UBKtech: they are both right, but it is doable if ur relationship is genuine and you have plenty of evidence to support your claim. I applied alone in October last yr, we became engaged in March this yr, did our registry in may. we got our visa on August 6th, exactly a month before our church wedding. however, in my case she was part of the. process from the very start, so we had gathered plenty of evidence before including her you need plenty of evidence more than just pictures and marriage certificate

@nwokenna, I arrived Melbourne on Tue 24 but got to Mildura my final destination on the 25th. Am still working on my documentations as per the Beginning a Life in Australia booklet: http://www.immi.gov.au/living-in-australia/settle-in-australia/beginning-life/_pdf/eng.pdf applied for a tax file number, got temporary medicare card & opened a bank account today. I will contact some recruitment companies tommorrow and start job hunting in earnest.

Taking cert 3 in aged care for example,it cost 5700 in ETI. But when OSHC is added it turns to million. If ur course is packaged and it will take u 2years to conclude. Your OSHC will either be for 26months more or less. When that is added,initial payment gets up. So you will be paying nothing less than 1million naira. So its had to get an initial payment for that amount. And u can't pay school fee alone. You have to pay for insurance also. So u see?
