Another major cause of this rise in kidney failures is the indiscriminate use of medicines; especially NSAIDs and antibiotics in Nigeria. The western world whom we learnt orthodox medicine from don't allow indiscriminate use of medicines but here in Nigeria, people take medications indiscriminately!

We allow untrained people who have no knowledge of drugs sell all kinds of drugs without prescription and this has exposed many Nigerians to the toxic effects of drugs including kidney and liver failures. We urgently need to put a stricter regulation in place to ensure that drugs sales and handling is restricted only to trained professionals. In this 21st century, We shouldn't be having anything like patent medicine dealerships which allows illiterates poison people with drugs just for financial gains.

I don't know what is stopping government to make capital punishment for fake drugs and food producers.

I'm not a fan of blocking but blocking is VERY VERY useful on nairaland and it's time Seun improves on the feature.

Blocking should be permanent and you should have a list of people you blocked so that you can unblock them if you so wish.

If not for the block feature I'd hardly comment on nl because this place is filled with propagandists, bitter and hateful trolls

Most people who watch the show are unemployed or undergraduates. I remember in 2018 when I was posting comments in the thread during an exercise session. One lurker here kept reposting my comments on Twitter, thereby broadcasting them on the SMS/social media strap.

It is exercise hour. There is no drama during the time, hence nobody cares to watch. If housemates fight in the arena, watch how the news will fly in 2.5 seconds. I work remotely too

My antidote to trolling is change your mindset stop seeking validation from people, be honest with yourself and be happy always.

If someone said "you fat bitch" and you know you are truly fat but not a bitch then reply with yes i know i am fat but not a bitch. My boyfriend, father, mother etc like me like that and then add a photo of yourself and a small pros and cons of being fat that you have experienced that skinny persons cannot experience.

If it hurts you let it out rather than bottle it up and be moody about it.
