As I was saying in the earlier post, there is room for correcting but There is an order to go about it. Anybody that skips the order laid in scripture has erred OR has a wrong Spirit in him. I have seen this Truth play itself out in many ministry's this is the reason why many people's ministry never grow. I learned this particularly from the ministry of kenneth hagin, I recommend people should go and read this book "love the way to victory" . Correcting others must be with decency, with love, as a minister it's allowed to preach against wrong doctrines and Illuminate (someone will call me a free mason Because of that word lol) others with the word of God but When it gets to the point where the pulpit turns to a platform of mentioning NAMES and throwing stones then that person has a spirit of error. Let's all keep looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and recognize that men of God are humans and they can err but we shouldn't use this opportunity to tear them down.

My brother God bless you, you see the issue is not about shielding men of God. It's about letting all things to be done in decency and in the love of God. Jeremiah didn't just wake up to prophesy against the false prprophets, he was sent by God by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He had a clear supernatural revelation of who they were and was given what to say. He didn't pick up a fake certificate online to slander men of God. Number (2) What does the Bible say about correcting erring brothers and Men of God in the faith?

You see even if we are to correct it must be in LOVE, you don't just go about rabidly attacking someone else ministry on social media. And look no matter how archaic and unpleasant it sounds to many, God's anointed is still God's anointed if he's genuinely called by him. If the person makes a mistake and u jump at it to slander them you may face a repercussion. I Once heard the story of a woman who heard a pastor preaching and scoffed the man, now the pastor didn't hear this but the Holy Spirit did. She became barren for years, not until when God revealed this to another pastor who then told her to go and look for the man of God to pray for her did her womb open. See there are many pastors I consider fake but I'm also careful how I talk about them, I rather walk away from their ministries. Look there are fake men of God but there also very real men of God who are not normal beings, if you slander them you may not escape even if it was them that were in error. Samuel's children were corrupt llike Eli's own yet when the children of Israel used this as an excuse to request a king from God, God was provoked and told Samuel that they didn reject Samuel but him. Concerning Thrones and Dominion UPDATE

In the book of Daniel chapter 10 vs 13 specifically spoke about the Prince of Persia. And same Chapter we see Prince of Greece and Micheal your Prince
We see the Bible speaking of Spiritual beings parading themselves over the affairs of nations either placed there by God or Satan.
lets go further. For illustrative purposes, lets move on to Chapter 11 of Daniel. If you start from the beginning, you see Gabriel giving Daniel the insight into the visisions he had earlier on. Different kings, kingdoms and domain.
Daniel 11:5
[I] And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion . [/I]

Dominion here is associated with rule and kingdom. So a throne exist in the world of man and same with a corresponding existence in the spirit world. (Remember the princes in chapter 10 of Daniel.) If that throne is dedicated to God as we have seen above and will see later, God's divine authority will be over it. But if it's established by satan, we see his agents presiding over it.

Now as posted earlier, we saw Michael mentioned in Chapter 10, Daniel Chapter 12 vs 1 throws more light as follows, Michael is seen as a prince over Israel with God's plans and purposes to be carried out.

1. Tyrus - is the Nation, is the Domain or Dominion

2. The Prince of Tyrus - Is a man, the King/Ruler in the Physical or Natural realm. he sat on the Throne.

3. The King of Tyrus - was the Principal agent of darkness controlling the affairs of that nation.

As clearly seen from the above, we believers can either pray for our nation and leaders as directed by Paul or we will continue to suffer consequences of not praying for them and taking dominion of the spiritual atmosphere over us.

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

So, thrones and dominions go hand in hand behind every king, president, governor ruler is a spirit of God or devil

What if I had prayed abt it? .
The next time God will give me a warning about the nation was some days to the initially scheduled date of the election, as I listened to the news that morning I caught a warning that I needed to pray or there will be serious bloodshed, this time around I told my fellow Corp members in the Corper's fellowship and we prayed, I had a vigil with a friend and we prayed to the point we just knew we had gotten an answer. Immediately after that they postponed the election for 6 weeks, and in that time Boko Haram was ravaged, not only that but Gej handed over peacefully. Nigerians will never know the level of divine intervention that took place, a civil war could have easily happened. Prayers move mountains.

In January this year during my church's 21 days fast God showed me before hand the problems this nation is facing today.
I was praying in tongues in the office, and I fell into a trance, in The trance I saw a large molded map of nigeria on the floor, Then I saw an Ibo man take a cutlass and walked straight to the map and divided a portion of the south south part of Nigeria and said we will divide this country Like this, then suddenly an Hausa man appeared behind him and pushed him away and said No it is this way, and right before me other people joined and big fight happened. In the trance I perceived that there was no basis for their quarrel but rather it appeared an evil entity was actually manipulating them and i was perplexed and started Crying out because they were fighting the wrong enemy "Why? Why are this people fight? "then I woke up. That same day, I was with a friend who has revelation gifts as we were praying abt something else, God showed Him the flag of Nigeria that we should pray about the country, but I don't think we really prayed well about it. So when all this pipeline bombings and more just started I just knew it was partly my fault. Because the problem of this country is not Buhari OR anyone in power. It's the Spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies over nigeria that's at work. Until we taking praying for our leaders seriously and for revival things will get worse. IN FACT THINGS WILL GET WORSE, HOW DO I KNOW, THATS ANOTHER STORY FOR ANOTHER TIME.

