Edwife, see me oh , could be weeds preventing my flowers from growing, I didn't add mulch to the topsoil thanks for the pointer, will have to cheat and go with Tearoses idea( buy already grown flowers), the Croton I potted since last August is thriving like no tomorrow. Don't mind me, it was the kids idea to grow flowers from scratch, everyday struggle with a 100ft garden hose to water the plants is no joke and they won't let you rest. Least I forget, my tomatoes is budding, also growing herbs starting tomorrow, I want to make homemade pasta & pizza sauce. I'm on fire! jezz hopefully , I get to give my neighbour our harvest first before she waltz to my front door this fall again

Ewuro, I am curious to know when you one should stop fighting. I keep hearing that you should fight if he is worth fighting for and I always wonder why you have to fight to begin with?

An adult should know when they are near temptation and anyone can be tempted, the idea that only men get tempted does not go down well with me. As far I am concerned, be open with your temptation and you can both fight it. All these I will fight for him or fight for my home just does not sit well with me. It is our home and if we both value it we must fight for it together.

@Second Paragraph, women cheat too, I find that statement ('idea of only men get tempted') kinda cliche. The rate married women cheat too is alarming. Men's infidelity are mostly exposed because they lack mental skills to conceal their boo-boo, women on the other hand take the cake at this. Pls don't say that again.

Guys listen to yourself...we should stop cutting down on sisters. Marriage is give and take (50/50). Note that when married to a foreigner you would always be the cook because, she can't cook your country food you would be fed with junk foods. I passed through it, hey, it wasn't easy. I started eating Nigerian/organic foods as soon as i met my Nigerian wife. Not all Nigerian women are evil. Come to think about it, most Nigerian men cheats, are drunk and hit on their wives due to their low mentality (African mentality). Personaly I think that some men are more predisposed to affiars, due to the nature of their jobs.

I actually referenced that saying in terms of looks, you know how appealing and sexy 40+ year old men look compared to women esp those ones who've used all their life catering to him and forgot herself along the line. This happens a lot. Life's not a race but each couple should be on top of their game. There's no reason why he's crisp &fresh and you can't do thesame for yourself.

Life begins at forty for real , though every home is different but for the most part @40, everyone(kids& stable career) is settled in their prospective positions and rest of mind. Ofcourse that's when they're (men) visible to other women who won't poke them with a long pole when their necks are like that of an alien. It only takes a very disciplined man and grace of God to not err with everything that's crawling out there for their attention.
