SLEEMYDRIZ: I understand. Aside the money aspect double check your other documents to make sure they are all on point. With your desired degree for example , write a letter of explanation that let's vo know that you can use it here at home. Add any responsibilities you have to your parents. Be it inheritance or something else. Any properties you have at home. And also explain your reason for choosing canada. If there's anything else you aren't sure of don't hesitate to ask |

SLEEMYDRIZ:Yeah the money should be 24k cnd equivalent. Either first semester tuition paid or one year tuition paid is good. The payment of your tuition isn't for the benefit of the school but to show the vo that you are financially committed to your program of choice. Let your uncle transfer the money to an account you already have. This way it can show statement history.then you need to indicate that he transferred it to your account. |

Dannylng:Your bsc in pet. Eng and your proposed meng in env. Please make sure your sop explains and links it very very very well. Try and show your relationship with your uncle. Maybe a name change or through marriage. If no job currently what did you fill I'm on your study permit form. Did you write unemployed? Does your uncle have a family he's still cupporting or he's using his company to support your studies so that you'd come back and when for him. |

xyoung: 1. I don't know any one like that but I'm sure people get it using their friend. 2. To show relationship will go beyond your friendship or recent pictures because this person is paying your fees tuition living expenses. And it can't be purely out of "friendship". The friend should be getting something very good in return. Maybe you two are starting a company. You have the academic background he needs and he has the money. So it will be in his own interest to get you a good education. Or he's your brother in law married to his sister. Or your parents helped him get through school when he was younger and since yours have fallen on hard times he's offered to help their son. Listen. Some few pictures might not do justice if you don't explain why he's being so kind to you to the vo. Your reason should be tangible. 3. Your fixed assets I'd advice you to get them into a bank acount that you can withdraw from. This will help you better than it as a fixed asset. 4. No job. Ok. Then get future employment letter. Have you done any volunteering work in your bsc field of study? Then add it. Even if you get an employment letter from a past place of internship and you can proof it add it. But just know that if you have a gap between your bsc and potential msc you need to explain it. And let it be a good explanation. |

stainzee:It's great you're yet to complete your bsc because then no gaps to explain. However it's also a little bit of a downfall for you. I think vo ticked the above because you do not have anything to tie you to your home country. If indeed your bsc and chosen msc are in alignment then I'd suggest this to you: defer your program to next year may or even fall 2017. Finish your degree. Get a future employment letter with a good company in your field of study and if possible work there atleast for some months. Make sure you add anything that your parents owe and anything that you owe. If you'd inherit something then state it and add the evidence thereof. You're young. So it's a good thing to be sponsored by your parents. And your sop should be riddled with pointers to your coming back home to work after school. |

xyoung: Do you have any scholarship from your university? Have you tried any uncles of yours? I think that if your friends bank statement is the best you can get then you'd need to show proof of relationship with the friend. That said ,It could be strange why a mere friend who wouldn't benefit much from your attending university would want to sponsor you. Try getting a relation of yours. It's best aside family. 2 Likes |

tarktmarkto: 1. There's no good or bad way whether online or paper once everything checks out for the vo you get your permit. 2. Well affidavit doesn't hurt your application. If you have the money get it. 3. If employer will also be your sponsor then I think that will strengthen the applicatiom even more. Yes add the leave of absence and letter of employment. Add pay slips and personal bank account. Yes add your registered company and even the bank statement. Since it is your only property tie home. 4. If you take care of your parents then write that fact in your letter of explanation. 5. You have enough time to process it this year I suppose. 6. No worries. It's not your statement of accounts. Without it you can still secure your visa. Your so or letter of explanation is very important to your ability to convince the von of your pgc and previous bsc.make it very very convincing. If you need more help just read the previous pages all the way back to part 1. There's wisdom here my friend. 1 Like |

