casecasr: Long Post Alert!!! (Thought someone might learn one or two)
Alhamdulillahi, it's PPR!!! Came in when i least expected. It's been God all the way.
Timeline.
ITA : 25th July
AOR: 12th August
Med Passed: 12th September
Biometric Captured: 14th September
PPR: Dated 25th September (got it this Morning @ 1.34 am)
May God reward the moderators of this forum. Sincerely, only God Can reward them. I thought about this journey about this period last year and gambled with ielts (4th Oct, 2017) with BC. To God's glory I passed at first attempt, L,S,W, R - 8, 7, 7, 8.5. Then i evaluated my first and 2nd degree Cert with WES, hubby was also pushed to write IELTS hoping to get @ least 441 but she had 6.5 in IELTS with listening being 5.5. CRS was 438. I entered the pool on 14th February. As ITA no gree drop, we had to get her master's certificate evaluated as well WITH WES, NASU strike caused a lot of delay + UNILAG postponement of convocation early this year (WES evaluation was done with Statement of Result as certificate wasn't available then, also nah standard posting I do for her oo, no much difference from Courier in terms of timeline). WES Evaluation was completed on 15th July, I updated my profile sharply and CRS jumped to 448. We got ITA that same day.
Did my medical @ Q-life (being the cheapest for the kids) on 19th of July, same day was the PCC( I just walked in to Alagbon and negotiated 5k with the officer{not the popular inspector in the house}).
I had collected my work reference letter since June as well as my pay stub. Wife's work reference letter was collected few days to application (this wasn't reqd but dont know why the system insisted i submit it, I stated it in LOE that her work experience doesn't add up scores for us)
I have a bit of Travelling experience across europe, my 1st Application to UK was denied (I stated reasons for denial in my LOE), and also showed that my subsequent application was approved. My Application was quite simple not perfect but God has perfected it for me.
POF was 100% TBILLS of two tranches, first was 25% of POF which has been in TBILL since May, 2nd Tranch of 75% was gift deed (notarised) has just been placed in t-bill in less than a week to my application. I submitted both my savings and current account Statement and stated in LOe that my current account is basically for card payment while my Savings is used for my salary and other transaction, this is really the case. I also had other voluminous transaction which i never talked about as e no concern dem, however, I stated that my POF is from the TBILLS which i attached the certificates.
I didnt rush to apply, i made sure everything was thorough and detailed. My family have 4 members.
For awaiting applicants, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS refer to page one of this trend. It was more than helpful in my Application.
Wishing us all best of luck!!! Congratulations! Sweet timeline..looks like July and August AORs should be expecting fast processing.#fingerscrossed |

casecasr: Good day House. You guys have been really helpful all through my canny process. However I have another question. So I woke up this morning to a CPCO-Final Request mail saying ready for visa and that I should submit my passport. Now I’m really happy but I just logged in to my application and it still says ‘in progress’. Guys please before I continue dancing here, is it normal? See ehn, as long as you’ve received the ppr email your current cic Account status is secondary. Please keep dancing. It has happened! Congratulations! Kindly share your timeline |

Dreal4mula: I feel I am the only whom they are yet to attend to. AOR April 08, 2018, IP1 April 17, 2018. CIO Sydney has been with my file since then.
I need to renew my rent. I am so frustrated and I feel like withdrawing my application. I am just so confused and frustrated. I do not know why mine went this way. First things first, you’re not alone.a few weeks back someone shared with us how they’re still waiting even after 8months... I know it’s different for everyone but just hang in there. Do your best to just live in the now..I can’t tell you to take your mind off it cos I know how impossible that has been for me but still Kindly erase the thought of withdrawing your application except if your desire to relocate has changed.. Have you ordered gcms notes?if not, you should and if it’s been awhile since you ordered it, order another one or call in and hope you get to speak with a nice agent. Just hold on, your testimony isn’t far at all. We’ll all celebrate with you soon!cheers! |

