Juanito Pistola's headless corpse lies upright beside the window, while other dead members of Hell's Troop are slumped across the back seats covered in blood after the shoot-out. Another four members of Hell's Troop, a wing of the notorious Northeast Cartel (CDN), were killed in clashes with police in the town, Vanguardia reported. Local media said that the vehicle Pistola died in had been used in an attack on the police several days before in a different part of the city. According to reports, cartels often recruit minors to mainly work as drug smugglers and Pistola was once arrested by police in 2015. Social media videos and narco-rap songs refer to Pistola as being a hitman in the ranks of the CDN since he was just 13. The CDN, formerly Los Zetas, have controlled the town since 2004 when they took it from the Sinola cartel in a bloody turf war which claimed at least 2,000 lives.

A 16-year-old alleged hitman had his head blown off in a gruesome shoot-out when he was dispatched with fellow gangsters to kill police in Mexico. Juanito Pistola, also known as Commander Little, was inside a van with members of Hell's Troop on Tuesday when they were ordered to ambush police in the town of Nuevo Laredo, a smuggling gateway. At around noon, Pistola and six others, armed with rifles and dressed in military fatigues, travelled in the van with Texas license plates and engaged the police in a gun battle close to the airport. High calibre rounds tore through their bodies and pictures of the aftermath showed Pistola's head taken clean off and the blood-soaked corpses of his comrades. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7411393/16-year-old-Mexican-hitman-head-blown-bloody-gun-battle-police-officers.html

Passengers and crew evacuates. People make their way out of the field towards a line of waiting ambulances following the crash. Members of the Russian Investigative Committee surround the aircraft in the corn field, which is located around a mile away from the airport where it took off. Experts have suggested that illegal dumping sites close to some of Russia's biggest airports have been attracting birds, which contributed to the crash.

Ambulances, a medical helicopter and passing vehicles stop to help after a passenger plane crashed near Moscow's Zhukovsky airport.

In total, 23 of the 226 passengers and seven crew on board were sent to hospital for minor injuries, though only one - a 69-year-old woman - required further treatment. Captain Damir Yusupov, 41, was hailed as a hero after he managed to bring the plane down without any engine power or landing gear and without causing any major injuries.

Over a week ago. A Russian pilot has been hailed as a hero after he successfully crash-landed a passenger plane without power in a cornfield after birds were sucked into both engines, causing them to fail. Ural Airlines Flight U1678 was taking off from Moscow's Zhukovsky airport at 6.10am local time bound for Simferopol, Crimea, when it suffered a double bird strike, causing one engine to burst into flames and the other to stop working. Captain Damir Yusupov, 41, radioed the airport asking to make an emergency landing but was forced to ditch into a cornfield a mile away after realising he was not going to make it back to the airport. Yusupov brought the plane down with no power in either engine and with the landing gear retracted. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7359351/amp/Flaming-Russian-jet-carrying-233-people-crash-lands-cornfield.html

MyGeneration:The forest of the planet(Green) is pictured, and i believe you will see Africa compared to other continents. We only have one forest in Africa that can rival Amazon or other Rainforests of the planets, 'Congo Basin' and the Green you can see in the picture on the map. Mind you, Amazon is still around 3-4 times bigger. You can also help by stating some untapped forests in Africa that are more than those in South America, North America, Asia, Europe, Australia like you said above. Antartica is 14,200,000 km2 (5,500,000 sq mi) in size, over 12 times bigger than Nigeria. 98% of Antartica is Ice covered. So Forest is out the question. Google, Natgeo, Discov are friendlies.
|
MyGeneration:Your opinion, your right bro. |
Modernist:He can't do that, he can only give out little. Just like give out a street in the whole Nigeria. That place is massive, with many areas unexplored hiding resources. Explores and Developers want to tap. |
timay:Is about vegetation, they made us believe that some percentage of earth's oxygen comes from plants/trees. If is true, then Amazon is housing the largest population of earth's trees and plants. If 20% can come from Amazon, 30% from other world's Forest/Vegetations/trees/plants scattered in every country of the world. Remaining 50% comes from other sources. The statistics maybe wrong a bit but not lie. |
Generalwoodz:Lol.... We're talking about Forest crossing almost 9 countries. Amazon is 5,500,000 km2 (2,100,000 sq mi) bigger than Indian in size and about 4 times bigger than Nigeria which is 923,768 km2 (356,669 sq mi),. Sambisa is just 2,258 km2 (872 sq mi), not up to whole Lagos State in size. There are bigger Forests in Congo, Russia, United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, e.tc. Sambisa is not thick, not on the list of 50 world's largest Forests. |
What you really need to know about Amazon Rainforest. *.Amazon Rainforest produces 22% of earth's oxygen. * If the Amazon rainforest was a country, it would rank 9th in size. * The nine nations that have the Amazon rainforest in their borders are: Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. * The Amazon rainforest accounts for more than half of the entire world's remaining rainforests. * The Amazon rainforest is home to 10% of the known species in the world. * The Amazon rainforest is home to more than 1500 of the bird species in the world. * There are over 40,000 different plant species and approximately 2.5 million insect species in the Amazon rainforest. * There are approximately 10 million species of animals, plants and insects known to man and more than half of them call the rainforest home. * There are approximately 3000 fruits that grow in the rainforest that are edible. * Many plants around the world have medicinal qualities. Of the plants known to have anti-cancer properties, 70% are found in the rainforest. Amazon natives use rainforest plants regularly but 90% of the ones they use have not been studied by modern science. * It is believed that there may still be as many as 50 Amazon native tribes living in the rainforest that have never been in contact with the rest of the world. * There are many dangerous species of snakes, spiders and animals in the Amazon rainforest. It is also home to the Anaconda. * If you were caught in the rain in the Amazon you would have about 10 minutes to find your umbrella. The trees are so tightly packed that it can take 1 minute for the rain to reach the ground below. * The length of the Amazon River is approximately 6400 kilometres (4000 miles). * There are over 3000 known species of fish that live in the Amazon River, with more constantly being discovered. * Anacondas lurk in the shallow waters of the Amazon Basin, they are one of the largest snakes in the world and occasionally attack larger animals such as goats that get to close the water. * The Amazon River is also home to the piranha, a meat eating type of fish! Being carnivores, piranhas are known to attack in groups, preying on livestock that strays into the water. * Over 20% of earth's fresh water flows in Amazon. * It pumps millions of barrels of fresh water in seconds into the Atlantic ocean to reduce salinity.

