Yikes Harrison Barnes escaped with murder. Chai. Minus game 7 when Draymond was hot you could really make the case that the warriors starting 5 was playing 3 on 5 on offense. Damn! |
What even annoys me the most is not that they choose money over winning but when Bradley Beal averages 30 on a 30-52 team he begins yapping that he don't get the respect he deserve, he should be all star starter Yada Yada Yada and how he wants to win badly. Bro, you not about winning, you're about that extra 40-50 million, your front office doesn't even feel the urgency to make the team around you better. Bro you choose the Supermax over winning, enjoy it quiet and the consequences that comes with and stop bothering public peace. |
benji93:Bro you just typed bullshit. I did not say money is not important, however money should not take precedence over winning for an star athlete. They are not going to live on paper stamps anyway The purpose of competition is to win, if it isn't the priority then something is wrong. Even your local monkey post football or street basketball you don't go there to lose. You play to win. And it's not like these are poor people. If having a career earning of 350 million dollars instead of 400 million dollars will give me a chance to win I will gladly give up that 50 million. These are not guys living on paper stamps. It's a different thing if this was a GPII, boban or Javale trying to secure their future. No, this is an all star, someone with superstar potential who wants to get the respect of an all star. Players like are held to greater scrutiny. if that person not maximizing that superstar potential and pushing to be amongst the greats by winning , then that's midget mentality. |
Android17:. Baba nothing to be apologetic about, any engaged fan go vex. Having said that unless Lacob is willing to spend 200 Million on luxury tax and then 300 million in 2024 Someone has to go. I don't think it should be Poole or Wiggins sha. |
Bradley Beal is 'very likely' to opt out of his $36.4M player option and re-sign with the Wizards on a five-year max contract, per @wojespn https:///zGyDinoLv2 I have zero respect for players like Bradley beal and Dame Lillard. I am all for player loyalty but when the team you're playing for has consistently shown that they are incapable and unwilling to build a winning team around you then Bleep loyalty. Even the great Kobe Bryant threatened to leave the Lakers. Some of these players just want to hide in their comfort zone, avoid scrutiny and get the Supermax while hiding under the loyalty toga. Yet they want the respect that comes with winning titles. Winning should be 1a, Money can 1b. Bleep these mental midgets |
nairamaniac:LOL who be this |
Day 0 of 0 during the off-season without NBA drama. Wetin dy sup for Brooklyn. Bluff by all sides or beef? I feel Sean marks won't be playing a game of poker with Kyrie/KD without the billionaire owner giving him a strong backing. This could be the NBA owners vs player power showdown foreshadowing. |
Skrrrrrrr:High on Crack. If he had used the word Pilot and Co-pilot sef I would have t him some slack. The audacity to say a 2 time MVP in his prime was just a passenger on that title winning team was an insult. Steph na kuku gentleman he no go talk, I dy wait make draymond nack am him response. |
Khanben:Side effect of the lame stream media drives for ratings. Controversy courts attention which is what the media is all about. True NBA fans appreciate greatness. I don't think there has ever been any NBA player below 6 ft 5 that has had the influence and dominance of Steph. He's like the antithesis of Shaq. |
It always amazes me how random YouTube content makers have more objectivity than core NBA media. The American media is bleeped mehn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i__MdWMlVE |
Android22 is in ether mode Are you sure you're not Draymond in disguise ![]() I see say Draymond dy choke everybody even Durant don collect sub from him hand |
Skrrrrrrr:Good takes. In fact in that game 5, I thought it was more about curry missing open shots than the Celtics Defense. I also feel that experience was a major difference, the moment felt bigger than the young studs of the Celtics but this is just the beginning, with little tweaks they should be back. As for the warriors, right now they are going to be very dangerous going forward because they are now playing with house money. If there was any doubt about their legacy it's been expunged now. There is zero pressure an they still have some fuel left in the tank.. It's time to stack one or two more rings |
BlueMann:Skip Bayless is even a fun hater, you know he's just trolling most times. But Nick Wright, I fucking hate that guy mehn and then Max Kellerman "give me Iguodala" Bleep all these guys |
etidy: 2016 Add Wiggins set, warriors would have still ate. Make KD she no commit suicide. Looking forward to hear what nick wright, max kellerman and the other curry haters will say today. |
What's striking for me is the level of defense both teams are playing. The warriors It just buttresses the point again that you can't use vibes and Insha Allah defense to win a NBA title. |
