the year of manufacture is not that far apart. Also note, the older a car gets, the less efficient the engine and the lower the gas mileage.

CareerRe: This Happened In My New Work Place. Please advice by esemes256: 2:47pm On Jan 13, 2024
Jackanda1:
I recently applied to work in an organisation.

After passing the interview and checks, the management was impressed and decided to hire and give me a major role in the company.

When i asked about the payment for my position, they threw me a popular question;
HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PAY YOU?

I gave them a figure in mind, a little above what i got in my former job. Their facial expression was 'WoW'.

I started work on tuesday and after making friends and chating the secretary, i found out that i earn twice less than the staffs in the company in the same position.

Infact, i earn a little more than the gateman and cleaner. The secretary even earns more.

Its my fault, should have done some checks on the strength and salary structure of the firm before applying.

I feel discouraged. With this information, i won't be able fuction properly. Plus this secretary with her loud mouth will spread the news in the company, making me feel worst.

Anyone with this experience? Please console me.
Look at the bright side. At least you are earning more than in your previous job. Continue to give your best in the job.
Also, if you really like the company and want to continue working for them, after a few months, you can strategize, research and make a frank and formal request to the management for salary adjustment, stating specific reasons. The worst that can happen is that they will say no.
CareerRe: This Happened In My New Work Place. Please advice by esemes256: 2:43pm On Jan 13, 2024
Bluntguy:
It's not always good to suggest what you should be paid by your employers. You should have told them that whatever pay that goes with the position you are applying for is okay by you. This is because the organization already has a payment structure on ground. The payment structure is always based on qualification and experience.

I will advise you just do your job till the end of the month. I am sure you will be paid based on their payment structure. By the way, you should have gotten your employment letter by now and what you would be paid is always specified in it. Good luck bro. Don't feel bad, rather hope for the best.
I once applied for a job last two years or so. In the application form, one of the required fields to fill was your salary expectations. You had to put the exact annual gross salary. Like no way to avoid the question or turn it back to the company.

Is there any active security architecture in this country?

Inflation

Price of things skyrocketed in 2023. The highest I have ever seen since I was born.

One positive thing I saw was the increase in value of stocks and shares. Some saw as much as 41% increase.

Well I am not trying to compare them. I Mentioned Messi mostly because they are from the same country. Of course, Messi is a beast and in a class of his own.
I just think that Garnacho, if groomed properly, can be a great player for both Argentina and any club he plays for.

The Award for the most boring, uninspiring and underwhelming football team goes to non other than Manchester United.

The other Award for the Team with the worst conversion rate in the league also goes to this same United.
And yet they are 7th on the table. Ahead of the likes of Brighton, Newcastle and Chelsea.
Now imagine what Man Utd would be like if they had a very insightful coach.

PoliticsRe: Japa: We Should All Stay Back, Fight For Nigeria – General Christopher Musa by esemes256: 2:15am On Dec 26, 2023
From historical times, man has relocated from one country to another in search of a better life. Joseph migrated Jacob's family to Egypt for a better life. Indians, Mexicans, migrate to US for better life. Chinese, Indians and Lebanese migrate to Nigeria to take advantage of opportunities that exist here.

What I am try to say is every human is free to relocate to wherever he wishes as long as his life will be better as a result.

About insecurity, I will encourage the op to take a road trip around Nigeria for about a week, then come back and update his assessment of insecurity in Nigeria.

I still want to understand, rigorous in what sense ?both are Japanese and made up of same metal parts. Honda Shocks last longer than Toyota, good fuel economy, and a bit wider space
Very true. But the ground clearance leaves a lot to be desired. And that seems to be common among honda cars.

Honda civic, while being very good in engine, fuel economy, interior design, etc, does not survive the way the corolla survives tough environments like Nigerian roads.
