.OK , yet to see it thou
I’ve just resent it but just incase you don’t see it, I was going to ask you for an IMSU contact if you have one. I know contacts are something people would rather share privately and I understand.

This enquiry is for my sister. Though she used WES. WES has sent the verification mail to IMSU for quite a while now and there’s been no response. Apparently the contact person she had for her transcript is no longer reachable. Do you know how else she can contact IMSU ?Or would you please pm with your contact person’s details if you have one? Since you didn’t get my pm, I on the other hand, receive pm requests all the time. If you don’t mind, kindly try ’pming’ me. Thanks

Hi please I sent you a pm. Kindly respond. I won’t be a bother, I promise. It’s just for a simple yet private consultation. Thanks in advance

You may have your specific reason for making Mississauga or Brampton a priority, Have you ever thought of living in North York, East york, Etobicoke and Scarborough to mention but a few.. these places all makes up the GTAs and they have the same Transit that transverses the whole areas and they are all some minutes away from Toronto downtown( call it the heart of Canada, you may never be wrong!).

Having said that, I can't categorically say, I will assume the Mississauga transit is more efficient as regards time intervals, they both have same prices for bus tickets on a single way trip and I should also think houses in Brampton are on the average cheaper than Mississauga.
Thanks a lot. I’m specifically considering Brampton or Mississauga cos I just want to be close enough to Toronto asper big city, more opportunities advantage..Atleast for now. I feel like it’s a good place to start. Oh well, I’ll keep researching and make up my mind soon enough. Thanks again

Boss13:
Both bus transits are okay. However, it appears that the GO train (a regional transport system) have more travel time for Mississauga than Brampton.

Please note - Brampton and Mississauga are under Peel Region.
Noted! Thanks a lot...decisions!decisions!. I’ll sha settle somewhere last last.

You do not have to fill it if your family composition hasn't changed. If you feel uneasy leaving it out, you may then fill and submit.
I already submitted without it. Was just going through the email again and got a little worried. I guess I can rest easy now. Thank you.

Hi all, please I need reassurance. I was just looking through my ppr again and I’m almost getting worried. I didn’t fill that IMM008 form cos I didn’t think it was necessary since there had been no change in my family configuration( single applicant). But looking at it again, it appears to be a requirement. Please is there anyone that submitted passport without IMM008 and has received Copr? Biko help me

I beg to differ Sir/Ma on the "kinda joint Transit", Mississauga uses the Mi way and Brampton uses ZUM, If only you are talking about the provincial Go Transit ( to include bus and train) that navigates some cities in the province...
Hello sir/ma,
Please from your own POV, Which of the two cities has a better transit system? Mississauga or Brampton? And any other useful pointers you can give me will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello house.

Congrats to all ITA clinchers, PPR lockdowns and IELTS grabbers

Every win is a win, so I would like to share one too.

1st Attempt July 28 2018 LRWS-9,6.5,6.5,8.5 MOD
2nd Attempt Aug 18 2018 8.5,7,6.5,7.5 MOD

I felt really down and tired but wifey insisted I go for an EOR, I got more worried at parting away with 46k but she sha rubbed my head and we went ahead since it was supposed to be out with 3-21 days. So I sent them a mail and bcc idp Australia and I got the regular response from those ones.

Fast forward to 21 days and no response so I called MOD and the gave one story of escalating it to their partners and would get back to me before EOB. I did not get a feedback so I decided to send a mail again and copied Australia and I got an instant response from IDP requesting for my test date and candidate's number. I replied and we exchanged a few mails and I was assured that they were on it and that I would get a response soon.

A mail dropped at 2:50 pm this afternoon and I just left what I was doing, and dashed down to their office. My writing was upgraded to 7.

I was feeling really distraught yesterday because I was really tired of everything but this is a huge energy boost for me.

Apologies for the story, i just cant hold back
Congratulations! You’ll have more wins until your ultimate prayer is answered. Stay blessed!

Congratulations bro.

As a side note, it doesn't speak well of anyone to come to this forum, benefit immensely and then bow out with the kind of PPR announcements we've been seeing lately, this one in particular. PPR announcements have their own way of boosting badly battered morale of some people who visit this thread. Sometimes, all one would need to continue to fire on is a visit to the PPR section of page 1 but very few would read the kind of PPR testimonies we see these days and feel "gingered". I won't be surprised if you've also benefitted from those long narratives of happy people here.

We can do better guys.
You’ve made a really good point here. On the other hand though, there could be a number of reasons why a person may not be able to write their story...time, inability to properly put their thoughts into words or some other reasons we may not even be aware of...let’s learn to give people the benefit of the doubt..you never know. Cheers!

