Education › Re: 2016/2017 UTME And Admission Process Thread by evansvenus(m): 11:44pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Donpre why not wait till the exam is completed? They you can actually know stats for each school...they might likely reduce..
NB...no school accepts two sittings for med and surg
fedric..if you want a less competitive course go for agriculture..but your subject combo wnt allow you,so you are left with industrial chem and pharm..the latter is competitive, you need a high jamb score..why not try unical..you from the catchment area..im also aspiring for chemistry at unical |

Fedric: thank you man for ur input. abia school fees, and other things is up to 190k. to be honest no much cash why not change your course to a less competitive one? Any of the courses in the sciences would be perfect..ur jamb score is actually low for optometry! It's a medical course. |
Education › Re: 2016/2017 UTME And Admission Process Thread by evansvenus(m): 7:24pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Fedric: my fellow, i score 187 in jamb and i wanna study optometry in one of the bellow mention uni.
imo state uni<with total applicant of 356.
unilorin with 259 applicant.
am from delta state.
which uni will i be most welcome and can admit me into optometry opt for abia state university..applicants are not upto hundred..i can talk to my aunt..she works there..but tuition fee is quite expensive. Unilorin cut-off is pegged at 200 imsu is bedevilled with accreditation problems..you just have uniben and absu |

Idrismusty97: It means alot of you fail Jamb last year or didn't meet the cut off point, Requirements of specified universities and end up enrolling for Jamb again with your juniors. Also the total carrying capacity of all our Nigeria tertiary institution(Both poly, Universities, COC etc) is just about 400,000. But everyone want to go to University. University will only occupy about 40% of that figure. Some universities are mostly based on Catchment area even in the East. You heard of the story of a lady denied admission in University of Abia because she is from Anambra state despite scoring 286. Let's just say 50,000 applicants(About Half) from IMO would be admitted. The rest will sit for JAMB again next year with yet again their Juniors thereby skyrocketing the number of applicants from that region yet again. Judging from your tone and choice of word you seem Young and probably a Jambite from IMO state. Good luck! You need it, Or you will be just another number to brag about next year. and you really have to quote me to spew bunkum?are u pained or wat?on the contrary the high statistics of jambites from imo state depicts youths from imo state aspire for tertiary education hitherto reducing the number of touts, like the "owo da" screaming mofos from the sophisticated region imolites are making thier school certificate exams,it is only when you have waec or neco, that you can apply for jamb imo state has the highest number of proffessors in the country!this can also be a contributory factor we value education in the south east, especially in imo state, even while they keep failing jamb, they are resilient..unlike those that resort to "omonile" in the sophisticated region after the ist attempt.. Imo state has the highest literacy rate in nigeria...deal with it hater! |

Imo state again..southeast always on point!
Ist to comment?? On a jamb thread..lols!! Shoutout to all those jambites out there! This year is gonna be your year...click like if u think this gonna be your last jamb, and still click like if you think imo state is truly the eastern heartland!!
Straight outta imo!! Straight outta orlu!! Staright outta south east!!
Haters quoting..imo state is at her climax, when it comes to education, imo state has
the highest number of proffessors in the country. the lowest "out of school children"in the country. highest literacy rate among her youth, pegged at 97%. highest bidded state university highest bided university of technology(futo)
imo state rocks!!rochas sucks!! |

Any candidate from the northeast or north central, with a south east vp...pdp really gat lot of work to do if they are expecting to bounce back!!
Then on the broader outlook,i discovered that southern has been foolish all this while, will heaven fall if a southwesterner is the president and a southeasterner deputizing him/her?or vice versa
must it always be abouth the north?are we under the aegis of their eslavement? Southern nigeria wake up!!
Pdp should try this, produce a southwest candidate,an igbo man as the vp,south south will support us(but we have to plead with them )2015 factor comes to mind, then pdp should "mama-guy"the northcentral to vote for them..its gonna work!! |

So disappointed, because i am vouching for him to become nxt imo governor!! His key campaign note was on industrialisation at the last gubernatorial elections, which he lost anyways.
Iheanacho emanated from a state where there is dearth of industries and the best he could have done was to site that refinery anywhere in imo, preferrably oguta..
Enough of this hotel madness in owerri, that encourages whoredom. Give us industries in imo state!! |