The next thing I noticed was they both turned to big snakes and became increasingly difficult to subdue and one of them was even trying to escape my grasp and bite my fingers. That's was when I woke up.

I know where I am coming from, so I need to be careful who I listen to.

My sister we are here to edify ourselves not to tear down the body of Christ , if you have reservations about a preacher, social media is not the right place for you to find out, it's on your knees one on one with God. If you have reservations about a preacher avoid the person's teaching and church, you're not forced to accept their person. All of us have pastors who we suspect or know to be false, but we don't put their names on social media to slander them. Please be very cautious, any thing a child of God says that doesn't edify the body of Christ is not of God. There are many men and women of God out there, if your spirit identifies with them, flow with them and leave pastor Adeboye and his ministry alone. If you don't know, don't talk and grieve the Holy Spirit. It's not everything that the eyes sees or the ears hear that the mouth is supposed to say. If you've encountered the person of the Holy Spirit, you don't need to slander any pastor, you will know on the inside of you who is sent and who is not. Lastly be careful. That's all.

Lol no one can raise the dead, it's God at work in us that does it, Without him we can do nothing. Any child of God can raise the dead by the empowerment of God in him or her, It's nothing special. I don't see how the issue of raising the dead is relevant to your faith, what you need now is the word of God. The Bible says as new born babes desire the sincere milk of the Word (1 Peter 2:2) It's the word of God that will grow you. Get a Bible and start reading from Matthew OR John and pray for God to lead you to the church he wants you to be, that's all. Leave the issue of dead or alive and pastor Adeboye lol. Number 2, even if I don't attend RCCG, I respect the dimension of anointing he carries, he's a once in a generation God's general, I have had clear supernatural encounters where God was pointing clearly to me to draw virtue from him, he's also a deep teacher of the word from the little of his books and messages I have listened to. Number 3. One trickery of the devil is that he's always out to disconnect you from the God ordained pastor or prophet sent to you. In Jer 3:15 God said I will ordained unto you pastors after my own heart. Every believer has a God ordained teacher sent to them, you can't choose, you only discover who that person is, if you miss it, you will miss out big time. Most time the devil will always rubbish that person before you and if care is not taken you may miss it. The Devil did it to me for yrs, before God illuminated me. Pray and ask for direction, I believe There is a word for you in the mouth of pastor Adeboye that the devil doesn't want you to connect with. Good day

The Holy Spirit not only quickens your spirit man and mind, it also quickens your physical body. He gives supernatural virtue to it. So you can't be continually filled with the Holy Spirit and be knocked down with sickness or feebleness. Of course that's the truth, but if the Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit and ignorant of this, the devil can have his way. That's why the word is so vital.

But what i would tell you categorically is these:

Spiritual Warfare cannot be over done.

Now, For you to engage in effective spiritual warfare you need the basis, which is the been born again, Having a relationship with God among other things.

Spiritual Warfare is needed to subdue the flesh.

Spiritual Warfare is needed to live a holy life.

Can you explain what you mean by Spiritual Ignorance?

Sometimes when you praise the lord you are in Warfare..

I have seen cases where prayers have been made concerning a particular situation and nothing has Happened and the lord said start to do praise and worship. And immediately there was an instant answer, Does that mean there was not warfare, No. because it was praise and worship that provided does not mean warfare did not take place.

I just want you to know that to walk these christian journey to the very end requires Warfare, From the days of John the baptist the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent takes it by force, A man can be born again, Living right, Spirit filled and still be under oppression, A man can be born again spirit filled and the enemy can hijack the blessing of God for the life.

What Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary was to give us a ticket to sure victor,a ticket to heaven, Accepting him ensures that when your victory is secured and sure.

thank you very much sir, you very right sir. warfare as led by the spirit of God is the way. what spurred me to write this is because i'm tired of people attributing every little thing to demons or one wicked witch from the village or one ancestral curse . you need to see how ignorant people are, there is this church just in the next compound of where i live. they spend 80% of the time fighting imaginary demons, strongmen from the village and ancestral curses(this may be the actual problem sometimes), no prayers for word increase, none for conviction and conversion of souls, little about holiness, little or no sound teaching on core biblical concepts such as faith, grace, the holy spirit and more, guess what the church has had little or no growth in 10 years. My advise to people is when you see a pastor or prophet and all he does is see visions,prophesy, bind and cast and gives little or no room for sound teaching, just run ,you are about to enter one chance be that. Heaven and earth will pass away, but God's word remains the sure thing.

