There's only spot for 3 attackers..if son cannot make the front three it's not to try to shoehorn him into midfield...You either change formation or call another midfielder to take his place, or are you saying Liverpool were about to set EPL points record with passengers for midfielders

The funny thing is, Henderson is a top contender for EPL best player.

Looking at the stats for this season, I see no reason why Fabinho should be considered ahead of Henderson. As it stands, Henderson can never do no right in our sight anymore

A possible scenario is that a full season won't be played between now and next summer with Covid and all these lockdowns. So teams are being careful with signing players. Those who agreed to transfers before the covid are having second thoughts.

Instead of paying the selling club a fee, you can easily pay the player a fraction of it and he will sit out his contract. e,g instead of paying 50M for Sane promise him 10M sign on fee, that is his yearly salary earned just as sign on fee and he will gladly sit out to join for free. That is why most clubs avoid their key playing going into the last year of their deal cos its basically out of your hand

Man city don't need to replace Sane, , ..they got enough men upfront....

So 50m from a player who miss a complete season is reasonable

Juventus are really old ladies. The kind of deals they have gotten for old and past players who became very good at that club is still a mystery. Juventus has spent a quiet a lot recently. Ronaldo and De ligt. They are have actually spent big on players through their history unlike Bayern.

In terms of signing players, I respect Dortmund, Juventus and Bayern Munich, .....they don't over pay....
