To be fair to Ghana,I heard these vehicles and so called exoskeletons were built by a priest and nnot an actual defence company.
You call those rusty caskets vehicles?, why are you being so nice?, those "vehicles" will collapse into flaming sharpnels if hit by so much as an errant fart. grin

Amnesty International must probe Kantanka and the Ghanaian government for exposing the gallant troops and good citizens of Ghana to such unspeakable horror.

lol y edey pain we no go order those joke vessels.
Of course,I understand such vessels would seem atrocious when compared to the destroyer class warships and nuclear submarines Kantanka is currently producing. Going by your recent successes in building armoured...err...vans..and cyborg soldiers, I cannot help but admire the unmatchable sophistry of the ghanaian defense industry.

Don't mind that guy... Even a child would understand what the colonel is saying
I dint understand why soldiers still man civil checkpoint for Godsake... What is the job of the police civil defence... Etc..
Well I think nobody trusts the effectiveness of the regular policemen to keep them safe by manning checkpoints
True. Which boils down to this professionalism problem, if the police becomes more professional in handling security issues, then the people will trust them more.

That is why some of us have been advocating for a more regulated police recruitment procedure and total independence of the police from executive authority.

I can't believe the Nigerian police will accuse the army of lying grin, they should know this is how they all play their games in Nigeria.

Only god knows how this aboki became a colonel. The Nigerian army are trained to kill huh why can't they start killing their family members? Just because you're trained to kill does not mean you will start acting like a zombie.

This is a useless and very lame excuse from the quota system mallam, they are trained to kill, but they will drop their weapons, take off their camouflage and make a tactical manoeuvre into Cameroon when they are been attack by boko haram.
The Colonel is actually right, military personnel are trained to kill; they shoot to kill, while their police counterparts shoot to maim. I think the standard training for the army is three consecutive shots to the head or chest, while the police will usually target the legs or shoulders.

Problem is that soldiers shouldn't even be deployed to man checkpoints in the first place(except in places where SoE has been declared), and the security agencies are usually quick to protect their erring men.

5 more expected in the next few weeks. It is a start at least.
Yeah, half loaf is better than none.

Proforce should also help themselves by scouting for a patron in the Senate and MoD. Lobby the senate committee on defense, public procurement, and so on; give them "kolanut", furnish them with civilian variant armoured vehicles out of "deep concern for the security of distinguished senators"...these things help.

A more capitalist approach.

The reason I gave you an example is to prove that the sovereignty of your Embassy is not sacrosanct depending on the circumstances, in the case of Nigeria vs CDR, we don't even know what the circumstances are so discussing a line of action is premature & a bloody waste of time.
I can give you other examples like Operation Nimrod, so when CDR breaches your Embassy first learn the circumstances before shouting.
It is the sovereign soil of Nigeria no doubt but CDR can gain access under some circumstances, its pretty simple.
You are right. Only wanted to correct the notion that an embassy isn't out of bounds to it's host country.

Your embassy assuming a sovereign status does not mean its out of bounds to host country, a recent case in point is the Khashoggi murder, everything we know about Saudi's involvement was told by Turkey, infact, they were on ground to investigate so expunge that sovereignty no go area BS from your mindset.
But im sure the DRC government can not effect an arrest there like we saw between the UK & Ecuador on the case of Julian Assange.

As for your show of force delusion, you must be joking, breaching Congolese airspace with your F7 is worse than invading your embassy under the UN sovereignty charter, besides, Nigeria can not unilaterally declare a military action on DRC without the approval of the AU & the UNSC because of underlying interests, I don't expect Nigeria to waste time on that the best that will happen is sacking their Ambassador & cutting diplomatic ties for a while, that's all.
Diplomacy is not market women townhall buisness, it works differently, im glad you are nowhere close to power, your Abacha mindset will put us in big trouble.
I disagree with your first statement. All embassies have diplomatic immunity guaranteed by the international law of inviolability, as codified in the Vienna convention. So yes, an embassy is supposed to be out of bounds to the host country. It is only on invitation of the ambassador that the host country (or it's representative) can enter the embassy.

In the case of Kperoogi, Turkey violated international laws by spying on and invading the Saudi Arabian embassy, just that due to how delicate the issue was,the Saudis couldn't take it up. There are some countries, like the UK, that have passed laws to legally enable invasion of any embassy on their soil, if the said embassy loses control of it's building to hostile forces or the embassy perpetuates actions that constitute a threat to national security. Apart from that, it's a violation.
