Assalamu alaikum.For those saying yoruba shld marry yoruba,Hausa to Bahaushiya etc...claimng cultural difference would have effect on the marriage...Where does Allah and/or His apostle p.b.u.h said Yorubas shld only marry yorubas ,Hausa etc shld only marry frm their tribes? Will you disregard sm1 that propoes you for marriage just because he /she is frm a different tribe? As for me,I can marry any lady frm any tribe Igbo,Hausa,Yoruba,Tangale,etc IF she has d qualities I need and she bears witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah s.w.t and Prophet Muhammad s.a.w is His slave and messenger. Qur'an 4:3 Allah s.w.t says "Marry women of ur choice,2,3 or 4,if you can't deal justly with them then marry only one ..." rough trans Can you marry a husband that wll re-marry 3 wives? In other words Why is that most sisters don't want their husbands to re-marry? |

ssultana: the lady is probably too nice and cant say no or where the selfish ones are concerned,she doesnt want to lose the option of having u around just in case.........or,she just needs ur friendship and nothing more at the timeBut sisters shouldnt keep brothers in a waiting state for long...Some days or week(s) is enough to think over a proposal and reply NO/YES. If no fyn he'll look for where he'll b accepted,if yes Alhamdulillah. Another point there is no harm in a sister asking for a brother...the fear of turnng down shouldn't be there...it's either you are accepted or rejected whether it's a bro-sis or sis-bro proposal. I don't knw y some sisters keep brothers in a waiting state for about a year or more...without saying NO/YES I don't knw whether it's frm their processor that has low processing speed... You'll ask for a sister...she'll say I'll thnk over it and keep u in a waiting state for long... |

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. @Busar,jazakallahu khair for such beautiful reminders on bidi'a(innovation) and it's consequences. I want to remind us about few things. Firstly,these hadiths on innovation are refering to INNOVATION of acts of IBADATS which were not endorsed by Allah s.w.t and/or Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h. Not innovations like cars,bicycle,aeroplane,etc In the above you qouted they are cautioning us on d effects of celebrating birthdays...treatng d day with special attention,parties emulating d kuffarsetc.The Prophet p.b.u.h said we shld be different frm jews and xtians. A brother I met on facebook was telling me that tafsir,maulid(celebration of the Prophet's birthday) and qur'anic musabaqa(competition) are all acts of ibadats that were innovated.He further classified innovation of act of ibad@ into two(gud-Tafsir n Maulid, bad-musabaqa).Though I agreed with him that maulid is an innovation.But I ddnt I agree wth d two classifications-gud/bad.Wakullu bidi'atin daolala,wa kullu daolalatin fin naar...every innovation(of acts of ibadat) is misguidance,every misguidance leads to hell fire...rough trans May Allah guide us all.ameen |