Let me testify how this works with me.
Sometime ago, i asked God to guide me in the prayer because when i came to God in prayer, either i didn't always know what to pray for, or even when i did, it was as if something wasn't right somewhere. Yes, i had a clumsy prayer life
So i said to God " Look, it's as if i don't know what i usually ask for, maybe i don't know how to ask or probably i lack the necessary wisdom. You teach me how to pray to you"

God's answer: If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.James 1:5.
I will teach you. You are a learner from now on. As a learner, you are in no position to make requests... for the moment. You let Me be your guide...and trust.

So this is how it's been going on:

If i do prayer warfare or any other prayer for example, i sometimes hear "Praise here". It may be for a day, or it may last a WHOLE week. There was a week here on Nairaland where i had to saturate my space with praise songs before this thread opened. How do you think i managed to hold this thread for so long

I may want to pray in tongues, sometimes one little "pressure" will urge me to read the Word instead or a partuicular scripture. This might last an hour or days on end

I may want to worship, something will "zoom" through my mind like "Tongues instead"

I may want to pray about something and one pressure will stop me and something will cross my mind like "Have faith here; do not dwell on that topic" or "just overlook this situation; it's a distraction; nothing serious here"

I may do prayer warfare and there will be a feeling of encouragement or even funnier i will hear this voice, you know the tone you employ when you looking at someone with side-eye " You know you have to forgive (so and so) here, naaw. Which one is binding and casting again? The most powerful weapon here is forgiveness"


If i feel fed up, i may be led to listen to worship songs or a particular song....

or i may NOT want to do something, (yes i get lazy and annoyingly petty sometimes ) despite knowing God's opinion about it (Humans, ehn, i tell you! ). And that voice will be adamant : "You will only do it!!!" and i will not have any peace that day unless i do it. I will sulk and fret and fuss. But that voice will maintain its position " Look, it's your time you're wasting, not mine. Don't forget I am the God that does not change; whatever you decide will NEVER change the fact that I remain God. It is you that will not go anywhere and eventually lose, if you don't do what I tell you; so the earlier, the better for you"

you are so on point. There are many times, I will like to do something else different from God's plan and it doesn't just flow. Sometimes I will be like sebi God likes worship and when I start I just get stuck and I get a nudge to study instead. The truth is we all have to be Led by the Holy Spirit, we don't decide for God how we serve him, he decides what he likes per time.

One of the least understood scriptures in the bible which many so FAKE DELIVERANCE ministers and warfare prayer addicts have turned upside down is Ephesians 6:12

Many people just take this verse out of context and run with it. Kenneth Hagin would always say when people don’t have a sound understanding of a thing God says or is planning to do, they run into excesses and get into confusion and error.
Yes there is actually a wrestling against the forces of darkness, I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL BELIEVERS. But it’s not in the way many people view it. Some people have turn this to 90% of their prayer points, binding and casting every dream, every cat or bird, mother in law, trying to kill demon spirits and more. You will see so many churches holding many crusades with many funny titles around, yet most of these churches have no results, some even go as far as wearing military camouflage .lol.. THE PROBLEM IS THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS CHAPTER WAS SAYING ABOUT THEIR ADVERSARY “THE DEVIL”. But what does the bible say about warfare against him. Ephesians 6: 11-13 kjv

What we however have to fight are the wiles and trickery of the devil.
At creation devil had no power over the pre-fall man, he used the trickery to beat man and get the right to oppress the fallen man, but the resurrected man in Christ Jesus has now being taken back and even higher to the status of the pre-fall man in dominion. So the devil has gone to back to basics by using the same trickery to get to the resurrected man. THAT’S THE REAL WARFARE. THAT WAS WHAT GAVE PAUL CONCERN. 2 COR 11:3

The bible described the devil (king of Tyrus) has created by God, FULL OF WISDOM (Ezekiel 28:12-17).

That’s why one of his biggest weapons is fear. He gives someone a scare in dreams like Job (job 7:13-14), then fear enters the believer and the devil uses this portal to send in his other demon agents and it happens (Job 3:25). What a simple rebuke of the devil will stop, people start reading funny meanings like spirit husband and wife etc. (I’m not saying these aren’t the problem sometimes) and start a prayer of unbelief thinking that’s warfare prayer. DON’T BE TOO HASTY TO LABEL A DREAM AN OPPRESSION OF THE DEVIL, MOST TIMES IT’S JUST HIS SCARE TACTICS.
The devil will try to use OUR IGNORANCE, guilt of past sins, besetting sins, culture, superstitions, wrong doctrine, friends, family, even brethren in the faith indirectly as weapons of his trickery.
Most times the actual problem may even arise because we don’t control our flesh and carnal thoughts and he capitalizes on this. He often tries to get me in particular by either being too busy with my Job or too busy trying to help others instead of watching my own standing and daily communion with God.

