Wat I mean by civilised here is dos av gone 2 higher institutions ov learning n av adopted d evil ways ov dressing n intermingling wt opp sex from d western culture. U c a sister wt name e.g Ruqayya,Fatima etc dressing almost naked-ol d basic apparatus d@ Allah S.W.T said de shld cover r outside.No headtie talkless ov hijab,chest clearly shown-tied shirts n jeans.
De intermingle wt d males anyhow,SHAKING N HUGGING is a greeting 2 them.

2. It depends on what you mean by civilised. Having knowledge if something isn't the same as practising, many men are fast to point out Islamic rulings on women without necessarily pointing theirs out, so at times theres problem, and it depends on the sisters faith in Islam and willingness to learn. Some men don't want to marry sisters more knowledgeable either.
3. I will quit the job, and i know Allah (SWT) will give me something better.

I wsh 2 seek 4 ur advces on ds issue: I love a gal hum I want to marry,but my parents expressed their dissatisfaction with d lady bcz she s frm a different state,wch de believe r mo socialized n couldnt marry frm anybody frm my town.Secondly,de believe dt she s a graduate n cannt marry me. We(I n d lady) both love each other.

D problem s my dad was very annoyed wt me wen my mum told him abt d lady. De both instructed me to leave dt gal n I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

My mum later suggested 1 ov my cousin sisters 2 me n I dont love her.

I want someone that will encourage me in the deen,preserve my hijab for me,work with me to train my children in the pathof Allah,and take me with him to jannah mashaa Allah,but now I don't know what to do. Should I reject outrightly and incur the wrath of my family,damning the concequences?
