I don't think he really has a choice at this moment. The moment he declared interest in APC he lost trust from Kwankwanso and the Kwankwansia movement.
He already has a lot of enemies in NNPP remember the party tried to expel Kwankwanso his boss ,which is why Kwankwanso is shopping for another party.
Right now he has lost it with the party, the movement and his boss. His only option will be to move.
His deputy seems to be in bed with Kwankwanso so APC will have to fill in another candidate for the next election.
But getting a free ticket is only possible if he is willing to agree to terms and conditions set by Ganduje and Barau, so in reality he has no stand to give any conditions.