Praise God saints, finally got my PPR in the night. Timeline below;
AOR....29th May
IP1.....6th June
IP2 and ADR.....20th Sept
PPR......3 October

ADR was for additional bank statements for pOF...i had initially only used employer pension fund statement. Thank God for this forum, I was stuck at CRS of 430 with only a bachelor's until i learnt of using ACCA diploma (for finishing papers F1 to F9) to get two or more certificate.

Thanks to all who answered my questions and helped in any way. May God bless you who are waiting for your PPR, you'll get there eventually.
Congratulations!

Oh no i am in Edmonton.
But I am sure you can get anything you want on rentfaster.ca or rentboard.ca or even kijiji

Download dingtone to get a Canadian line so you can contact the landlords when you find one. They tend not to pick up foreign numbers from my experience.
Thanks a lot for the useful pointers. God bless you! kiss

Hi,
Not sure what the arrangement is but coming in December (when the cold is at it's peak and the temperature is in the minus) you might have to double check on that basement suite. If you do not have direct control over the heater, then I will say don't go there. The basement is the coolest part of the house FYI. The difference in price between a basement and a shared apartment may be insignificant when compared to the cold you would have to deal with.

My opinion though!!!
This wasn’t directed to me but I appreciate it nonetheless. Thanks a lot. Do you live in Mississauga? Can you help with finding a shared accommodation?

Hi!
For job opportunities, I will use this analogy, Missi is like "Lagos Island" while Brampton is "Lagos mainland". You can deduce that right smiley
For accommodation, I live in Brampton and I can tell you that it's really peaceful.
For Transit system, Brampton and MIssi kinda run a joint transit which kinda makes it so easy.
Hope that helps!
Hi, thanks a lot for responding. I truly appreciate it. I can’t quite deduce your analogy cos I’ve never lived in Lagos. Asper transit systems, I can choose either city then?hmmmm...God help my indecision!

Hello everyone! A very big weldone to everyone on this thread that takes out their time to respond to questions and proffer solutions. God bless you all.
I feel blessed to have crossed over here from the sister thread after receiving my ppr last week smiley. Please I urgently need your advise/ opinions and comparisons between Mississauga and Brampton. I’ll be as detailed as I can about what’s important to me at this point.
1. Job opportunities. My kind of job is not industry-specific. It’s more of administrative duties and I am currently building my career as a health and safety professional. So I basically need a place with more job and networking opportunities and higher pay wink

2. Transportation. I want a city with good public transport system as I may not be driving for some months.

3. Accommodation. I’m a single lady so I’m basically looking for a room in a shared apartment or a studio if it’s not too expensive.
From my research, Brampton has cheaper rents but Mississauga is more diversified as per jobs. Also read that crime rate is higher in Brampton.
Please I’ll deeply appreciate any advice or opinions. I intend to land first week in November.
Also any suggestions for other cities in Ontario in very welcome.
P.s: the only reason i didn’t mention Toronto is cos of the high rents and Ottawa cos I read in different places that it is too laid back.
Please help!

I don’t know whether someone has already responded but since you’ve previously mentioned it, it means that they have that information in their own records already. I think you should raise a CSE Asap stating that you omitted it in your pr application (for whatever reason)

So I’m back with the full gist!
I evaluated my MSc since December o. I was a complete jjc then and had no ide about this platform so I was busy waiting for BSc. Of course NASU strike had to happen and verification was another long story. Maybe if I had known that I could evaluate only MSc I for dey cannyland by now grin.. oh well, all things work together for good! Eventually got the ECA in May, entered the pool the same day.

Post-ITA. I did 2 LOEs. One for education, I just briefly explained that even though I graduated in 2012 my very bears 2014 because that’s when it was issued. The 2nd LOE was for pof, just explained that my could not give me letter in cic format so I uploaded 6months statements plus reference letter. I even did conversion for them from pounds and naira to CAD. I attached screenshots of the conversion rate for that day. Pof was Dom and current Account from the same bank..I think my application wasn’t so dramatic. Personally, I don’t think the LOEs were necessary, but who knows? Plus it’s better to err on the side of caution right?
My anxiety was on a different level o. I ordered GCMS notes July 27, got it August 28...everything seemed got. No red flags. I even Call after that, still nothing had changed. That’s when I just decided to chill Abeg. I cannot comman kill myself biko.
Behold! September 26?i was going through the June APR forum on Canadavisa and noticed a few first week June applicants saying they moved to IP2 so I decided to check too. And there it was! the much awaited IP2. It felt like mini PPR to me cos I knew that my PPR was close.
That’s about as dramatic as my application was!
PS: I honestly have no tips for IELTS. I only used the practice materials that BC made available after I registered..I was to busy with school and work to practice. I wrote in the U.K. so I don’t know if this had anything to do with anything.

May God grant you all speedy PPRs. Thank to all the constant contributors. God bless you all!

I forgot to add that my VO is Ottawa
