SoNature:This has nothing to do with lack of understanding of crowd control. If you try pulling down a gate in the US custom you won't be teargassed you will be shot instantly, let's be reasonable and not emotional, how stupid can on be to want to pull down the gate of a military zone. For me the tear gas is a mild punishment, if you don't know, this would have been viewed as an attack on the customs in the Western world, the same western world you feel understand crowd control..... In summary, their uniform men don't understand crowed control better than our men do, difference is their people follow rule and don't behave like wild animal, people would stay on a queue when asked to do so, not in Nigeria. Una no dey travel. Go and pull down the gate of any military base in the world and see if you won't get a head shot instantly. |
aariwa:Can't you just mourn the great Aketi and for once get off your religious horse..... My pastor wore his cap to preach on cultural Sunday, Apostle Joshua Selma said he had prayed for people on several occasions with his face cap on and they got healed.... You who have been removing your cap how many blessing has that brought for you..... All these poor Christains removing their cap, where is the evidence in their lives that God feels good about their cap. Why are you not complaining about churches where women don't cover their hair. You are just a bigot and you need help |
I have had two accounts for the last couple of months, how is this news. My UK and Nigerian numbers. |
Mindlog:Are you saying, going to the media will get the job done? Think critically guy |
Kloenboi:Well you just messed it all up by tribalizing it |
Kloenboi:That he doesn't come out to the media to speak doesn't mean he is speaking. Do you follow him around to know when he meets with the governor or calls the governor on the phone, now he has met with the president I believe this is among the issues they have discussed. I was at a very senior boss house some years ago at night, he sent his personal body guard to wake me up, the deputy governor of the state (I won't mention the state) was coming, the deputy governor came in around 2am at night we had the meeting for about 2 hours and he left, he came in a hilux with just the driver and a police officer. The elderstateman had asked for an audience with the deputy but the deputy said it would be disrespectful for such a senior citizen to come, so the deputy governor came over instead out of respect. My point is, the fact that you don't see God in on media talking doesn't mean he is silent. |
Mindlog:Talking does not make any impact if you are not talking to the right persons. If he feels the need to talk about the killings, speaking to the media won't change anything. Just like he did now, he went to meet the President and spoke with him, that's how elder statesman are to act not jumping up and down the media. Obasanjo during the time of Buhari went about saying so many things in the media but not once did he go to meet Buhari one on one to discuss issues and give advice. |
There is nothing awkward about the man. Not everyman runs around talking anyhow. I think is a man who values his words and only speaks as at when due. Like you noticed he went quietly to see the president and discussed issues with him not like Gen Obasanjo who would start writing letters here and there. Every past head of state and president has always supported a present government except Obasanjo who acts like a kid running his mouth. If you don't like something, you go meet with the president as an elder statesman, not running your mouth like the average Gen Z. |
Ontop 1k ohhh. Less than a dollar |
Buy a mud logging unit if you can afford it and understand the business. $1k per day could turn your entire business around |
Lies. Let them pass social media bill Abeg, all these fake stories will stop when people start going to jail. I filled up my tank this morning at Northwest at VGC same 45k (from reserve) |
Penguin2:Did you read the part where he received some amount into his personal account? Do you people read to understand or read to argue |
Chikpat:Have you lost your sight? Does the lion need to walk before you can see that it is not looking skinny or your brain is malfunctioning? Is the malnourished looking lion walking? If your yardstick is footsteps then I ask again can you see the malnourished lion walking for to judge. Some of you are just walking about with skulls filled with cotton |
That picture of the lion is a very old picture that has even been used for memes. Again to show this story is fauls, how come the second lion on the ground is looking well nourished, in the same zoo, if you ask me that is a sick lion. I am strongly in support of social media regulations, law that would send many bloggers to jail for posting fake news. What you don't know is you destroy the country with this, tomorrow you will insult the government when someone from one small African country disrespects you but you are the same person assassinating the image of the Nation. |
