Technology favors English for us because we can't manufacture and can't bring all ethnic languages in Nigeria together. Something like Nigerian English... that can't be done..we hardly accomplish anything other corruption. To worsen it, people say it is not our mother tongue. Use Yoruba on an ibo person... haha. So now I should learn your language? Why should I? Don't I have mine? No confluence!

You can be abroad but unable to speak the dominant language. That slows down your progress. Too afraid to honor an appointment or interview.

I'm still learning and I have over-stayed my welcome.

l know, it ought to start from the kindergarten level because that is the foundation, once it goes to the primary & secondary levels, it spills over to the tertiary level, it becomes difficult to correct because the foundation is faulty,but, with guys like you here and others, those who are willing can learn and un-learn...........

Kunleoduwole: Hello House,yesterday i was at the uk vfs to pick my application .Upon opening the package,i discovered my passport was not inside,but the note inside the pack said my passport has been retained because it had counterfeit Nigerian and Ghana immigration stamps. Though prior to my applying for a uk visa,last year i gave my passport to an agent to help me stamp on it to show fat i had a little travel history.The note further said enquiries will be undertaken before the passport will be forwarded to Nigeria immigration abuja..Dont know what to do now.

priest2u: I have one question for you , is marriage only for the rich or comfortable? Poor people also get married , raised kids and that's d fact of life . Don't work yourself too much over things you can't understand . Even your bible says " he made both d poor and d rich " . The idea that a man must be comfortable before getting married is so wrong , he just need to look for a woman at his own level . There is a man for every woman and vice versa.
There are so many market women with petty trade in Nigeria sending their children to higher institution . A strong and virtuous woman can never be afraid to get married to a poor man #FACT#
