Ewuro4. Did you make your cake or you bought and added the colour?

What type of cake is that ? Flavour?
Hey, I can only hope you understand my own side of our sour exchange wasn't really who I am. When posters with proconcieved notions attack me, I have no choice but go after their families now (I wasn't like that before) . That said, I sincerely apologize for my rude comment in regards to yours. May his perfect soul rest in peace and my best regards to your mom.

@post , Made from scratch before adding food color to the batter.

Pound cake. Sour cream flavour. Sweet yet savoury aftertaste to it.

Grind (I use coffee grinder) whole cloves and whole red & black peppercorns(in any local grocery stores spice aisle) . With a touch of ginger and hot pepper of your choice, peppersoup has never tasted naijaish wink. Mint leaves is also a perfect substitute for the scent leaves.

Stillfire:
Nothing wrong in women rising up to be breadwinners. The men to these women MUST also must rise up to do what house wives do, take care of the home, cook, clean, kids etc. Society should not look down on female breadwinners nor househusbands.
Any breadwinning wife who resorts into patting a lousy potato couch warmer on the head is on her own.

As for society, we can't tame them. People will always talk and rumours don't stick.

End of story , life goes on.

OK
freecocoa:
I don't remember saying you have to convince me, nor that we must argue, I just wanted to understand your angle, why does it feel like you are being hostile? huh

Anyways,to answer your question, there's nothing to argue about, to each his own.

But just so you know, I don't have anything against polyamorous people, it's their life and their choice, the fact that I think the lifestyle is promiscuous, doesn't mean otherwise, I guess the fact that the society puts a label on people who are considered promiscuous, makes it a tad difficult to understand my point, to me, 'promiscuity' is just a word don't get it twisted.

freecocoa:
You don't have to but you should have reasons for believing otherwise.
'Dont have to convince you otherwise. smiley

I already stated my own school of thought regarding Polyamory. And this is not in anyway a political correctness notion on my part.

Your firm opinion against it, and calling it otherwise, though wrong to me and may be offensive to other people invested in such lifestyle is just your opinion which everyone is entitled to.

So what's there to argue about?

Generally speaking and without factoring for outliers - at 25, her age mates won't be ready. At 35, they won't be interested.

My argument is mainly against the overhyped Hypergamy.

@bold , Why do you think so? What are the factor(s) that makes an average 27yr old man not ready/ interested for marriage?

(If already discussed pls redirect me to the page )

And promiscuity is not? I will even argue that one has to have some level of promiscuity in him/her to practice polyamory.
Heard but I don't agree.

Hypergamy or marrying for status as TV on the part of the woman is more prevalent in the younger generation. Of course the older generation saw 'potential' as well but the women at that time did not mind starting from the bottom and building up together.

That said a couple of women in that generation got betrayed after struggling and starting together with their men only for them to be traded for newer models after the men made it or became comfortable grin

Some maybe the younger generation have just decided to just be the 'newer model' grin no more 'surulere' Na 'olorunsogo' dey now . grin
Youre right, it's a reigning trend among younger generation (Late 70s-90s group) ... I said this before, the upcoming generation (21st century) will be different this time. Let's wait and see.

TV01... I'm not gonna drag it with you cool when your our princess introduce her age mate to you as her fiancé, hold your hand back you hear? grin

Please pray tell me , where and who among public figures in the western world married for financial status except gold-diggers. Royal families dont even marry for status.

It's going extinct and so shall it be.