steady986:Klay is shooting like 35% from the field at the moment .. Hot Garbage ![]() But i get your point. One underrated storyline in these finals is that Tatum needs to show up fast or hes going to get the chokers tag next season @ Roland17 |
steady986:I don't think anywhere is comparing this current warriors team to that 2018 Cavs. It was a mighty, otherworldly carry job by Lebron to take them to the finals . Having said that I think a better representation of things would be to compare how badly both supporting cast did in the finals. I don't think any other warriors has cracked 20 points apart from klay in game 3. |
steady986:I don't care how awesome a defender a player is. You can't be scoring 2 points in a final while playing starter minutes. Moreover his rebounding and defending has been so so in this final. Jaleyn brown is cooking him. He had 3 rebounds in game 3. No one is asking him to turn into lebron but at at least give 10 points, 10 rebounds, 8 + assist per game and hit open threes. That's not too much to ask from a supposed all star. |
Blueelf:Maybe age has started telling on him. Jaleyn brown is just looking for the guy and cooking him. No excuse for a starter to be scoring 2 points. 2 freaking points, ko make sense rara. Even his mom was cooking him on Twitter ![]() |
Skrrrrrrr:He's literally a passenger at this point you can't be this bad and be collecting 25 mill + |
BykeLaByke:LOL too soon, I think this is going to game 7 especially if draymond and Co keep been useless. Only Wiggins has been stepping up to help curry. Mehn they have to keep him, no choice at all. |
Gentlemen we have a series. Once again the warriors steal one on the road. Steph finals moment came today and he took it. Make the oloshi whey dy him supporting cast sha step up |
Roland17:Facts, I just look as people dy hype am and denigrate Stephen A on very basic debates. Stephen A has his faults, but we can't ignore the fact that this so called "old media" guys contributed to the growth of the league. Even if you're a dummy, if you cover the league for over 25 yrs, you go sabi something and have a broad knowledge base of the league. jJ is okay but he's still getting the new face love. |
A 73 win team who just went to back to back finals, who lost the previous season in 7 and the game went to the last 4 mins won't have stood a 50-50 chance against the cavs the following year ![]() . Remove Harrison Barnes and add 2016 Giannis sef they would still have been formidable. Of course Kevin Durant took them to another stratosphere but even without durant it wasn't going to be a gimme for Lebron's cavs |
Blueelf:Baba I need some of what you're taking ![]() If the gap wide reach like that why did it take him 7 games and a meltdown to beat the warriors. Both teams were practically even at full strength. One team just had to win game 7 and it was the cavs, it doesn't mean the warriors couldn't adjust and win in 7 the following year. Na drinking too much media Kool aid dy cause this Nonsense narrative. |
Skrrrrrrr: na Max Kellerman, Nick Wright them people.Walayi KD is right to a large extent about the media. Na Just creating faux personality on cold takes. Objectivity is not welcomed |
It's just like the bucks welcoming back khris Middleton and the heat signing a Marque free agent and going on to annihilate the Celtics next season And then people spamming a narrative that they could never ever have beaten the Celtics without those players meanwhile the preceding years the series between those teams went down to the wire. Hana now. Adding a superstar obviously stacks the deck in your favour but make we no forget say, it was already like an even match up previously. Sometimes the basketball gods just choose who they want to win. |
Blueelf:LOL how are you sure the warriors wasn't going to win at least one of those additional 2 rings. The cavs needed a meltdown and out of this world all time performances from lebron and kyrie to win the previous year, yet it went down to the wire in game 7. All while having the human brick aka Harrison Barnes in the lineup and draymond missing a key game 5 + but a hobbled but choking steph They could have gotten a half decent replacement for Barnes and still be competitive against the cavs. Abeg let's dead this narrative. Of course, having durant made sure it went from a 50-50 series to a lopsided one and the warriors benefited massively from his presence. But let's dead this narrative that it was a slam dunk for the Cavs to win. |
Skrrrrrrr:I have actually advocated for klay coming off the bench here but on klay matter... I prefer not to speak, make Klay stans no find me come ![]() |
etidy:I will keep Wiggins sha. If the warriors can get him to take a 20/year contract it will be just perfect |
Skrrrrrrr:If I speak on this klay issue, some parties will come for my head. If the warriors miss out on this title. I think it's fair for steph to question why the warriors were stacking rookies when they are in win now mood. A varying combo of kuminga, moody, Wiseman, poole or Wiggins could have landed a star player easily even if you want to keep the core 3 intact. And you don't have to trade all of them, just a couple of them. The hard part of course is trading for the right player but the warriors didn't even test the market. |
and then 300 million in 2024
Someone has to go. I don't think it should be Poole or Wiggins sha.
