transformed: Better produce thread for Buhari you stupidly coersed on us and still shamelessly support. In Buhari Nigeria Aso Villa queen cannot get employment not to talk of oil well except if she answer Daura, Buhari, or Kyari...not to talk of ordinary housemaid from anothr tribe. During millitary era oil well were shared based on president discretion, 99% of individuals that were given the largese in those days hawk it for cheap in europe and US. The success story for Alakija is turning the well into an empire...you can imagine what a maid will receive vs what other military guys got and most of them are no where to be seen today. Ofcourse her story might not be sensational as some other guys that actually attain greatness through personal effort and hardwork...but success na success, there will always be a lesson to be learnt. Ogundamisi should go and sleep, wjile doing that he should figure out how the monster he helped elect will get back to Daura... Meanwhile, anybody here with an idea of how to get retired oil well in naija? Cheap journalism! Calling malu uncle cos of cow meet |

Business › Re: Nigeria’s External Reserves Rise By 1.1% In 6 Days by everG: 8:29am On Feb 19, 2018 |
omenkaLives: No. It means a whole lot more than that.
1. It translates into an improvement in the country's credit rating.
2. It boosts investors' confidence in our economy.
When investors are confident in your economy, they feel very comfortable puting money in it and the more money they put in it, the more jobs they create for our teeming graduates and technicians/artisans. The more the people are employed, the less likely you are to encounter a robber out there, which means improvement in security.
The more folks are employed, the greater their means to take care of themselves and their families. Kids can be sent to better schools, they can afford better medicare, eat better food, drive better cars and live in better houses. When they purchase these things, they patronise other people therefore improving other people's lives as well, and the chain reaction goes on and on and on.
The reciprocal effect of this is more than a single comment box can contain.
God bless Nigeria. why won't u tell ursef d truth for once, does all ds gimmicks still work for Nigerians let alone d foreign investor? continue playing politics with d future, d end is near. |

TV/Movies › Re: A Thread For TSTV First Experience And The Hotspot by everG: 9:13am On Oct 02, 2017 |
9japrof: TSTV made a tactical mistake, they never had their distribution channels in place before launching.
The incentives for distributors is so poor, why would I pay 4.4 million naira to get 1000 decoder kits only to sell for 5000 naira each meaning investing 4.4 million to earn a paltry sum of 600k. They should do better...
TSTV is an amalgamation of channels, nothing special, a lot of channels on their bouquet are channels being picked by 1.8 meter dish users, e.g the beIN sports, MBC series etc.
Real DTH aggregators own their channel series, e.g multichoice( the owners of DSTV) own the supersport channels, buh TSTV own nothing, they own no channel of their own, only gathering free channels and broadcasting to Nigerians .
The Internet feature they are broadcasting to Nigerians cannot be available in all nigerian states(I pray to be wrong on this) startimes have this feature on the combo box which a lot of their users are not even aware of, some are using it presently in Nigeria and I think that feature can only be used in not more than 5 states in Nigeria.
TSTV if not careful would go the way of HITv, the company have launched into the country running at a loss, that's why the branding and hyping to convince Nigerians to buy, if the sales and turnover anticipated is not achieved, either more money is pumped in to sustain the business or the business would be on a downward spiral.
KweseTV that has been there building structures to ensure distribution channels before launching is still way better and would outlive TSTV in the long run.Kwese even went ahead with their commitment to give out free decoders to thousands of dealers.
NB: the kwese brand is owned by strive masiywa, the brain behind econet wireless and TSTV is even broadcasting one of their channels kwese free sport(KFS) on their bouquet asking you to pay for the channel that kwese is broadcasting for free DSTV paid e-rat, we go use TSTV like dat, after all dstv didn't achieve ds height over night.