THAT’S WHY PEOPLE PRAY AND PRAY AND GET NO RESULT AND SOME PEOPLE CONFRONT THE DEVIL AND GET RESULTS QUICKLY. I will like to add that there are some things you can’t pray into, you just have to get the necessary scriptural principle and operate it. God is a covenant keeping God, when we play our part, he plays his part. FOR EXAMPLE, YOU CAN’T PRAY AND BIND YOUR WAY INTO KINGDOM PROSPERITY, YOU JUST HAVE TO DISCOVER THE BIBLICAL SECRETS TO IT AND APPLY IT IN FAITH AND THE DEVIL BECOMES POWERLESS TO STOP YOU.
SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION IS MORE KEY FOLKS, FOR EXAMPLE IF A SOMEONE IS HAVING MARITAL DELAY, INSTEAD OF TELLING THE PERSON TO GO AND FAST FOR 7 DAYS AND BIND ALL THE IMAGINARY DEVIL AND WITCHES. I WILL RATHER TELL THE PERSON TO GET ILLUMINATED FIRST ON GOD’S WILL ABOUT MARRIAGE, I WILL LET THE PERSON DO A SELF DIAGNOSTIC CHECK AND SEE WHETHER THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THEIR HABITS AND BELIEFS, I DID RATHER LET THE PERSON CHECK WHETHER THEY WILL MAKE A GOOD SPOUSE FIRST, I WILL RATHER LET THEM KNOW THAT ,HE THAT FINDETH A WIFE, FINDETH A GOOD THING (PROV 18:22)AND THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD SHALL NOT LACK ANY GOOD THING (PSALMS 34:10), THAT HE SETS THE SOLITARY IN FAMILY (PSALMS 68:6) AND THAT GOD SAID WE SHOULD NOT TELL A PERSON TO GO AND COME AGAIN IF IT’S IN OUR POWER TO DO IT (PROV 3:27-28), HENCE HE’S COMMITED TO ANSWER THEM WITH SPEED IF THEY ASK HIM USING HIS WILL (1 JOHN 5:14-15) ON THE MATTER (THOSE HIGHLIGHTED SCRIPTURES ABOVE) ……. The ANOINTING OF GOD on your life attracts attack and you can`t carry this anointing and not deliver people who are possessed, in bondage or in chain and when you are doing this you are affecting the kingdom of darkness negatively and you think they will not attack you abi? You are absolutely right that we need to do warfare, in fact we fight and win battles everyday that we don't know of. I'M JUST WARNING AGAINST EXCESSES. we must be led by the Spirit of God always. The reality is there are three kind of churches and Christians today. we have on one extreme the buttie/21st century Christians who don't wanna do any warfare, they rather ignore the reality of demons and wickedness of the the world, they are the one's where the church has turned into a socializing and networking center . then on another extreme are people who ascribe every problems to demons, they are the ones who are always binding and casting, always seeing visions, these are Christians who never give room to sound doctrine, they never allow the word to dwell richly in them, they are in perennial fear of the devil. they warfare in the flesh. in both cases demon rule and ravage them. but there is a third group, who feed on the word, they are aware of their covenant rights. they know when to engage in warfare and when not to. they make spiritual diagnosis by the helps of the Holy spirit through the word or via the various gifts of the spirit and they apply the right scriptural prescription. this is the triumphant church and that's where God wants his people to be.

Why warfare prayers shouldn’t be the mainstay of a believer’s prayer life part 1?

I felt compelled to write this piece here to put some things in their correct perspective and help those who may not have much depth in God’s word yet that visit this forum regularly. I want to add that with all sense of humility that I am just a learner in this kingdom (less than 2yrs in the faith) so maybe some of what I am saying may be from ignorance and I’m open to corrections.