MissMoroti: SILENT READER HERE! CLEAR ROAD PLS!! PARDON THE LATE AND LONG POST! Single applicant here!
My first IELTS was September, 2017. Speaking was fine but on the day of LRW, my village people sat by the bonfire and stirred the pot well. Guess what? I woke up 10am! I did not bother to go again, just went online to book another date in december. Till today, I still wonder how I didn't hear my alarm ring. But petty IELTS had the guts to courier my result to me ..average of 2.0 smh! lol
Anyway, second attempt results came out December 15th, I maxed out the scores LSWR (8.5,8.0,7.5,8.5) and entered pool same day with CRS score 441. Every fortnight, my heart will beat fast but tie-breaking rule didn't want me to be great. So I used that opportunity to gather docs, got my office reference letter, opened an investment account with my bank cos i planned to use 100percent gift deed.
After 5months, I got ITA in May 23, 2018. Went for medicals in June, Oga moshood to d rescue for PCC. Submitted July 6th.
Timeline: Submission and AOR - July 6th MEP: July 21 (on a saturday fa) ...No mail o, I just make sure I log in once everyday ADR: August 6th (My intl passport had 5months left on it so they requested for a new one) The rush for a new passport carried me to ogun state and I got it within 24hours. ADR submitted August 8th ADR changed to N/A the same day Background check started processing: August 11th No ghost update oh, Just pret pour visa mail PPR: August 15th. Submitted pp at Vfs: August 17th Picked up pp at Vfs: September 12th
Thought it was a scam, HOW CAN ONE GET PPR IN 38DAYS, na so I send am give my besty, she confirmed it was ppr fa. My cic profile just got updated to "approved" last thursday with the counterfoil and still no mail to alert me...lol.
Docs Submitted: * IELTS (BC didn't include my middle name, people suggested I get affidavit, I never did) cos I honestly didn't think it would cause issue...it didn't! * ECA and Degree certificate * Bank reference letter and investment account (NO ACCOUNT statement was submitted) * Work reference letter and I.D card (People also insisted I submit pay slips, I DID NOT!...Keep it simple guys) * PCC * Medicals form. * NO LOE to explain the names o.
@dvash thanks for the moral support from my drop off to pick up. lol! This thread has helped me a lot!! I'm very grateful! God is great! Congratulations to you and all the PPR recipients this month! This ppr news just made my day! June Aor, July Aor, Ottawa VO. I’m excited. I will share my testimony soon by God’s grace. We will all testify! |

Fede890: ...............................ITS PPR ...............
Timeline: ITA: 7th February 2018 AOR: 25TH APRIL MEP: 9TH MAY IP2: 24TH JULY ADR: 15TH August, submitted ADR: 18th August PPR: 7th September
My Canadian journey started in 2015 when a colleague at work told me about it, due to personal reasons, I was not quite ready to relocate permanently at the time, I opted to study and luckily I was approved for study leave at work. Spent a year and a half in Canada and of course I did not want to come back to naija but had no choice as I had to return back to my job here. I wrote IELTS 3 times, twice in Nigeria, once in Canada 1st attempt: LRSW: 8,8.5,8,6.5 (did not bother to remark, knew I didn't do well in writing) 2nd attempt: LRSW: 7.5, 8.5, 7, 7 ( no point remarking because of listening) 3rd attempt: LRSW: 8.5.8.5,8,7 WES: waited for 7 months before I got ECA, I had wanted to apply before my visa expired to extend my status in Canada but WES had other plans
POST ITA: Had 3 months to submit,I wasted the first month, did not do anything other than medicals, I was pretty occupied with other things. Started gathering documents sometime in March. End of march, ran into some troubles, I couldn't get hold of my Canadian bank to give me a reference letter, I called several times, sent emails, they confirmed receipt of email yet no letter. This went on for another 3 weeks. In the mean time, I thought of rejecting the ITA because the funds in the Canadian account was about 40% of POF and back then I did not know about gift deeds. Thankfully, with less than two weeks to go before deadline to submit, I called the bank's contact center and was literally crying on the phone to the lovely agent that helped me out. She kept me on hold and contacted my home branch and got the branch manager to send me my reference letter that same day. POF included: savings from my office cooperative account, mutual funds investment I did sometime last year an Cad account (submitted statements printed online, I was not about to start another huddle of trying to get stamped statements). submitted 6 months statement of my salary account (stamped), was advised to submit this as further proof of employment
Newbies, don't take it personal when seniors refer you to page 1. after I found this tread and everyone always saying page 1, I went to look at the page 1, imagine my shock when I found out about gift deed. Could have used that since when I was not getting appropriate response instead if giving myself unnecessary high bp.
Wishing you all speedy PPRs, the journey wasn't easy but it was well worth it. Congratulations! 3 PPR announcements this morning! Very encouraging indeed! May speedy PPR fall on us o... |