He is in Nigeria to tell us their own side of the story but the western media has brainwashed you guys so badly that you are so hatefilled to even listen. Whatever he says would not make any sense because the media already poisoned your minds. Nigerians are too emotional, we think with our minds not our head, the west knows this and they keep taking advantage. Show me the list of country's that recognize HAMAS as a terrorist group again let me laugh. Your ancestor went into slavery because of mirrors. It hasn't changed the television is the new mirror.... Television program is what they call it, it is designed to reprogram your mind, you are what you watch. Keep chewing up western media propaganda hook-line-sinker. |
richiemcgold:How old did you say you were again? |
NwaliE01:It's more about the lack of professional and ethic by our civil servants, other countries have social media, but you don't see government staff leaking sensitive documents. Tomorrow this same Nigerians applauding the civil servants now will insult the government when information bordering on national security and fight against terrorism is leaked and soldiers end up getting ambushed. |
It's is embarrassing that the government would have to release this memo, it shows zero work ethic and professionalism on the part of the civil servants. But more shameful is the fact that Nigerians are happy about these leakages. It's really shameful the kind of citizens we have today |
chiagozien:Go school una no go gree. Even illiterate old people in the village attend designated markets on the market days. At their level they understand that you can't go about selling you good anyhow and anywhere... So my brother you see that illiterate old women in the villages know better than you? |
It's good to see Africa finally getting it right |
On a Monday morning? Obviously what you need is a job not protest. |
lonecatt:Are the higher institutions and hospitals in your state feeding the populace? You people just say anything to justify your hate, you don't mind how dumb it's is |
Northern politicians really did well for them, they are not stupid for wanting to retain power, they have seen the benefits. Obasanjo was president for 8 years and even the road leading to his famous Ota farm could not be fixed, let alone Ogun. Good luck was president and you can't see any tangible thing he did in Bayelsa. But look at the Universities and many other Federal projects Buhari pushed to his Daura his village. Northern politicians do well in infrastructure for their people. FG makes available agricultural loans for every state, you will notice that farmers in core northern villages have access to this loans but farmers in southern states hear about agriculture loans as a mirage |
lonecatt:It's a tech hub not a farm How do you people shut down your brain just hate. |
hardon1:You comment reeks of jealousy |
hardon1:Are you this pained because you lack the capacity to feed yourself let some feed another? And is there a reason why you are following me all over Nairaland. We are happy married or not why are you so pained about another man's happiness? That's demonic you need to check your self. |
Hausa man with an Igbo name.... Very interesting. If to say I be Igbo, I swear I for dey cash out steady. Those guys believe anything bro. Just wake up on morning booom drop story say me and Jesus been dey role for my former life and I fit follow am reason make e sell mansion for heaven. I go tell them say I go follow Jesus talk make e give Igbo people their own estate for heaven, we go call am Heavns Biafra. I swear, give me two weeks, I don get radio station like NK, anybody wer challenge me them go burn him papa house. 3 months i don buy house for Beverly Hills. If E cast I say na enemies wan set me up. Any woman wer I nack, na heaven straight..... |
My President. Living Legend. The definition of Enigma |
I really think FG need to set up a centre to check people's brains, especially young Nigerians. I really don't know what happened to their ability to reason logically. One lady Beyonce, a celebrity is the yardstick for measuring decency in black billionaires wives? People are hardly using their brains in this age |
hardon1:If you can't take care of your children and their mother you have no right to be called a man or father, that you can't man up to take care of responsibilities that are rightfully yours doesn't mean you hate others for it. It's nobody fault that you wanna turn out to be the kind of father the kids will be ashamed of. That you don't take care of you baby-mama is act of wickedness, weakness and selfishness. Having a child for gave her the name baby-mama, it reduced her market value and an African, it also might have affected her pursuit for her dreams and goals, the least you can do is be a good father to her. Na men like you make children dey beg for street, |
Hmmmm |
fx45:I wasn't expecting you to say anything less disrespectful, I have seen kids worse than you. Insults from children like you only continues to show the terrible jobs done by their parents. Children from bad homes like you motivate me to raise my children well so they don't end up like you. |