I’ve noticed a dangerous trend where warfare prayers is embraced in excess in churches nowadays. It’s also common that we prescribe it a lot for people that make enquiries on every little challenge, dreams or nightmare. I find this disturbing because having studied the bible a little, the lifestyle of many giants in the faith and anointed books on prayer of men with proofs of dominion like Kenneth Hagin, Bishop Oyedepo, I have realized surprisingly that warfare prayer should be the least on the prayer list on a Christian. Shocking right? Here are my reasons:
From Ephesians 6:18, we are made to understand that there are different kinds of prayer. And we ought to learn how to engage all of them as the spirit leads per time, we are not to be fixated on only one kind of prayer. The whole world lies in wickedness (1 John 5:19) and we have to fight battles from time to time. But the reason why MANY CHRISTAINS ARE DEFEATED IN BATTLE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO FIXATED ABOUT THE BATTLES THAN MAKING THEMSELVES BATTLE READY ALL THE TIME. IT’S JUST LIKE USAIN BOLT BEING OBSESSED ABOUT ONLY THE OLYMPICS 100 M FINAL (WHERE THE WARFARE PRAYER IS NEEDED) AND NOT TAKING THE DAY TO DAY TRAINING AND DIETING SERIOUS (WORD AND OTHER KINDS OF PRAYER). HE WILL FAIL WOEFUL. WHY? “If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small” (proverbs 24:10) The focus of a believer should not be about binding every imaginary devil. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT CHANGING HIS LEVEL OF COMMAND AND SPIRITUAL STRENGTH FIRST. DON’T BE WARFARE CONSCIOUS, BE GOD CONSCIOUS, BE RIGHTEOUSNESS CONSCIOUS, BE POWER CONSCIOUS, BE REVELATION CONSCIOUS, BE WORD CONSCIOUS. KNOW WHO THE WORD OF GOD SAYS YOU ARE FIRST, BUILD YOUR FAITH, BUILD POWER FIRST OR WARFARE PRAYERS WILL BE FRUSTATING. MAKE YOUR AXE SHARP FIRST AND THEN YOU CUT THE TREE WITH ONE STRIKE.
Warfare prayers are weapons of offense but they are only effective in the hands of people who are skilled (Heb 5:14). That’s why by mere appearance of one person all the demons have taken to their heels while, another person has shouted in Jesus name 100 times and use 10 buckets of anointing oil and yet the demon is just there chilling..lol . Every born again Christian is a light (matt 5:13 and 14) but the level of brightness differs. We should be more focused about increasing our intensity by being more like Christ in holiness and dominion. Most times the devil attacks me, I do less of warfare prayers, instead I search myself to see the loopholes I left, I repent of them and sanctify myself, I study and pray to change my level of command and for revelation on what I must do and that’s it. There is an extent of power you carry, some demons don’t come near you.

STUDY THE NEW TESTAMENT WELL, YOU WON’T SEE THE APOSTLES STRUGLING AND WAILING BECAUSE OF TINY DEMONS EXCEPT ONLY ONCE IN MATTHEW 17:21 BECAUSE THEIR LEVEL OF COMMAND WAS LOW THEN. IT’S NOT FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WHERE WARFARE PRAYERS WAS THEIR FOCUS. RATHER YOU WILL FIND PRAYERS ABOUT BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, WITH WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, PRAYER FOR THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL, PRAYER FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW CONVERTS, PRAYER FOR LEADERS, PRAYER FOR SANCTIFICATION, PRAYERS FOR OUTBREAK OF SIGNS AND WONDERS, PRAYERS FOR DIVINE GUIDANCE.

As I round up this first part, I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT ON THE DAY OF BATTLE, “YOU DON’T WARFARE WITH THE DEVIL” THAT’S A BLATANT MISNOMER AND THAT MENTALITY IS A SNARE, IF YOU WARFARE WITH HIM HE WILL BE BEAT YOU. WHAT WE DO IS TO “EXERCISE AUTHORITY”. YOU TELL HIM “ SATAN STOP THERE “ AND HE STOPS, YOU TELL HIM “SATAN GET LOST” AND HE GETS LOST, YOU TELL HIM SHUT UP AND HE SHUTS UP. YOU DON’T FIGHT HIM LOL, IN BOXING YOU ONLY FIGHT SOMEONE OF YOUR WEIGHT CATEGORY. NO! YOU DON’T, YOU ARE NOT HIS WEIGHT CATEGORY, YOU ARE CARRYING JESUS’S WEIGHT CATEGORY. WHY? BECAUSE YOU MUST HAVE BUILT AUTHORITY IN GOD’S WORD AND IN PRAYER. THE DEVIL IS TOO SMALL TO BE THE FOCUS OF YOUR PRAYER LIFE, THAT YOU NOW GO ON PRAYER AND FASTING BECAUSE OF HIM ALL THE TIME. GOD AND HIS KINGDOM SHOULD BE THE FOCUS (MATT 6:33) AND AS YOU DO, YOU BECOME MORE LIKE HIM. I REMEMBER THE LAST TIME ONE TINY DEMON ATTACKED ME, I WOKE TO SEE HE HAD HELD ME DOWN. THE MORE I STRUGGLED, THE MORE IT OVERPOWERED ME. THEN I WAS LIKE GOD WHATS HAPPENING KE? A SMALL VOICE SPOKE FROM WITHIN “DON’T OVERESTIMATE THE ENEMY”. I have attended an intercessory meeting and one of the ministers was calling prayer points and I just saw him in front of an alfa like he had don consultation there, I just shake my head, but we have a lot of them, I have been in a ministration and the pastor the lord said these and I hear I didn't tell him that one, he just added his own. What am I saying make all man hokd himself, Grow spiritually, every man can hear God, there is nothing a pastor would tell me now, that I don't already know, when he begin to say another thing I will correct and say daddy GO, Gid did not tell me that.

Two book that really taught me how to deal with men of God is "how to be led by the Spirit of God by Kenneth hagin" and how you can be in the perfect will of God by heward dag mills. anything a man of God tells me that doesn't go with what i sense inside of me is always discarded.