Amazon fires can be seen from space as wild blazes which are destroying swathes of the rainforest have turned day into night in Sao Paulo. Satellite photos show smoke drifting thousands of miles over Brazil and its border with Bolivia, Chile and Peru. This NASA satellite photo shows several fires burning in the states of Rondonia, Amazonas, Para and Mato Grosso earlier this month. Wildfires raging in the Amazon rainforest have hit a record number of 72,843 fires detected so far by Brazil's space research center. A map showing the emissions hot-spots detected by the World Meteorological Agency over Brazil and the rest of South America.

The Amazon rainforest, also referred to as the ‘Lungs of the Planet' because it produces more than 20% of the Planet's oxygen. Amazon has been burning for weeks now. Eerie pictures of Sao Paulo being blanketed in thick smoke from Amazon wildfires are going viral, with many concerned that a surge in deforestation is wreaking environmental disaster. Sao Paulo which is Brazil's largest city was plunged into darkness around midday on Monday, with monitoring data from the World Meteorological Organization showing a large smoke plume spreading south-east to the Atlantic. Pictures taken around 3:00pm - 4:30pm show that cars were forced to turn on their headlights in order to deal with low-visibility. Montoya, who worked as a cook for the hotel, allegedly spoke to a fellow employee on Monday about the HR dispute and threatened 'that he was going to shoot up fellow employees and people coming into the hotel.' 'That is terrifying,' said Imran Ahmed, the general manager of the Long Beach Marriott, at 4700 Airport Plaza Drive. During a news conference today, Luna turned and directly addressed Ahmed and said: 'Sir, you saved many lives, not only of your employees but any customers that may have been at the Marriott when this guy decided to show up and carry out his threat.' 'Multiple firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and tactical gear were seized, including high-capacity magazines and an assault rifle, which are illegal to possess in California,' Long Beach Police officials said in a statement late Wednesday. Montoya was charged with manufacturing and distributing assault weapons, possession of an assault weapon and making a criminal threat. He is currently being held on $500,000 bail at the Long Beach City Jail. 'We have seen several tragic incidents that have resulted in many lives lost,' said LBPD Chief of Police Robert G. Luna in a press conference disclosing the arrest. 'The witnesses who came forward and the diligence of our employees involved in this investigation very likely prevented a threat of violence and saved many lives.' Some 25 people have now been arrested over threats to carry out a mass shooting since the attacks in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, at the start of August. The FBI has been on high-alert for copycat shooters, it has been reported.
|
Thousands of rounds of ammunition are pictured following the police raid. LBPD were alerted to the potential mass shooting by a colleague of Montoya's who said the gunman had revealed his deadly intentions to him following an alleged HR dispute.
|
A disgruntled Marriott employee who had an enormous arsenal of weapons stashed at his home was arrested after telling a colleague he planned to carry out a mass shooting at his workplace, authorities have said. Rodolfo Montoya, of Huntington Beach, California, was allegedly plotting to murder his co-workers and Marriott hotel guests with his cache of high-powered firearms including two assault rifles, a pump-action shotgun, several pistols/handguns and body armour following an undisclosed dispute with his HR department. But his plan was foiled when the 37-year-old cook let slip his deadly intentions to a colleague who informed their manager. The manager then called the Long Beach Police Department who raided Montoya's home and seized the stockpile of weapons. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7381673/Marriott-worker-37-enormous-stash-firearms-planned-mass-shooting.html
