This was based on his longevity in a dominated man united team, all thanks to SAF, English FA, Cr7 and Cantona. When Cantona left Man U in 1997 arsenal started dominating somehow and then Cr7 came in 2003, Man U started dominating again. I repeat scholes was never all that for Man U, he played his best football in his mid 30s.
