State police for a democratically matured state like Lagos is a very good Idea; they have the funds to sustain such an institution and their legislature is solid, hence they have the necessary laws provided to support it.



All in all,Lagos having a state police will be a fantastic idea due to its highly advanced and functional democratic institutions.

I think states like Lagos need this kind of housing project more,with the current overpopulation in the state.



But eitherway,it is a very commendable development from Anambra; they seem to be in the news for a lot of splendid achievements these days.