masrapido: You guys were right!!! You were so right!!!
IT'S PPR!!!!!
I can't believe it. I have been screaming round my house since I saw the mail. After all the BP spikes and chest pain, here we are. Thanks to everyone who calmed me down yesterday. Please find my timeline below.
ITA - March 26 AOR - June 13 MEP/IP1 - June 27 IP2/ADR for spouse's Schedule A - August 3 1st Ghost update - August 15 2nd Ghost update - September 4 PPR - September 5
My journey started in 2016 when I decided to apply for EE using an agent. Wrote IELTS in September 2016, got my ECA and dived in. I had to reject the first ITA because I found out that my agent had made some 'modifications' to my work history, and wanted me to get my former employers to tweak things to that effect. The second ITA timed out due to POF issues. After that, I lost interest and decided to continue with my academics instead. By December 2017, my brother became a PR and I realized that I could get back the points I had lost due to having a birthday. Add to that the prospect of a wasted IELTS, I decided to give EE another go. And the rest, as they say, is history. I got ITA two weeks before my birthday at a CRS score of 451. Cut-off for that draw was 446, exactly 5 points below my score.
POF was my (accompanying) spouse's employee savings, the letter was not in any particular format but stated the current balance and how long he had been saving. I included his work history in the application since I knew our POF was somewhat tied to his job, so we had to get letters from his supervisors as well.
It's been a long and challenging journey - for all of us - but I know that our rest is near. To my fellow June AORs, thanks for the encouragement, you all are next in line.
Cheers. ~dances out with serious Niger Delta waist shaking~ Congratulations!i greatly rejoice with you! And as a fellow June Aor, I can’t even explain how much hope your ppr has given me. May God favour you and yours as you embark on this new journey! |

Vuproff: Hello house thank you for all the relevant and useful information on this thread. I must say well done guys. God bless the work of our hands.
Please I got appointed by a Canadian province after graciously securing a job under the AIPP - Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. I have been directed to Apply by paper and am currently getting all documents up to roll.
Please i seek for advice from any one who has applied through this program and what they did or who ever has the right information, Please chat me up, mail me @ proffvin11@gmail, then we could chat more through phone.
Pls, a quick one, is there a problem using the normal A4 papers for printing my IMM documents?
Thank you all. Hi congratulations on your appointment and ITA. I hope you’ve gotten answers to your questions. I wish I could help but I know next to nothing about the AIPP and paper application. However, I do need your help. Can you kindly share your experience and how got this appointment. I’ve read through on the cic website but I need more information about securing a job cos they mentioned ‘designated employers’ But there’s no list. Please kindly share the methods and website you used during your job search. Thank you! |

JohnDoe89: You need your POF as soon as your get your AOR. However, you will need to prove that the fund are yours and not borrowed. Since they ask for the prior 6-month statements, they will see if the minimum required funds have been added in on lump sum. You will need to prove the origins of the funds if you are in that situation. You should check this link on how you can prove origin: https://www.justforcanada.com/settlement-funds.html You’re right except that you need POF before AOR not “as soon as you get AOR”. This is because you’d need to upload your POF during your online application to receive the AOR in the first place. I doubt that you’ll be able to submit an application without POF. So I’d say you need your POF before you submit your application or post ITA. |

Big shout-out to everyone for their help and guidance on the thread: @Glitteringstar @mcstan18 @happytbaby, everyone!

You have been away from the thread for a while but I want to thank you here for all the support, encouragement, my NOC you corrected, the LOEs you took your time to write for me, the follow-up. I can't type everything here. I am not even an ardent follower or member of the thread but that didn't stop you from going out of your way for me. May God bless and reward you beyond whatever you have ever desired of Him
Thank You everyone. God will do it for all of us. I can't contain my joy.

I see Zutlin did his/hers after medicals was passed.
So that I know if I should try registering. I can’t remember when exactly I registered but the important thing is that I used my AOR to register. I think I was asked to upload ppr or copr letter but since I didn’t have I uploaded my AOR...I attended the August 14 session in Abuja |

Reasonabledoubt: It’s just 4days after AOR, and I’ve been logging signing into my account to check for update more than once a day.
How did you people stay sane o? I’ve read the suggestions here, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
I don’t know how to handle this obsession.
God help me. If it’s any consolation I’m 85 days post AOR. I’ve now reduced my daily log in to once or twice a week. I attended a planning for Canada session and I’m spending time looking into the MAP they prepared for me...it helps, but in all honesty it’s not enough. I try to read on NL posts and canadvisa daily, helps but still not enough... If I’m being honest, I can’t even say how I’ve managed to stay sane esp cos I’m not currently employed. If you’re currently working, I think it makes things a lot better...just try not to worry too much. For me, reading PPR announcements actually helps me stay very hopeful and positive. I hope you find something that works for you during this waiting time. Cheers! |
