iamJ:Yes yes yes, because criminals have never used fiat to move cash in the history of currency before. It's obvious you don't know much about cryptocurency. But I can guarantee, years from now you'll be involved because that's where the world is headed. All the big companies in the world now hold BTC, Some of the richest pple in the world own it and it's done of the poorest in the world that'll be calling it "Ponzi scheme". BTC is not pinkcoin o. Know the difference. I rest my case with you. 10 Likes 1 Share |

BuddhaPalm:He's right. The world is moving away from fiat to crypto. There are crypto ATMs in Europe and the US/Canada where u can fund ur cards with crypto and use it to trade/pay. Many online stores also accept bitcoin payment. Admittedly in Africa it's still in the nascent stage. 15 years from now crypto will be the main trading medium and there ain't nothing the cbn can do about it. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

iamJ:How come you only look at the "negative" side of it. Fiat like the Naira also plummets or gains, do you hold the government responsible? BTC, BNB, ETH and other alts have gained immensely since inception and will only get better. Imagine if u had 2 BTC 5yrs ago and you hodl, would u be saying all this? Contrast that to having 18 million in the bank from 5yrs ago, now it's value would have only diminished as the Naira has "plummeted" since bubu took power. 7 Likes |

I am so sad right now. The other man I applied on his behalf - a pastor has been scammed of his money. He got the approval on 23rd like most and accepted the offer same day, 280k. Last night we were discussing and he mentioned to us (couple of his friends) that he received a call at noon from his "fcmb account officer" telling him his account needs to be updated. Long story short, the scammer asked him to call back a code sent to his phone, and he did. He had last week filled and submitted an "women enpowement" form. I think that's were the scam came from. I advised him first thing this morning he should reach his bank so they could block the account or do something helpful to him. But alas, NIRSAL credited his account at just past 11 pm last night, and this morning by 6am his account was wiped clean. Anyone who has experience on this should please advise on how to handle such. |

Those of us who have applied since April till June and have not gotten approval, think hard as to what might be the cause in your application process that is making them approve some pple who applied before you. It go me thinking and I discovered a mistake I might have made in my application process. Now, I don't know this for sure, but its a theory I think might cause lack of approval on my part. I applied for sme when the link for household wasn't going, and when the link for household later went through, I successfully applied on 12th of June. Yet most who applied after 12th are getting approval. The way the date field was designed in the application form was not friendly or helpful to applicants. On the field where you get asked to choose date you established ur business, I couldn't be patient to navigate backwards to 2013 when I started my biz so I just chose April 2020 for convenience. Now, thinking about it, the covid19 loan was to help established businesses who were affected by the pandemic, not newly established businesses which, going by the date I had input was a new business created during the pandemic. I don't know if this is a criteria for certain, so I want to ask the house if anyone who has been approved or paid input their business creation date within this year? Did u have ur business created this year (what you entered in the form) March - June and got approval? Pls answer so we can disprove or affirm this theory. Others can contribute what they think might be causing no approval for some of us. I know some who didn't use either TIN or CAC also got sme approval. I'm sick of seeing "bvn doesn't exist" all the time. 1 Like |

Why don't you people want to go to the court? I know this country is bad, but get your own lawyer and seek his counsel. He can work with the lawyer police appointed or take over your case. How did you make the rent payments? Is there no evidence that you paid the landlord? Did he issue you receipt? Did you make bank deposit/transfer?( I hope this is the one you did) Provide evidence to the court or to another police station that could help you. Good luck! 1 Like |
