You never really liked her in the first place.
on the contrary, she was not ready to adjust and like the op remarked, those are red flags that would pose a problem when left untended.
I am still searching though. There is a lady pastor I have a date with tonight. She has her own church!

Anyone who works from home probably online and ardours serenity shouldn't be found in places like Lagos.

You are just too dumb to be engaged. Was OBJ at Ota when he became head of state? Did he become head of state from his father's village? Leave all these stupid stories and reason with your brain. Retirement and seeking opportunities are two different ventures. I engaged that guy regarding opportunities, not retirement.

Even a sound toddler knows that location affects prospects. How would you tell someone to relocate to his village when he has greater chances of earning what is commensurate to his human value in Lagos city, New York, Port Harcourt, Johannesburg?

Go back and understand the points I made before jumping aimlessly on it.
Let me indulge you for the last time. With a population of over two hundred million people and 60% of these people domiciled in the cities or wherever you call city in Nigeria, it would be difficult for the average Nigerian to make in these days and time. Competition is fierce, time is fast and short, opportunities are rare.
So it is advisable that any pragmatic man or woman consider the option of relocating to the village to start from there.
Here is an example; I have a young friend who did his NYSC at PH. While serving, he learnt graphic designs after service, the young man relocated to his village a rural part of Rivers state called Jonkarama in Ahoada West and sets up a computer and graphic design school and today that young man is a multi millionaire because the oil firms in his community contracted him to be doing their works for them.
Tell Mr city boy, if this young man were to remain in PH, how would he have succeeded in competing with the already established coperations and individuals in the city?
FamilyRe: I Don't Want My Son To Bear My Surname. Could This Be Possible? by Exmilitant(m): 5:05pm On Jul 25, 2023
If you want to begin a new chapter with your kids fine but have in mind that one of them must take after your hated father.

I have a British friend who boast of their family name. He said the name have been in the family for 600 years. And I believe there must have been scoundrels and all sorts along the line in the family but none of them planned to changed that name anytime soon.

OP, I hope you don't plan to call him, Samuel Peter or Francis Emmanuel or Philip Paul?
Abeg we be Africans o.

Is this a joke or what? How about Tinubu remaining in Iragbiji to hustle? How about Messi remaining in Argentina to play football? How about Ronaldo staying back in Portugal? How about Adeboye staying put in Ifewara? How about Dangote moving all his businesses to Kano? Should I go on or you have gotten the message? cheesy

Maybe you need to study the relationship between opportunities and location. Wetin dey village? Better pack your bags and move where your chances are brightest.
You have a shallow mindset.
Where is Obasanjo, Gowon and IBB living in your Abuja and Lagos? Don't they have thriving businesses outside their villages?
So many successful persons in the US lives in the rural part of the US and controls their business empires from there. In these days and age 60% of people in cities may not be successful because of the fierce competition there.
So strategizing from the comfort of the rural area can catapult you to height unimaginable.
A school mate from Cross River state relocated to his community to take charge of his father's palm plantation. Under two years he built houses here in PH and rented them out. Niggar is now exporting palm kernels shell to India.
