what you need to actually register is an LLC. Having an ordinary business name might not cut it. Having an LLC will also increase your chances of easily accessing loans in the future.
Nah! Business name will suffice for loans. keeping Income statement and balance sheet is more important

i grew to know my dad as a farmer, but he stopped farming b4 i was matured enogh to learn the ropes__my dad didnt become rich by farming, but i enjoyed it.

My point__my enquiry wasnt a result of my eye on the profit

That's good... Get good seeds and start very small on a plot u can manage on your own. Grow 2-3 vegetables that sells quick. You're allowed to make mistakes as a beginning farmer. Don't sweat it. Grow, harvest, eat/sell.
Your profits will come as will ur experience. You'll love farming...

business name got their TIN from state board of internal revenue because they their tax to the state while limited liability company pays to FIRS and so got their TIN from FIRS. once you got your TIN from either FIRS or state revenue JTB will automatically generate another TIN for you. you don't need to go JTB. my company have two TIN, one with FIRS and one from JTB
So what happens when you relocate yourself and your business to another state?
Note: a sole proprietor needs just one TIN

In the tenor in months, I selected 24 and the motoridun in months, I selected 12. I hope I am on point?

BTW,I applied household loan and It was successful, are they confirming it to us via email? Cos I haven't receive any message..

@eassy007 manlawal truvine peeps4u kingbee90 et.al

Tenor is the repayment period u want. The 24 u chose is 2yrs.
Moratorium is Grace period (pun intended)... how long before you start the payment. 12 is 1yr

Pls forgive my laziness

according to the topic

is it possible to make 500k from a plot of land.

If yes, how much do i need to invest atleast to achieve this.(excluding cost of land)

can it be achieved 3 times a year

pls find time to answer

tnks in anticipation
Even the most experienced farmer may not achieve this feat. Do not just pursue farming purely because of the gains. It ain't oil money.

Not here to discourage you !

But I’d advise you to look for all those agents that can help you fast track the process

I’ve done all the necessary things since over a month

The process has been on pending approval and I’ve tried sending mail and calling them, all effort to reach them proof abortive
Exactly. Initially I used phone to register and my registration was queried. I couldn't rectify it and had to email and call them several times. No reply or answer from them. I just decided to use a PC and that's how I discovered it's only on a PC u can rectify a query. To worsen maters the English they blow on your query may not even relate to what they what u to do.. so stupid.
Instead of them to tell me to upload payment receipts they said "fill proprietor details complete and submit". Poor site they have and poor customer service as well.

Goodday everyone, pls can someone put me through on how to register my business. The processes and the fee and documents that I ll be needing.i m doing it myself online. Thanks in anticipation.
1. Register an account on CAC website.
2. Make a name reservation N500 and some service charge of about 116
3. Once name is reserved you'll log in and copy ur name reservation code. Use that code to commence the business registration process.
Payment for Business reg thru remita is 10k, plus some service charge
4. Fill the form and upload the required documents (passpt, means of ID, Signature and payment receipts)
5. Wait for it to be approved if all goes well.

Mine was a hassle. I was queried several times so here are some tips for u to avoid the pitfalls.
* Sign your signature on a white sheet of paper and upload.
* When uploading documents, the one marked others (last one) is where u upload receipt (I didn't upload initially and I was queried.)
*Keep ur business description brief. About 100 characters per nature of business.
*they only accept pdf or JPEG so used a PDF merger to merge ur ID card back and front before uploading.
*use PC for ur registration to make ur life easy
*If u need more assistance just ask.

Cheers and Good luck mate!

I'm still yet to apply because of this nonsense BVN. Is it just me or there are other people having issues with it? I even tried going to a cafe. Good gracious. Nawa oooo.
Someone here dropped a good hint on how to handle easy registration and it's what I did using my phone because for the past 3 days I couldn't register until last night when I tried that method.
Once you click on the "New" applicant to move to the next section, choose ur title from the drop down and the enter ur bvn. While the cursor is still on your bvn hit next button on your keyboard. That's the magic, it'll move u to the next section to choose ur state. I did mine on Mobile, Firefox.

I heard Nirsal is now using the covid 19 funds for their own loan arrangements. That's why a lot of people who where approved since last year/ this year has not received their money. I don't know how true this is
Some of you should really think with your brain before you post. Posting any rumour you hear tarnishes their image.
How will they use the money for their own disbursement when it's the CBN that pays. NIRSAL is just to verify, approve and forward names for disbursement

Acidosis:

You can register a new business and get the new e-certificate in 3-5 working days. However, be informed that it might take a while for your new business to reflect on the CAC public search portal.

Registrations on the survival fund platform using the new CAC e-certificate came back invalid/unverified. Not only that, you won't find your business name online when you use the public search option on CAC website.

So unless you're asked to upload the e-certificate (it's a pdf file) for physical verification, I'm sorry o
Its just the registered number they require. This NYIF loan will be on ground for awhile.
From when you're done with training to uploading details your CAC would be ready. It's what I wanna do. No rush for me

Good morning,

Please which one is Local Government Certificate? Is it my own or the one for my business?

And for non registered company, is it possible to collect upto #3,000,000 as shown in the picture below?
It's your cert of origin. You're applying as an individual so it's only fair they verify u as a Nigerian

If one can get CAC certificate can it still be useful for this NYIF, I put in for that survival found but update yet, if it will still work for this I can still quickly work it out

I pray the should wave the CAC certificate
You can still register CAC and use for this one. There's nothing like waver. If your business is not registered, u can only get 300k Max. If you have CAC, u can apply up to 3 million.

I was sent same link and it's the same for the past 4days now. I tried sending them mail through their contact link but it just returns "system error" every time. Called the contact line on their site and no one pick.

You people on NL are always too quick to tag someone as scam. During the rush period of the covid19 loan application, NIRSAL site was too heavy or busy to process the request so they used google forms. Check the pages during June, links of google forms were posted here and it's through the form I applied with the man I did for who has since gotten his approval.

However, the loan closed in June so I don't know how the guy applied for it in December.

Same applies to buying and selling of Naira....crypto is not an investment. Crypto is money , used to buy and sell like any other currency. It can only be viewed as an asset if its value increases relative to the base currency.
Bless you. I couldn't have explained it better. This simple concept is what many can't get down. SMH...
