DrTeeee:

Strong woman, I admire ur strenght and faith dear. God is everly faithful as far as we put our faith in him. U remind me of one of the ladies in labour that night. She was just scabashing throughout the night and singing. I went to my wife and almost said" dear u need to be strong like dat lady" grin thank God I didn't say it. She for bite me!

Hahahaha grin LOL @ she for bite you.
I was praying in tongues mostly.

When my baby started descending, the doctor wasn't even there cos according to him, I was 6cm dilated and he had a nurse fix some silly gadgets on my tummy to monitor contractions and baby's heartbeat. (Unnecessary stuff to add to bills)

When he eventually strolled in to check progress on dilation he saw that baby was already coming.

I told them the hour of delivery and it happened. I told them the week also and it happened that way.

Congrats OP. God is your strength.

I don't know how that waiting room looks like.
I consistently mentioned to my doctor that I didn't want to be in a room with other women wailing. I didn't want any distractions.

I had envisaged the kind of delivery experience I was going to have and was declaring God's word to make it happen. So I didn't want to be in a room with other women who didn't share the same vision/faith as me.

The experience was lipsrsealed
But I know I saw God's faithfulness on display. smiley

I'll ONLY do this one more time, by God's Grace. cheesy

Congrats Op.She will live to fulfil her destiny.

You said you put her through it and those women cursing their husbands, don't they want the pregnancy too?Why curse their husbands.

Honestly! I really don't get all these women cursing husbands in labour room experience. I often think it's just an exaggerated tale.

I recall telling my husband, during the last trimester something along the lines of "you caused this", the guy just smiled and said, I gave, you received. You didn't have to receive cheesy

Also, I don't know how I would have coped without my hubby in the delivery room (I didn't go to any waiting room) he was a pillar of strength and support. I held onto his hands the entire time, until our son was born.

Pregnancy and childbirth is a spiritual experience and God was totally faithful to us.

Family / Re: My Toddler Left The School Premise Without Supervision by Evina(f): 4:06pm On Feb 28, 2016

I think both the school and the kids will benefit from this.

Firstly, the school needs to sensitize your kid and other kids on the need to cooperate with the security measures put in place to ensure their safety. I think a little embarrassing of your kid by bringing him out at the assembly and making him feel a little guilty plus painting him and others a little picture of what could have been will do the trick.

Then the school needs to up its security measures and the sense of responsibility of the teachers. It will end well, security is every stakeholder's responsibility. You sef need to advise your ward accordingly...

"Sisi, don't talk to strangers, always hold your sister's hands, look well before you cross, don't leave the school gate until I come for, etc" my mom was like a broken radio at a point but I heard her... May God bless you and yours.

You'd make a most horrible parent!

Bro..this is a learning thread...why confuse those whose minds are opened open to learning? "There are people who knows how to use English" is wrong...dead wrong regardless of the explanations you keep churning out. Chew on this...There is a group of people who knows how to use English. @topic.... use of cloth instead of clothes/clothing/outfit.

Really this thread just shows that English language is borrowed.

I ill also like to chip in this.

The use of "used to"

it is used for something you no longer do or do a lot in the past e.g I "used to," slaughter Ram on new year days...√ correct

This shows you no longer slaughter again

Rather tham saying "I used to eat cake on mondays" intending it to mean an everyday activity.× wrong

Instead you say I do eat cake on mondays√
meaning you do it continously.

I eat cake on Mondays.
