And wherever nigeria goes, the rest of africa follows and the whole africa joining BRICS means the end of the west. africa is that geese that always lays the golden egg for the west. so this is why 3 powerful chinese warships is in nigeria right now for that BRICS protection when tinubu makes the announcement , because best believe the west would bring that war to our doorsteps after the announcement . i hope yall ready for this war, hope you have your bunkers ready and my igbo brothers start the engine of that ogbunigwe

The bomb was necessary.
It ended the war

The bomb was not necessary. The people targeted were not at the war front, they were civilians far away from the field of action. It was utterly wicked to use not one but two atomic bombs on a civilian population. Pearl Harbour was a military installation and fair game, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not.

Religion / Re: Reincarnation Questions by exotique1fy(f): 8:06am On Jul 13, 2023
onatisi:
I just noticed something and I think the more I think about it ,the more it makes me to believe that we have all been somewhere before or maybe this isn't the only life we are living .
Please before I go further, I am a Christian and all these opinions of mine doesn't in anyway mean I don't believe or serve my Lord Jesus Christ.
Haven't you noticed that at times when you see someone ,you will remember you have met the person before , the person too remembers you but upon questioning that person you will realise that your path have never crossed before? Sometimes ,you may even think you have done something before in the past but when you now think deeply you will find out ,it never occurred .
This led me to think and ask, have we been somewhere before and maybe this isn't our first time on this earth? How come at times we see some things ,faces ,people we are sure we are familiar with but yet we realise in this earth we have never met them?
Is there any scientific analysis or explanation for this ?

It is true that man dies to be reborn again because of karma. That eerie feeling of familiarity with people or situations in your present life that you are sure you had no previous encounter with is the evidence of this fact. Unfortunately, reincarnation is a concept that modern Christianity has denied in its entirety, though it is the truth.

This NDLEA will be indirectly promoting drug abuse thinking they're campaigning against it. Like they did with meth, they're doing with this nitrous oxide.

Don't mind them. Instead of them to silently weed out the product from our space.

The funny thing is that only the rich and well travelled have the means of maintaining such habits. The very poor, which happens to be majority, simply can't afford this.

The uncomfortable truth about slavery is that blacks sold other blacks as slaves to the Europeans. The whites have apologised (numerous times), but the blacks, especially the ones here in Nigeria will never do so.

Ok..I'm sorry🙏

Just went through your posts. I noticed that you are a Buddhist. You believe Aum is the most powerful mantra. You encourage focus on Chakras during meditation. You are not expressing your personal experiences and most importantly, not all my questions were answered in your previous most (especially the first question I asked). You gave some useful tips though.

Religion / Re: Meditation by exotique1fy(f): 11:31pm On Jul 05, 2023
I have a lot of questions. Here are a few...

What is the difference between meditation, mindfulness and contemplation?

In practical terms, how do you know which is which? As in, if you sit down quietly and close your eyes, what should you do to meditate? To contemplate? To be mindful?

Are they just different words for the same thing? Or different ways of understanding the same thing?

What is the role of mantras and charged words? Which type of practice is facilitated by the use of mantras/charged words? Are they good, bad or something to use with caution and proper guidance?

Does sitting position matter? Do you really need to close your eyes (especially when you are alone in a room)?

What about breathing exercises?

Like I said earlier, have a lot of questions, let me stop here for now.

Politics / Re: The True Power Of 'have You Tried Turning It Off And On Again' In Politics" by exotique1fy(f): 2:10pm On Jun 28, 2023
Purvan:
Dear fellow netizens,

I couldn't help but notice that our beloved politicians are facing some serious glitches in their decision-making systems. As an IT aficionado, I propose a revolutionary solution: 'Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again?'

Think about it! Whenever our politicians find themselves stuck in a loop of ineffective policies, outrageous promises, or mind-boggling bureaucracy, why not just give the whole system a reboot? Imagine the chaos that would ensue if politicians suddenly restarted and reevaluated their methods!

Picture it: a rebooted parliament, fresh-faced politicians ready to debug corruption, and upgraded software that actually focuses on serving the people. It's the ultimate power cycle!

Of course, this approach might require an IT technician in every government office, armed with a knowledge of memes and witty comebacks. But hey, if it works for us in the IT world, it might just work in the world of politics.

So, my fellow Nairalanders, let's band together, grab our keyboards, and hit the reset button on politics. Together, we can create a system that truly operates at peak efficiency and leaves us with fewer error messages.

We simply cannot afford a reboot. Resetting the system will destabilise a lot of things. We can only patch up and make due with what we have.