I had this interesting dream early Friday morning.
But before I proceed I will like to put some things in context.
1. I had being having a lot of significant dreams lately and occasionally trances. Some I understand and some I don’t. Some downright scary and some lovely, it’s being an eventful time where I have being facing many tough decisions about my calling, career and the lady I am dating. Increasingly everything just looks like I have been walking in my own plans instead of God’s will.
2. On Thursday I had a very hot debate with some atheist and Muslims on my Facebook page. The zeal couldn’t just keep me quiet, and some of then that were my colleagues were probably offended. So I wandering I went too far, or just chill small with my one man Jesus brigade.
3. Then I innocently looked for trouble as I laid in bed, I pray that if God wanted to show me a dream from him this night, it should give me more clarity on some decisions I need to make and I don’t want dreams I forget or the ones I don’t know the interpretation (all the lazy me had in heart was a short cut and final confirmation that I needed to end my relationship with my GF, so I can make one decision first)
4. I woke up around 3 am and tried to do my usual prayers, for a while, I was awake, but this heavy uncontrollable sleep just came, so I tried resisting by praying in tongues eventually I gave up and laid on my bed praying in tongues quietly and that was it.

I said all this to emphasize that I wasn’t thinking anything along the line of what I saw, which could have made me had a soulish dream

What I saw!
I saw myself with an old phone of mine. When I was using the phone, I was a porn addict. I saw myself being drawn (like something was pulling me) to open some porn videos on it. But I was resisting, I opened one and quickly closed meanwhile I was trying to hide what I was doing from my younger sister. Then I got drawn again but this time, I rebuked the urge and shouted NO! THIS IS NOT ME. Immediately I saw myself in an open street, and I heard a voice from above (powerful yet soothing and not scary) and he started giving me a running commentary as he was showing me things to come (somehow I couldn’t remember all he said to me, maybe because of the shock of what I saw and I was too dazed to immediately put pen to paper). One word I did remember was he talked about a MASSIVE INCREASE IN IMMORALITY, I saw on the street a lawless society, a lady and guy were having fun on one corner, some guys were raping another guy on the same street, all sorts of perversion and nobody seemed to care. Then suddenly I saw two sets of army, the brutal army had subdued the other and they lied all the men on the floor as far as my eyes could see, they were buffeting them while some were being executed on the ground as far as my eyes can see. As I looked forward, I saw a DESOLATE WILDERNESS as far as I could see up to to the seashore. It was as if something burnt and destroyed everything. Just black and white sand, nothing living and when I looked up. In a few seconds I SAW THE MOON GOING OFF. It was as if it was being zipped from downwards upwards and the light went off. I didn’t look up long enough to see other things in the sky but it was evident other things were happening.
THEN I SAW ONE INTERESTING PART, I SAW A YEAR WRITTEN ON WHAT LOOKED LIKE A LARGE METAL BOARD AT A DISTANCE, BUT THE YEAR WAS PURPOSELY BLURRED, I STRAINED MY BEST TO SEE IF I COULD GET AN IDEA WHAT YR IT WAS BUT I COULDN’T, BUT I KNEW IT’S NOT FAR This part really irked me and gave me chills.
Next thing I saw was that I woke in my house (but I was actually still dreaming) I saw one of my elder sisters going to open d door, it was Sunday morning and I quickly ran to church where I met my usual evangelism partner and I narrated what I saw and that the part of the board with the year I couldn’t see was worrying but it seems to be about something concerning me instead and not the world. Then he started telling concerning the end times too that people will be obsessed with death and many will commit suicides by influences of demon spirits and some other stuff. Before I eventually woke up and realized I was in my room... lol.

I’ve been pondering on it, to understand and remember more and I want to try what I saw more with the word of God. Because u can never rule out the mind. But some of things are just so vivid particularly the moon disappearing. Recently too, I had a funny dream at night, but I was so overwhelmed I didn’t remember much but I remember the last part was a command to go preach the gospel to all the world.
I’m sorry for the length of the post. I hate being confused lol. But It looks like where I have found myself.

But what I am here to address tonight is more important. It’s the question [b]about the baptism of the Holy Spirit someone asked some days ago. The responses from the men and women of God on this group were really enlightening. I felt a strong urge to talk about it that day. But I deferred because I wanted to be sure that the words I will be speaking will be his perfect will, but I got a green light today. Apologies for the length.
BEFORE I PROCEED I WANT EVERY CAUSAL VISITOR OF THIS GROUP, WHO DESIRES THIS BAPTISM TO GET THEIR FAITH SET NOW, BECAUSE MANY OF YOU WILL BE BAPTIZED BEFORE YOU FINISH READING THIS IN JESUS NAME. WHY? AS YOU KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE (JOHN 8:32)

What is this truth? The baptism of the Holy Spirit is very easy to get! Shocking right? But that’s the truth, delete any ideology you may have had. Fasting, tarrying is o.k but that’s not our access code to get baptized. What then is the way?
1. God the father has made Jesus the only baptizer: Yes the baptism can come via laying of hands and through human mediums. But they are just mediums not the baptizer, hence you don’t actually need any man of God. You can get baptized anywhere, anytime. The reason why most people don’t get baptized is they are looking to or for a very anointed man usually a pastor to help them out. We ought to always look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2). The bible speaking of Jesus in Matthew 3:11-12 that he’s the one that baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire. So look unto him!

