I agree op. But we have different outlook to life; chore sharing is the least of my worries in marriage as long as he's emotionally supportive like you also touched in your post, I'm good.

Emotional support : Emotional support is about helping to lift someone to higher ground so he or she can see their way through the difficulty. Having someone to rely on when the chips are down is one of the best parts of being in a relationship.
