I was really good at football and almost made it.
If I had known I would have sticked to football and ignore chasing university education

Now I'm matured and when I look back, I see all my mistakes. I see the things I would have done differently. It breaks me to know I can't change the past so I try hard not to think about it.
I am scared of being poor or in lack. Unable to solve basic problems most especially the ones that require financial attention. I am scared of being poor, but I find myself drifting towards that state. I'm really afraid of the future. It feels like prayers are not a guarantee that things will work out.

I see men walking around in Ankara and looking dejected. Some sitting on a bench in groups unemployed. Some looks like they've accepted their fate. I heard one say "wealthy is for the brave, people who are dead hearted".. I always held that saying in my heart for long.

The older I get, the more I understand why people participate is some certain crimes. So much responsibilities to meet and few opportunities materializing

If i could turn back the hands of the clock, i would back to school and study underrated courses like Food and nutrition people always looked down on.

I know this is not related to this post but i can't just stop drooling over this man that toasted me last week and the guy was the one who hit on me first, i gave him my number without hestitation. We chatted fine and I told him lets meet on sunday and he agreed, since sunday, i have been calling him and he didn't pick and he hasn't called back since. I have stopped calling him because i don't want to act desperate. I wish he can call me because i really like this guy soo much

right, depression is the devil. Only way i can support suicide is someone suffering from terminal illness which has reached its chronic stage. Instead of seeing them suffer each day with no cure, just let them go

You have no right to end your life because this life doesn't belong to you. Only God decides when to take one's life. Anyone who commits suicide will face punishment on the other side. Know this and know peace

I know what it feels like to be depressed but ending it all is not the solution. You only transfer the pain to your loved ones who will keep mourning you. Learn to stay strong and find something to hold on to

Sad. Depression is real. we don't really pay much attention to mental health and anxiety issues in Nigeria. There should be a group for this. Suicide is caused by unbearable pain and hopelessness. Please note; If you are feeling down or depressed, feel free to vent, find someone nice to vent out to and please guys try to give a listening ear, do not insult or mock them, it will make them feel worse. Even if you can't do much to help, just by listening to them when they vent really helps them feel better. Talking to someone helps. Don't be ashamed to vent out whatever is bothering you, you may feel no one cares but some really do care✅

A 23-yr-Old Nigerian Law School Student ends it all from 4-Storey Hostel on Lagos campus

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of 23-year-old Faith Ajoke Alayande, a student of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, Victoria Island.

Alayande was reportedly found dead within the hostel premises on Friday, August 7, 2026, after she allegedly jumped from the rooftop of a four-storey hostel building.

According to the police, a suicide note was reportedly discovered by her hostel mate and a relative, who began searching for her before she was allegedly found after the incident.

The matter was reported to the Victoria Island Police Division by the hostel’s Chief Matron at about 6:30 a.m. Police officers subsequently visited the scene and evacuated Alayande’s body to a morgue for preservation.

The command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed the incident and said investigations were ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the student’s de@th.

Meanwhile, Uchenna Marvin, who said he supervised Alayande during her university years, described her de@th as heartbreaking. He recalled that she had previously engaged in discussions about the right to life and the right to d+e while working on her research in Medical Law.

Alayande had graduated from university before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School earlier this year.