luckyprince: The visitors visa is a good thing to have. If you're interested in studying in canada I'd advice that 1 person begins but the other should be home to serve as home tie. Also no matter how fat your bank account is if both of you apply it might go against your home tie If you have a Bsc go for an msc/m...in whatever your bsc is or your current work experience is. Honestly first get admission. The rest we all on here can walk you through step-by-step but after you get admission. 1 Like |

pweetiesuzie:Your uncle is wise and that is a right move. Use the biochemistry. Yes you can change school and program once you're in canada I'd advice you to not take your 10 month old child with yoy but to rather have her and your husband as home and family ties. It's good your husband has the money but like I said it's better they both stay back. You are going to school so make school your first and only priority. V.O in my opinion wants to know you're not going to have distractions when you go as a student. If you take your child with you she'd be a distraction. It doesn't matter who takes care of her whiles you're in school. You're the mother.you will be distracted. Let her stay home with her father. 3 Likes |

obinnane:Try and check your email to see if you have received an e-receipt and confirmation of payment from cic. If it's so then that means you've paid for the application so no need to worry. |

keitu: Canada and usa share information so they will know. If you said yes to the question" have you been refused a visa to any country..." then you're fine. Even if you don't give any explanation to this refusal. If you didn't even tick yes well You've already submitted it. As to the effect, I'm not sure. Relax. You don't have a ban from entering the usa on your record so it's not like you're a threat to canada. 1 Like |

VTIA: GCMS notes is a well documented information on every application made to canada. It gives the real reason behind a visa officers decision on any applicants case. If you have paypal account then apply for your gcms note through this website... http://gcmsnow.com Personally I think your refusal is due to your program of choice. I'd advice you to not apply using the same advance program rather look for a masters with your past educational background. Try university of Saskatchewan to start with. 2 Likes 1 Share |

tundechange: If you indicated in your initial application that both should be evaluated by WES,then they'll want them. But I believe they'll start with whichever comes first but it will be incomplete until the other gets to them for evaluation. Either way it will take sometime. 1 Like |

ohammed199: I think Amber Fitzsimmons will be the best person to explain this to you. Call her or send her an email with this document attached. omoyeluka: Why not apply next summer. Or this September intake? Maybe a similar program? emma4eva:If you're not sponsoring yourself then I don't think there's any need for that. rallymento: Simply attach them to your study plan or letter of explanation, into one single pdf document. Make sure it's less than 4mb and then upload it to the section that says letter of explanation. |

rallymento: Do not print and sign and cic forms when going the online route. That is what your name and security question at the end of your completed application is for. Just fill in only the date. Don't print and sign and upload anything. Please check the link below for confirmation of my above statement. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=740&top=23 |

girlonfire: I'd advice you to get into an English program in the university. If you choose university of geneva go for the English programs because if you choose the french speaking one's you'll have to write a french test to even qualify for admission. The deadline for admission is 28th February for visa applicants. The admission office speaks English so call them or send them an email whenever you have questions. Make sure all your documents get to the school before the deadline otherwise you'll have to forfeit. Make Google translator your friend. And consider also the visa process. With Switzerland you can't stay back. You have to leave the country after 6 months of job search. Frankly it's not really easy giving the way their immigration is. Consider this |

[quote author=redcliff post=45644978] that was unnecessary and somewhat cliche. Different Kantons have their different requirements for getting a visa. Some require that you have that money in Switzerland. Especially the Kanton of Zurich. The funds are the only thing you need. All others are Got it. Thanks |

redcliff: Hello red cliff , thankyou for the good work you're doing on here. You and all the other contributors. God bless you all. I've got a question and I hope you or anyone else can help me out with it. I've gained admission to university of geneva for the master of science in global health program. And as I gather documents for the visa purposes I'd like to know concerning the bank statement how much should it be And should the money be a huge sum of money just sitting in the account Also since my parents will be sponsoring me what do I need from them. Is their bank account enough evidence or should I add land documents investments and business certificates as well. Thank you all. |