2. Jesus is always eager to baptize everyone interested: why?
a) Because according to prophecy the baptism is for EVERYONE (Joel 2:28-29) and God can’t lie or deny his word. Lai lai. He said I will pour my spirit on ALL flesh. So realize it’s not the exclusive right of some gifted few. It’s not for pastors or reverends or bishops. It’s for every born again child of God. So he’s eager.
b) Jesus was so eager to go to heaven to send him to you according to his word in John 16:7-8. He said it is expedient for him to go to the father to send you this big boss lol, called the Holy Spirit.
c) If our earthly father being evil knows how to give gifts, how much more shall our Heavenly Father give the Holy spirit to them that ask him (Luke 11:13). So God is eager, you don’t have to beg for it. Just ask!

3. All you need is faith like a child: THE HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE TO MY HEART WHILE PLANNING TO WRITE THIS. HE SAID WHAT YOU NEED IS FAITH LIKE A CHILD (MARK 10:15), ONLY THOSE WHO RECEIVE THE KINGDOM MYSTERIES AS A CHILD CAN HAVE ACCESS TO THEM. JUST BELIEVE. DON’T RATIONALIZE. ALL THROUGH SCRIPTURES THE WORD USED IS “RECEIVE” (Acts 2:38, 8:17, 19:2) YOU ARE TOO SMALL TO WORK TO GET HIM. He’s a gift from God (Luke 11:13), it’s the giver that works, all you need to do is have faith to receive. Because only your faith can please the giver of the gift and move him to give you (Heb 11:6). The same faith that got you born again is enough.

4. Salvation is the password: The baptism is so cheap you don’t need to perfect before he fills you, shocking right? The biblical requirement for the baptism is salvation. Acts 2:38 says repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. That’s a statement of assurance, get saved and you will receive him. You don’t have to work any work. Just get saved, believe and you receive him. I got saved and filled same day..lol. At the house of Cornelius, peter was just preaching and the Holy Spirit fell on all that heard him. They got born again and baptized in one siting (Acts 10:44). No laying of hands. Now for those that desire this infilling, I decree in the name of Jesus the Christ you are being filled right now.
IT’S NOT SCRIPTURAL THAT YOU MUST BE SANCTIFIED AND PERFECT BEFORE RECEIVING HIM. YOU CAN’T BE SANCTIFED WITHOUT HIM, HE’S ONE OF THE PRINCIPAL FORCES THAT SANCTIFY US. SO YOU DON’T WAIT TILL YOU ARE SANCTIFIED TO GET HIM. INSTEAD GET HIM, SO HE CAN SANCTIFY YOU. PLEASE READ 1C0R 6:11, ROMANS 8:15 AND ROMANS 15:16. HE SANCTIFIES YOU AMONGST MANY OTHER WAYS BY LEADING YOU IN THE PATHWAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (PSALMS 23:2, ROMANS 8:14) AND BECAUSE THE PATH OF THE JUST IS AS A SHINING LIGHT THAT SHINES MORE AND MORE UNTO THE PERFECT DAY (PROV 4:18), HE’S THEREFORE THE ONE WHO GRADUALLY PERFECTS US.
5. Ask DESPERATELY with assurance that God will baptize you then just yield yourself by opening your mouth to speak out anything that comes out of your mouth, don’t wait for one vibration or electric sensation, why?
If you ask God is too faithful to give (Luke 11:13)
When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. (Isaiah 41:17-18).
This is prophet Isaiah prophesying about John 7: 37-39 where Jesus said
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
So it’s a thirst of the spirit not flesh for those poor (desirous, craving) in spirit. I believe these words have fired the necessary zeal into your hearts. Sorry for the length of the write up. Congrats if you just got the infilling experience while reading this piece.

