She used to be fed more of chicken parts, and minced meat before the lockdown, but for now, we are doing noodles and fish with occasional dry food. My chicken parts don’t last since I feed 3 dogs.

How Do you expect me to send money before the delivery of your so called dog.. I have over 5 dogs i bought from Abuja and Jos respectively and i didn't pay before the delivery of any of them.. What sort of scam is this. You expecting someone to send you over 100k without seeing the dog.. JUST LIKE THAT.. WEH DONE MAN..

I will not advice you to pay b4 delivery especially when dealing with an unknown person, but will you send any item with your funds to a far distance with a pay on delivery arrangement?

when they want to spend 25k-50k on a gsd how do they expect to get a purebred one?
I see pure bred gsds a lot and I know kennels that sell them.
people will rather spend 35k on gsd and come and say "to see pure bred gsd in Nigeria is hard" online.

the truth is that if you are ready to spend money to get it you'll see a lot of sellers.
i feel if you're spending less than 100k on a dog then you shouldn't be complaining about pure bred or not.
every popular breed has pure bred bloodlines in Nigeria but people aren't ready to spend to get them

Monthly deworming plus endo and ecto parasite injections -6k
Meat(weekly) -5k

Expenses include leash, collar, comb etc which solely depends on the quality you’re getting and how long it last for you

Price for vaccination actually depends on your vet

From personal and friends experience, I accept that getting a pure breed GSD is more difficult than gaining employment in Nigeria. If you are a GSD lover and a new owner, bro be rest assured that you haven't got a GSD yet oooo. What you just have is an experimental dog because very soon you will feed that GSD with the whole can food in this world and yet it won't be what you expect. GSD is a joy to behold if actually it has the features of a GSD. They are very loyal and they respect their owners ( maybe they were first own by the Yorubas On the other hand a CO is a no nonsense breed and so not suitable for first timers. GSDs are too full of energy ( they hate to stay idle, so if you are the busy type then it's not suitable. They are very calculative and have better vision than the CO, they don't tend to eat varieties compare to the CO who because of its body size could eat anything food
I think a CO is more disobedient because the breed wasn't designed to yield easily to pressure and confrontations, so as owner, you need to do more. Yes they sleep a lot no doubt but do you know that the CO scare off intruders and miscreants at night more than the GSD can do in 10 days? So imagine after barking all night, won't it sleep during the day?
GSD is good, I mean very good but hide her when you see a real CO because it doesn't do the notice me that GSDs are known for and it will gladly maul your GSD and she will never forgive you for watching her make a wrong decision.

Yes! You can buy a very quality dog And still feed it properly with 75k. It all depends on you and how much sacrifice you are willing to make.

You will only spend more during the first few months on vacination, after that I can assure you that if properly managed, you will not spend up to 10k monthly.

This lockdown favoured my dog than me...... I had time to care for her and shes getting chubby and aggressive by the day.... Shes beginning taking territory and she is so fearless when barking..... She is not the bark and hide type ...... When she barks she's out for business and she's is just four month old.....but she too done receive bites for biting senior dogs because of food.

Lol, nice, my girl for now does not bark at strangers. However she has good drives, she enjoy biting and easily understands commands.

Owning a dog with a Known ancestry’s is very important, a dog that you can easily verify it’s lineage is very important. A dog that when people ask you for it’s parent, all you need is a browsing phone that would show you the how that dog came about.

A Lhasa could also cost that much or close if you get a pedigree lhasa

Yeah she has shed allot of her puppy hair, still has some tho. She started shedding early.

For now her black coat is now shiny and getting longer by the day.

They are, in Nigeria several breeders sell around the range 150k-500k for a Gsd pup.

A thoroughbred ddr gsd from household kennel Can cost between 250k-400k depending on the pairing.

Cephas least price for his showline is 250k with a good relationship, he sells higher depending on pairing

PeraGsd also sells within the range 200k and he is like the most affordable pedigree Gsd’s breeders with awesome stocks, I will suggest you take advantage now that he is still a bit affordable for people that know quality.

Importing a gsd pup could cost as much as 2000-3000 dollars depending on the stock, An adult could cost more

Troy came on her second heat March 24, though she was a bit cunny bcoz I wasn't really sure she was on heat until the I saw that her vulva was swollen.
unfortunately, she came on heat at the wrong time bcoz the expected mating dates falls in the period of the lock-down
Before the expected date of mating , I went to make reservations for a quality male Long coat Gsd with my vet, but due to the lockdown I had to make use of a quality short coat massive Gsd within my neighborhood.

When did she come on her First heat?
