Happened when I was in Junior high school:

School closing bell rang and our normal routine was to walk to the gate , wait for our driver to pick us up there.

Waited over an hour in the scalding late afternoon sun , no sign of a car. So we went back in the school compound to wait under the tree to cool off.

Another hr passed and the driver drove in the school and honked us to RUN , I was so pissed and unknown to me that the principal was in the building behind the tree we had waited , I carelessly blurted a rude statement and next voice I heard shocked the heck out of me "you, come here" .. The principal himself

"You spoilt kids don't have any respect for your employees, gonna teach you a lesson today" he flogged me as if he had a grudge with my pop. He hit me so hard I was sorry for him.
And guess what, I didn't cry one bit. ( Eran iya )

The driver asked what the matter was He wanted to park & ask the principal but I obliged.

I will never forget that day. Ever.

e bad o I no go lie. Ordinary sheeps and ram sef them dey waka for group and know when to close for the day because anything from 7pm and above na for vegetable soup e go land. Even the owners of the animals no dey find food bring for house for them so as their owner is locking the door of his house their common sense is telling them to go find food or else na hungry go kill am talk less of dog

@huffing & puffing, I know right? Pet hair, running into things and Don't get me started on mandatory walks during winter. Ours was put down just of recent , he had cancer. He was our lovely boy Took a while to get over him esp the kids. Looking at adopting another one very soon.

Na so e bad reach for bingos?? Back in the days , though we never had a dog as per our religion taboo , but my neighbours always go to premier hotel and co to pack leftovers and reminants for their dogs ( 'twas first come first served I believe) that would last them for days.

Yes. tricky though so I baked them first @350/30mins then switched the oven to 'broil' to achieve the 'brownness'.