Anaso09. I believe we mean the same thing, however from two slightly different perspectives, just slightly though. From my little understanding man is SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY(1 Thes 5:23)
All three part of man has a voice, the voice of the spirit is the internal witness OR small still voice , while the voice of the mind is REASONING, the voice of the flesh is FEELING. The flesh (body) is always at odds with leadings of the Holy Spirit through the spirit and where they war is fought is in the MIND.
GAL 5:16-17 KJV
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
And that's why a man can Only be Spirituallly MINDED OR Carnally MINDED (flesh controlled mind) (Romans 8:6)
THE MIND IS A BATTLEFIELD BETWEEN TWO CONTRASTING FORCES. IT RECIEVES INFO FROM TWO DIFFERENT ENDS AND THE MOST SUPERIOR WINS. THAT'S WHY WE BUILD OUR SPIRIT MAN (FROM THE LEVEL OF BABE TO SONSHIP) WHILE WE RENEW OUR MINDS (CLEANSE IT DAILY FROM ALL THE LUSTFUL SIGNALS FROM THE FLESH) AND THEN PUT THE FLESH UNDER SUBMITTING TO GOD AS A LIVING SACRIFICE. When you wanna pray after a busy day, most often it's not mental fatigue you feel, it's physical fatigue, your body is aching but u know you must pray. That's an example of the battle we are talking about. Your mind doesn't feel hunger, but your body does and it's bombarding your mind with complaints. Your thoughts and Imaginations don't occur spontaneously, they are a product of what enters it. You CAN'T think of sex when you have NOT seen or heard of touched something that sowed a seed of that thought. That's why apostle Paul said in Romans 6:12 let not sin therefore reign in your MORTAL BODY, that ye should obey in the LUSTS thereof. You can see the lust originates from what the body feeds in. It is the INPUT DEVICE.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE GREATEST BATTLE OF A CHRISTAIN IS NOT AGAINST THE POWERS OF DARKNESS, BUT THE BATTLE WITHIN : THE BATTLE FOR DOMINANCE OF THE MIND BETWEEN THE FLESH AND SPIRIT.

Wow I've missed a lot sha. There is always something to learn here. Concerning the question abt the flesh and spirit, All of you have spoken well. There is one dimension to it, I got more light on recently that I wanna add.
Colossians 2:20- 23 Particularly verse 23. Mplified
20 If then you have died with Christ to material ways of looking at things and have escaped from the world’s crude and elemental notions and teachings of externalism, why do you live as if you still belong to the world? [Why do you submit to rules and regulations? —such as]

21 Do not handle [this] , Do not taste [that] , Do not even touch [them] ,

22 Referring to things all of which perish with being used. To do this is to follow human precepts and doctrines.

23 Such [practices] have indeed the outward appearance [that popularly passes] for wisdom, in promoting self-imposed rigor of devotion and delight in self-humiliation and severity of discipline of the body, but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh (the lower nature) . [Instead, they do not honor God but serve only to indulge the flesh]

In our quest to subdue the Flesh we must be cautious to be led by d Holy Spirit oR else it will be in vain. We must understand that the flesh is also vital for the pursuit of our heavenly mandate. Speaking of Jesus the Bible says a body have I prepared him (Heb 10:5, Jesus required his body, so we need ours too) . We are to present our body as a "LIVING" sacrifice not DEAD, we are to ensure it doesnt dominate us but not to kill it. in a religious attempt to subdue the flesh some people do extreme things. For example I have heard from at least two revered men in the faith Who went to extremes IN fastings and excessive work despising rest in both cases they fell ill and nearly died until they repented. God also cares about our body, take care of it. Eat well, dress well (albeit not provocatively), exercise too . For bodily exercise profited little(2tim 4:, it didn't say it didn't profit at all.. Sometimes in our excessive bid to discipline the flesh, we actually can fall into the flesh. Let's be led always, checking our conscience to see if it agrees with what we do. If the Holy Spirit through the inner man says it's time to eat "Sharwama" Or watch a GOOD movie, Do it. The life changing lesson you need may just be there. Don't say No, I must be spiritual ooh, so I must Pray 5hrs instead. or When it says buy a Good cologne to Smell good and u said NO. I must be sprikoko, Expensive perf Ke! God Forbid you lose your God ordained helper that day because, you smell funny to him or her . BE LED. SPIRITUALITY IS NOT RELIGIOUSITY. I KNOW OF A FRIEND WHO GOT HIS GOD ORDAINED VISION ON A SUNDAY MORNING WHILE GOING TO CHURCH, THE HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE TO HIM NOT TO. Recently as I was studying, the Holy Spirit gave me some confirmation on some of the things Bro CharlyG1 was saying concerning escalating activities of the forces of darkness in the end times particularly Full physical manifestation of many of these fallen angels. I was surprised that those things were actually mentioned in the Bible.. Look at these scriptures for example :

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Revelation 6:13

And the STARS OF HEAVEN fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Matthew 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the SUN be darkened, and the MOON shall not give her light, and the STARS shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

The Bible often mentions that signs in the heavenlies with regards to the end time and eventual fall of stars on the earth and men's hearts failing then for the fear of these things. But what are this stars of the heavenlies?

Rev 12:3-4 kjv
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the STARS OF HEAVEN , and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

It turns out these stars mentioned here are not actual Stars, sun and moons but representative of The fallen angels of heaven( the one 3rd that fell with Satan) including the sun god, moon god and the likes . i was surprised that I have always missed something so obvious in the Bible and often discussed on these thread. all these are actually spiritual entities of the spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies and they will made manifest physically on the earth before the 2nd coming or Christ. Mehn rapture is must ooh. Nobody wants to be around when those dudes are in full control of the earth.
