may God help you o o grin cuz those dogs are never tire, they keep coming back with different monikers, I think the best bet is to simply ignore them.

@taryour I only read bits of your story, I couldnt read further cuz I don't just know. pls just delete it. It's obvious you are a good person and most people can see that from a mile so you don't have to prove anything to anybody. There are so many stray dogs on NL who may want to capitalise or use your story to hurt you. I or most reasonable people here would not want to see that. Shalom
Stray dogs indeed. I'll hunt them down like a pack wolves if I see that post anywhere else. Mofos. grin

Tayour your story is very touching and one thing I've learnt from my experience growing up is to never let my past affect my future. To make the best of every situation I find myself in and hope for the best. But with humility and patience.

I applaud you for holding your mother's morals and with class. That's not the case for some people, they'll be bitter for life.

And for those talking about emotional treshold, if your stimuli can restrain you when your parents slapped/ say hurtful words to you then it is achieveable to other older adults in your life.

Violence never pays.

The woman is scared to death because she's solely responsible for how you turned out even though you're already an adult. Once you're preggy out of wedluck and without tangible degree to show, a child's path is tampered with. Who wants that for their child.? So I don't blame her.

A 20yr old must've convinced me to trust her before giving her a upper hand in all decision making. I siezed all my tween's gadgets since last week for a week for watching a PG13 movie without consulting me first.

So if you want to earn her trust, prove yourself first to her and she'll soft pedal.

Sorry if I sound too hash but I'm only Speaking from mom's standpoint here.

If I was the one, I'd leave her to her fate and face my kids. I do not like unnecessary attention, especially this messy one.

Maybe he's not interested and someone some how wants to taint Amobode's image.

He'll just keep quite and watch as the drama unfolds.

Am sure the lady in question will be fair - too much bleaching!

Coogar, that's unfair generalization.

IMO( at least that's how I was taught and teaching my kids now) ; Being Responsible works 2 ways ; To have and To own.

Picking one over the other is pure hypocrisy and that's why I don't get along with many folks on here grin

No doubt Mr. Edun is love stricken that he forgot to read the fine prints, olodo grin

Maybe because its a woman she cannot be responsible for her actions huh
I'm insulted. angry

Some of us have responsibilities since teenagers, conduct a whole building site and pay the labourers and suppliers , account for everything to our parent(s), after school work.

Accountability moral has been ingrained into our lives from ground up. Being a woman doesn't make a woman irresponsible, we are strong and can great at multitasking cool and that's just one of many great xtics.

All my Indian friends marriage are arranged , they seem very happy and content with their lives and so was their parents and grandparents. They are close knit family and always on top.

If I have my way with my children, I will stylishly arrange their marriage grin The idea of calling our family friends mummy or Aunty is out of the question in order to freely mingle with their sons.

So help me God.

I'm sorry but who's this Ambode ? lipsrsealed

Rich men have been taking advantage of poor man's wife since time immemorial so it's not news to me. And they will never stop.

By the way its a simple case of two consented adults to shine congos, the woman got too comfortable and kicked her husband to the curb.

Poor Mr. Edun, life goes on dude, you just saved yourself from a dangling wrecking ball. Pick yourself up and move on.

****
Shine your eyes when choosing a partner, people marry for different goals in mind , so when things ( finances, health etc) goes spiral, they keep it moving.
