Hoard of 425 24-carats gold coins was stowed in a clay jar, its lid secured with a nail, and stashed in the sands of what is now central Israel. It then sat undisturbed for more than 1,100 years, until last week, when two 18-year-olds taking part in an archaeological excavation by a hillside in Yavneh noticed something unusual. “I dug in the ground and, when I excavated the soil, saw what looked like very thin leaves,” said Oz Cohen, one of the teenagers. “When I looked again, I saw these were gold coins. It was really exciting to find such a special and ancient treasure.” The teenagers were volunteers in a vast project linked to the construction of a community in Yavneh, south of Tel Aviv. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/08/24/world/middleeast/israel-gold-coins-archaeology.amp.html

chiiraq802:He led himself to jail bro. You don't need much stress to have the bolded anytime in the States even here, why rape? He's just an animal or possible serial rapist/killer. Cops should search his farm. |
Goalnaldo:Switzerland is cool too. Almost Same landscapes and i read somewhere that English speaking population is higher in Switzerland. |
pyyxxaro:Anytime i read comments like this on Nairaland, i see a very long journey ahead of Nigeria. |

Police had discovered Sutherland's iPhone about a quarter-mile from her home. She was reported to have gone on running with her phone and Apple Watch. Police on Friday the arrested suspect was a farmer from Jonesboro and was known to the victim, but the nature of their relationship is unclear. Police found Sutherland's body following a three-day search operation using K-9 units and helicopter crews.
|
This still shared from Ring footage of a family member is believed to be the last picture of Sutherland and was taken just 90 minutes before she went on a run near her home Wednesday.
|
Lewellyn was silent on Monday and wore a bullet-proof vest and an orange prison jumpsuit as he walked up to the Jackson County courthouse for the hearing. Authorities said he confessed to her killing when they questioned him about Sutherland’s disappearance.

Gerrard59:Even the 46, almost 40 of them will send you back at the poe if you don't have much to do there. |
mank1234:I learnt the figure is still on the low side because many tourists came in through the land border and water(cruise ships). And excluding citizen tourists on vacations, travelling within the country and spending money in hotels, on food/drinks, and tourist attractions/sites. |
2Lynx:Scandinavian na another level bro. |
Beremx please come and help me move to this country na. Even if is 2years work visa/permit. |
mansakhalifa:Your opinion and what you see bro. No doubt, Cayman islands, Dominica, Bahamas, Aruba, Saint Kitts, St mateen, Bora Bora are beautiful islands, paradise, with Beaches, resorts, sun, food/fruits/Drinks, and musics. You can dive, speed boat, cruise, hike in some islands like Dominica and Martinique. But when we talk about nature, sight seeing, sometimes it goes beyond just beaches and resorts. Caribbeans(20 countries or more) received around 30million tourists in 2018. Norway, one country, received 9.9million in 2018 (excluding tourists cruising the fjords on ships) with over 30million night stays in hotels. There's a reason for the number bro, people visit Norway for both summer and winter. You can speed boat, cruise ship, car ferry tours, hike, climb, see/hike glacier, nothern lights, cave, ice climb, ski, ice skate, boat raft, dive and lots more.

johnbush:Well, ive not seen any physically. But based on what ive seen on the internet, documentaries, Norway youtube channels that ive seen, Instagram/Facebook pages, i can say Japan is beautiful but not than Norway. The landscapes, mountains, lakes, waterfall, cruise, glaciers, Northern lights in Norway is second to none. My opinion. You can google most Naturally beautiful countries on earth, you won't see Japan. You see Norway, Canada, Switzerland, United States(Colorado, Alaska, Washington State, Utah, Wyoming, Montana), and mostly Europe. |
The loss represents more than 532 trillion litres of water according to a study published in Communications Earth & Environment equivalent to 212.8 million olympic-sized swimming pools over the course of 2019, or seven for every second of the year. *. Rise in temperature Melting from Greenland's ice sheet broke records last year, losing a total of 532 gigatonnes of mass overall, analysis of satellite data has revealed. Experts led from Germany found that the ice loss in 2019 was 15 per cent higher than the previous worst year on record which was 2012. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-8647797/amp/Greenlands-ice-sheet-melted-2019-year-record.html
