Ndidi/Casemiro have the highest number of tackles in Europe in the last 5 seasons or so. Ndidi is injury prone lately and I am sure he’s about 33 years of age.

The way Ndidi suddenly turned to an injury prone player made it clear that he reduced his age, he's at least 30 +.

Casemiro's age is perfect for a team that lacks discipline and leaders.

A 30 years old GK/CM/DM/CB is still young, they can still play for 6-8 years. So I don't get the complains about his age.

The point is that FDJ prefers to be a DLP not a DM which is what ETH wanted him for. Casemiro is a complete switch from that because its accepted that we probably wont get FDJ anymore.

Its like you dont consider the environment these guys are in. Modric is able to still be great because he's in a great situation at Madrid. There's a reason they would be happy to sell Casemiro. We simply dont have a platform for even great players to thrive yet. And bringing in expensive 30+ high mileage and high wages players is not going to fix the team.

How can/do we build this great platform if we don't sign at least 2 -3 experienced players??

A club as big as Man United don't have a 7/10 CM and a DM specialist.

Every single signing is a gamble, you just have to make sure the player(s) tick some boxes.
